Well, there were reports of ICE agents sitting outside of schools waiting for illegal parents of the kids, but I dunno about any of them actually entering the classroom and bagging someone.

It's not outside the realm of possibility. People who are getting deported have a detainment order, so that gives ICE officers the ability to go to a school, ask for the kid, then escort the kid to an ICE office/facility where the rest of his family will be gathered. People have this weird idea that ICE officers treat all deportees like shit, but that really depends on whether you have a criminal record or not and why you're getting deported in the first place.
