Yes, it did.
I can see how someone could argue the semantics of that though. "The Renaissance" was actually a number of different artistic and philosophical movements that spanned hundreds of years across Europe.
No it didn't.
The holocaust never happened.
made me kek hard when i saw this sounds like something he would say
Why is his brother so retarded and gullible about islam?
Renaissance never happened the same way how his wife never fucked 50 guys.
Holy cringe
>renaissance deniers, a dangerous extremist group
The greatest overlap between Sup Forums and /lit/ is hatred for John Green
It's something he literally said. See:
Listening to the (((Greens))) about anything is retarded.
Can I get a quick rundown. All I know is fault was made into a movie, and he makes YouTube videos that are cut like a motherfucker.
>John Green
>historian
i thought /his/ hates John as well for posing as some kind of historian?
I see no hope for the world if we don't have a violent purge of nu-males.
>Make a video about the European dark ages
>Spend 90% of it fellating Islam
Yeah, crash course that. His video on the Crusades was garbage too.
>normie friend watches him and think's he's smart
>shows me a couple videos
>literally an indoctrination channel disguised as an educational channel
Agreed.
I'm not watching that shit.
Someone give a tl;dw.
You need a quick rundown senpai?
There's a lot to hate. Go on /lit/ sometime and more likely than not there'll be a thread about him
>I like 38 dicks dipped in my cereal bowl for breakfast
This faggot is the ultim8 cringe
is this nigga the one who came up with this cereal 'sloppy seconds' shit?
you need to be lobotomized in order to tolerate so many jump cuts
What about "feudalism and the dark ages never really happened"?
I teach in a juvenile hall
Put one video with this chump on the screen
It took 3 seconds, and one of the students yelled out, "Who's THIS faggot?!"
I about pissed myself laughing.
So who is he? Is he just some nobody who larps as and historian or what?
lel
Anyone got that /lit/ copypasta about a scene from Green's book?
>hurr why don't we have breakfast for dinner durr
So he never learned that renaissance was a period of history?
A man who writes books that appeal to tween girls and became successful doing it. He has a Youtube channel where he "discusses" history with colourful cartoons, where he drastically oversimplifies things and applies double standards. He's staunchly against European colonialism, yet thinks the Islamic conquest of Spain was good and he loves the Mongols, despite all the destruction they caused.
Yeah, he's a real cucky cunty weakling!
Typical leftist.
>dotr finally here
>none of these "people" can worm their way out of anything because they've documented their entire cuckoldry across the internet
La reconquista es mala? Inquisición cuando?
?The argument is so threadbare you need to draft cereal into a human role
What would you rather have, a bowl of Cheerios, or a bowl of Cheerios with 11 dicks in it?
Look at the history clip about Alexander the Great and you will understand why people hate him.
90% feminism and anti-western talk. 10% Alexander the great
>history has very good at marginalizing women
wow its almost like, they aren't as capable as men or something....
>hurr Durr I'm a commie
>watch now as I through history down the memory hole
>remember kids, you have to believe me or you're a bad person
>but if it did it was because of the Islamic world
My brother loves the guy.
>be 17 y/o
>go to highschool
>have a literal communist teacher with commie propaganda on the walls
>teacher shows a video a day to be cool
>They are all his videos
>My brother started out os moderate republican
>now he's a fucking commie
>tfw it's because American public education is dominated by cultural marxists and there's nothing we can do about it
>Alexander wasn't great at building things
>Alexander built a lot of cities and named them after himself
stopped watching at that point
Just watched this video. I don't like the way he edits his video and his kind of humor. It comes across as deceptive, as if he is trying to convince his audience through emotional manipulation.
>The truth always resists simplicity
Okay, fuck this midwit. The truth is often pretty simple. I hate people who try to make everything out to be extremely complicated. It's such a tryhard disposition.
His argument is that the Renaissance would not have been recognized during the era so it was not a thing. The idea that people need to recognize historical sea changes in their lifetime rather than retrospect or it never happened is so painfully idiotic I don't know what to say. And honestly, taken to the extreme, you could claim all of history is simply an epistemological effort in categorizing individual events such that nothing in history existed as a thing itself and therefore nothing should have labels. So stupid.
they're apparently shown in american schools too
