Dakota Access Pipeline

So I'm writing a paper on the Dakota Access Pipeline for my liberal douche professor. He obviously wants us to argue against the pipeline but I want to rustle his jimmies and redpill the class.

So redpill me on the XL Pipeline and help me educate my liberal cuck professor and his brainwashed students.

You can investigate it further.

From what I remember about it, the pipeline offered $50 million to build the line through their land. They declined, and asked for a better offer (wanted more money).
So the pipeline instead contacted the property owner beside the Native land, some military company.
The military company accepted the 50 mill offer.
The Native's got pissed, and protested.

I want to access the Madoka pipeline if you know what I'm talking about.

Lol is this really what happened? It seems so typical.

negger i cant even do my homework

I'm confused, what about the DAP are you supposed to argue about?

>Army Corps Engineers had like a shitload of meetings with local governments.
>native americans don't show up ever, even after being invited
>army corps engineers reroute pipeline over 400 times based on cultural heritage sites or some shit
>pipeline starts and native americans make a cash grab with NoDAPL
>etc
I remember reading a seriously good effort post with a shitload of .gov links that you would've loved. Wish I had saved it.

Any good 'unbiased' sources? I feel like anything I pull from Conservative leaning websites he's going to dismiss as "right-wing propaganda". He actually showed a graph in class about biased news sources and praised CNN as unbiased.

I know it seems like I'm just trying to get help on homework but I could easily BS through this and argue for the pipeline and get an A. I just want to piss him off and redpill my classmates.

I heard Warren buffet paid the protesters because he runs the railroads around the area and would lose a shit ton of money from the oil transportation industry if the pipeline went through.

seriously make sure you get the rerouting thing because they definitely did a ton of "tests" to determine what would hit cultural sites.

This is like the arguing with the cops about the constitution when you're pulled over. Just nod your head, be polite and say as little as possible to get through safely. Why you'd want to torpedo your own grade is beyond me. College is no longer the forum for this kind of debate, there's only downside to making this argument. Just get the grade. Get out. And get a job.

I'm supposed to form an argument for or against it.So I could say some shit about evil oil companies killing the pretty flowers and oppressing Injuns or talk about the economic advantages of the pipeline and how most of the environmental claims are bullshit.

Literally wants other people to do his own fucking research for him
Liberal socialist? Communist?

Well first off, I just want to say youre a faggot if youre writing an essay about something you have yet to be redpilled on.

So i'll point you into the direction of things to research and then write about so you redpill yourself.

Google:
>location pipeline is going through as opposed to indian land
>The hearings surrounding the construction of the pipeline and how many times tribe officials went to this
>The tribe Obama invited to the white house in 2011 or 2012
>The amount of jobs Obama and Trump said it will create
>The movement of oil to and from Canada as it stands right now, how much pollution it will create, when compared to oil going to and from leafland through the pipeline
>how often pipelines break and effect muh water

This will redpill you on the featherniggers and their lies

That's in the northeast shitbag, he actually own this pipeline himself

Most of the tribes actually agreed to the pipeline, only after construction started did one tibe come out and raise a shitfit

The pipeline does not cross any native american lands though so it's a total bullshit issue

No to mention the pipeline, 70 miles away from the pissed tribe's water intake, would replace a railroad bridge that currently carries oil and is only half a mile away from their intake

They just want to extort money from the pipeline company, they don't give a fuck about the water

Bring up Andrew Carnegie and Rockefellers fued over trains and bridge use to transport oil. Rockefeller ended up making a pipeline which was much more effcient than a train.

Go thru all the vastly superior efficiencies of pipes over trains. Then in the last sentence tie it all together with something like "The lessons from the past have taught us no matter how much Warren Buffet spends on marketing and protests his trains will go the way of the horse and buggy"

There's already a pipe there famalam. They're just building another one underneath it.

This guy gets it. Seriously just find all the army corps eng docs, meeting minutes from local govs, and w/e.

This. I went for my 1st degree fifteen years ago, and you were encouraged to free think.
I went back this year for better work possibilities, and you are forced to be a sheeple. Do not think for yourself, DO NOT break the cookie cutter mold. Just do what your told.

OP I can't open the news or Twitter without five articles about this. Stop shit posting and go do your homework. Most of what you will get here is incorrect and sourceless.

Look up the safety study done by the Fraser Institute. They used 10 years of rail and pipeline data and concluded that rail is over 4x less safe than pipelines per unit of petroleum product. Right now much of the stuff is being transported via rail. Look up BNSF railroad, bought by Warren Buffett for $15bn and is worth over $20bn now. Keep in mind that Buffett is a big time Obama donor.

>choosing a position entirely because of Sup Forums
>having to ask what you should write about because you have no idea why you support something
>typical Sup Forumstard

This

Even more than that, supposedly there is a pipeline near it that is decaying and if they blocked this one then the old would eventually turn into an environmental disaster.

Inb4 you get a C

Also keep in mind that most pipeline incidents occur at endpoints, not the pipeline itself, which is also mentioned in the study.

If you disagree with the professor's political views on a college paper, expect a failing grade.

MEXICAN AMERICAN TAKES SPANISH IN NIGHT SCHOOL AND GETS A B

The pipeline is good. Why? Because it makes injuns and liberals cry

Pipelines spill less per mile than raroads. It is the environmentally friendly option.

i work with the pipelines sometimes as an NDT contractor
if you want to know how they are maintained and checked for damage AMA

Right, this is the way to build your argument, use his hippy values against him.

Buffett is the biggest force against the pipeline, Bhutan he's lying about doing it for natural causes, it's all about the money transporting the oil by rail, and cutting down his competition who d transport it more efficiently in the pipeline, which would leave a smaller carbon footprint.
