Fords are built in Mexico. Which is why Trump flipped out but Ford gives no fucks about him. Fords are shit. Buy a Chevy if you want American. Or a Dodge/Chrysler. Anything from Fiat-Chrysler is better than fucking Ford. And Jeep is garbage

I drive a bicycle and the bus because I can't afford a car

get the fuck off my board.

This jeep is amazing man. Very well made.
What do you drive?

Hyundai because I got it cheap from a relative and it gets to me from A to B. Would like a Toyota RAV 4 next and go on a road trip sometime.

that was soo perfect

Buy american.
Ty leaf

American vehicles are shit when it comes to reliability.

I drive a 2005 manual Nissan Sentra. Over 130k kilometers and all its needed was a new starter.

That's not even yours, you fag.

No way.
American cars are amazing now.

Its identical to it

The last time American cars were amazing was the mid 70s. Jeeps have almost the worst record currently when it comes to reliability.

If I had to drive an American car it would be a used Crown Vic.

2013 KIA optima. All American cars are shit except Tesla.

Bull crap man

Kia is at least assembled in georgia.

Good car

Fpbp

is the pigeon dead?

I drive a suzuki, I want a VW polo gti or an Audi s1 as my next car.

I am a 32 year and do not have an drivers license, basically because I am poor

Your Prius invalidates your opinion

Needing a new starter so soon isn't that impressive. You shouldn't have to do much of anything to a car until 110-120k miles. You can do preventive maintenance: brakes, timing belt, oil change, etc; but, you shouldn't need to replace major components so soon.

Being a MuskCuck is for Redditors

I drove a 92 F-150 new off the lot sold it in 2006 with 300k miles on orig motor did have to rebuild tranny. Currently have a 90 Bronco orig motor and trans. That being said you couldn't pay me to drive the new ford truck.

The new aluminum bodies are going to be fords biggest mistake since the Pinto. Once insurance companies have to start paying the bills to change entire body panels for minor dents, the cost to insure them will sky rocket. Once that happens consumers will flee.

Anybody drive without a license? I don't have mine. I hate DMVs and don't want to deal with like insurance and all that shit. I keep thinking about getting one of those thailand mopeds but I'm not sure. What even happens if you're caught without a license?

Jesus i have two kids too

Don't do that. My dumbass cousin just got in a wreck where he didn't have insurance, his tags were expired and he wasn't wearing his seat belt.

He's going to have about 20k in medical bills after his health insurance pays. The other people's car insurance is suing him for 80k to cover their totalled car and medical bills. He's also facing criminal (although minor) charges for not having insurance.

It's not worth it, user. At least get insurance, if you're going to do it. Insurance only costs $30 a month for liability.

Here in NC, the cost of a driving without a license ticket is $300 the first time.

Very very nice

You can buy the car, but protectionism can hurt the economy. Still it can't hurt the economy as bad as socialism does

2001 Chevy Tahoe Daily
and a 1969 Mustang Boss

Actually most Chevy cars are made in ol' Mexico as well, but their flagship trucks usually at least assemble in the states. Surprisingly enough the most "American made" cars and trucks are Ford and Toyota.

Is it even worth it to drive? I don't even like driving that much. I walk everywhere. You could probably design your whole life without a car if you wanted to. That's what I do right now.

I drive a 2007 ford ranger this utilitarian work truck offers everything I need as a farmer(I can borrow large trucks if I need to) it gets great gas mileage so I don't put too much carbon into the atmosphere and ocean when I can't use my feet or bicycle.

I only buy Japanese and European cars

American cars are designed like shit and they're extremely prone to failure

It also helps that I'm not supporting a bunch of xenophobic, racist knuckle dragging pieces of shit in america

It depends on how much you have to travel and what value you place on your time. Unless you live in the middle of a city and make less than 15k a year, I'd say a car is well worth the price.

Do your research but CR recommended the F-150 truck for the 2016 year. Ford was aggressively discounting them too. Dunno if they're still doing that though.

Supposedly Buicks are now very reliable according to CR. Rest of the Murican fleet is about the same old unreliable trash that I remember it being last time I was in the market for a car.

>Are jeeps trump and pol approved?

Jeeps are for girls.

I live in the suburbs right now so it kinda sucks but I don't make much. I'll probably have to move to the city. Not sure where though. Lots of cities.

Fellow Jeep bro here
>waves in Wrangler

You can get by if you live in a city with mass transit.

Honestly, you should be able to buy a used car with 50k or so miles on it for $6-8k. A loan for that would be $100 a month for five years. The car should last 10 more years at least. By then, you'll be making more money and you can afford to buy a better house.

I'm driving you crazy.

Also, having owned a Dodge Challenger I can say that while it was well made and aesthetically pleasing, and it performed like a champ, it required maintenance that became very expensive with only regular use. Can't speak to the rest of the Dodge/Chrysler fleet but it wouldn't surprise me if they had similar issues

99 gmc sierra. Trucks falling apart, but i love it.

Just bought this beauty

Govornment cars are cheap as fuck and maintained very well mechanically.

I had a new truck but after thinking about how much depreciation and interest I was paying I said fuck it.

Women don't seem to give a fuck what kinda car you drive anyway.

So may as well get a cheap used tank of a car that insurance is cheap on, you can buy it outright, and if you bang it up who cares? Just get another.

Toyota Tundra (built in Kentucky), got an old Ford Bronco I drive ocassionally

Japanese cars - you gotta be careful these days. It ain't the 80s and 90s. Nissan has slid in quality BADLY from what I gather. Honda took a dip in quality too, not sure if they've recovered from it. Toyota is still good, Mazda is still good. Subaru is still good.

German plastic is carefully engineered to last for the term of exactly one lease, and then they're designed to fall apart. Mercedes is a steaming pile of shit, even Chrysler puts out better quality than they do now. BMW is ok - but you better watch yourself after 5 years or so, that's all those cars are designed to last for.

Murican cars, they've gotten somewhat better than they used to be back in the 80s and 90s. But you still have to watch what you buy.

Basically the differences amongst the different carmakers have gotten less in this era.

I drive a Honda Accord, but it was made in the US

fucking brutal

Your jeep is a mall crawler. I bet it's never seen a dirt road you faggot.

I don't give a fuck what some greedy American kikes sell her, they employ Detroit niggers anyways.

Toyota is master race.

stupid bird

Don't ever buy a brand new car unless you are a millionaire

m.youtube.com/watch?v=hgtondzh5l8

There are tons of used cars with a few thousand miles on them that are substantially cheaper and just as brand new as the "brand new" one.

Jeeps are built like shit. My grandmother worked for Chrysler way back when and my grandfather worked for GM. Modern Jeeps are trash and if you think you're being patriotic by buying Murican, you're a fucking autist.

Also, this board is about politics. If you don't want to follow the rules, you can leave or get banned.

Hyundai's have the most fucking problems.

Dave Ramsey is all right in my book

I feel ya. I've had two Toyota's and never had an issue.

>Or a Dodge/Chrysler

You do realize Chrysler, Jeep and Dodge are all one company owned by Fiat now right? Almost all of those are built in Mexico and inspected in Detroit to be up to US regulatory standard.

Before you say something stupid like this again read the white sticker on the inside of the driver side door of your vehicle. On there it'll say where it is built.

>Tesla
The modern day Fisker Karma

Get a VW CC

Assembled in Georgia.

They ship the foreign made parts in knock-down kits and bolt it all together there to avoid taxes. This makes a small handful of Georgian jobs paid $10/hr for low value assembly positions. Big whoop.

Assembled =/= made

The jobs we want in America are the highly paid engineering and component manufacturing jobs.

Fords, Chevys, and even Toyotas use American-made parts. Korean cars use little if any even if they are assembled here and American cars have more even if they are assembled in Mexico.

If you dont drive a top german sedan you canĀ“t consider yourself a white man
prove me wrong
protip you can't

Yeah. I just discovered him for myself and he is spot on with financial advice.

I have a small ford

I'll get a pickup one day

You're a fucking degenerate and need to off yourself

Prove you have a 69 Stang

This

My jeep was built in ohio by mopar. Ya know the dodge/chrysler mopar?

>Over 130k kilometers
you could just say 130 megameters

I owned a 2009 5 series for 7 years and never had any major issues, what I don't like about German cars is the fact that they're so reliant on electronics to get basic shit done like checking the oil levels

I was told by the guys who serviced it that late model BMWs are prone to electrical / electronic failures, you can fuck up important components in the electrical system just by doing simple DIY repairs with your sideview mirrors and other minor stuff, which could lead to not being able to get an oil level reading, which is a huge issue.

Of course you can just take it to the dealer and they charge you out of the ass, which is why I opted for buying Toyota from now own

>driving without a license
>literally $60 for 5 years

The Cruze is exclusively assembled in Lordstown, Ohio.

I drive a Taurus SHO. It's a fucking awesome car. The police in my city and my congressman drive the same car. I drive fast as fuck and never get pulled over. I got pulled over doing 110 in a 75 once and the cop just said nice car and gave me a warning and drove away.

Depends on where you live. If you live in a big city, you could probably get away with loading up Uber on your phone and using that.

But out here? Nope. You want something, you gotta go get it yourself. In the snow, uphill, both ways.

What you drive is nigger cock up your ass, beta.

I have a 302, not a 429 and you get no pictures.
The 400lb hacker Sup Forums will find out who I am.

2012 Toyota Tundra. Built in Kentucky.

Japanese econo cars.

They're as low maintenance as it gets, and fuel efficient.

Dude no...

Made in America is the only way to go. I like my camry

>People ITT unironically believe that they can purchase a vehicle that was manufactured almost entirely in a country that they ethnically self-identify with and that modern cars aren't mass-chimeras of parts sourced from across most of the planet before being assembled in a country that was selected primarily on proximity to the market for that particular vehicle.

Top fucking kek Sup Forums

Keep hanging on to that "muh ayran race" dream because the "muh american/european/asian car" dream is so fucking dead not even jesus could resurrect it.

To go into more detail on this the first digit of the VIN number tells you where it was built.

1 4 or 5 means it was made in the US
2 means Canada
3 means Mexico

Not sure on what the codes are for stuff made in Asia or Europe.

This, police surplus Crown Vics are dank as hell and will pretty much never die if given only the most basic of maintenance. The ones in the police academy I went through were from like the mid 80's and ran great. Smelled weird but ran just fine. This was in 2013

Jap truck, built in texas, presumably by spics. Make of it what you will

Cops are known for treating their vehicles like shit, it's all taxpayer funded anyways

Well in that case, I love my JK too. I got a lift and 35s on it now.

The official car of losers who want a car that is too heavy to be fast.

That's why they sucker you into a larger engine spec.

CVPI's are the ONLY Ford I would get. And only one from 2011-

Not enough leg room.

GODDAMN IT TOYOTA GIVE US FJ70s ALREADY

Land Cruiser?

I remember when it was fucking Daimler Chrysler, faggot.

Not so much that they want to, it's just the nature of a cop's job. Most cop cars spend their life idling, and idling for extended periods is very hard on the engine. They're designed to be driven at highway speeds, that's where they want to live.

It's why they always tell you in the owner's manual (if you don't have one of those sew fawnceh oil ife gauges) to change the oil frequently if you're doing a lot of idling.
