The real danger with the media is that they coerce the viewers as a group, into an opinion, not by fact but by emotional manipulation. News reporters should not convey feelings, such as ridicule, outrage or contempt, to name a few, at the news items they are presenting. It is unethical enough when talk show hosts do that, never mind the news.
