>breaking your ankle
>going to hospital

Just let it heal by itself, kids these days are fucking pussies.

We don't. It's bullshit. We're getting raped.

I blame the FDA, patent law, and frivolous malpractice lawsuits.

By not dying before you finally get treatment

>not having health insurance

>the free market will fix it

You're right. We should all chip in and help this nigger pay for his own god damn bills. I mean, we all told him to jump from that second story ledge into that kiddie pool so we're all responsible when he does some retarded shit and fucks his own shit up.

Can't believe health insurance and showing and ID isn't mandatory there. Fucking third world shithole

That's actually what happens when corporations are allowed to write the laws that govern themselves

You know we don't actually pay all that, right? Just got a bill for 2800 bucks. Paid $3.80.

i cutty you open is expensive, shit.

Maybe that works when you have Abbo witch doctor magic but for people who don't "root" dingos all day we need western medical care.

Also this doesn't look official at all. Last time I was in the hospital the charges were 5 pages long and looked like a bill. This looks like dude printed it out. Don't doubt prices tho. Without insurance I would have paid 65k formless than 24 hours in the hospital.

Medicare made this whole shitty situation what it is. The government "insurance" has all sorts of price controls so the hospital HAS to charge you what it charges Medicare while Medicare only pays around 80 percent of what's on the bill

While Medicare goes back through cases and retroactively denies charges of it turns out the doctor was in any way wrong even if he couldn't have known.

For example leaf: if your abuela had breathing issues and went to the ER the doctor would start treating and attempting a confirmation for diagnosis. If after the fact Medicare finds out anything ordered wasn't correct for the eventual diagnoses the doctor either doesn't get paid or gets his next Medicare reimbursement docked while private investigators pile through case logs on the backend because they get a cut out of the denied coverage.

Hospitals weren't that bad before the war on /______/ bullshit that spawned Medicare. (((The socialist powers that be))) wanted Medicaid for everyone since they couldn't get an NHS style system.

Then who pays the rest?

You cropped out the part where my insurance pays for the entire thing

How are you going to stop corporations from writing laws? By writing laws preventing corporations from writing laws?

>don't have insurance
>hurt self
>"whoa, how ever could I see this coming?"

That aside, the US system isn't defended by many Americans, and it's not defended by free-market economists, because it's not a free market system.

If you have insurance they'll pay if you're in network.

If you have Medicare the government pays if they feel like it, they deny a lot of claims erroneously

If you don't have insurance you go to the hospital business office and attempt to negotiate a payment plan or charitable forgiveness.

Because it keeps us safe from communism and socialism and all those other things republicans told me to be afraid of

Illegal to not have insurance Obama said so, fuck that guy.

Leaf slide thread. Basic garbage arguing point. Basic faked bill.

Sage and ignore.

This is the correct answer.

emergency room is a con.

USE URGENT CARE!!!

urgent care is how emergency medicine should be done.

>implying the free market includes multinational corporations lining pockets of lawmakers for competition controls

I would tell you to kill yourself, but it seems you are doing a great job at that. Keep it up

>How do Americans defend this?
It's vitally important for doctor and hospital corporations to meet profit goals and for shareholders to maximize their dividends.

And some fucking thing about some idiot's ankle.

Because Americans have been tricked by insurance Jews into thinking free healthcare is socialism

>Go to hospital
>Give a fake name and fake address
>Don't have to pay

...

>all this for a broken ankle

>It is vitally important we line the pockets of doctors for being doctors and make sure CEOs earn lots of shekels at the expense of the average American not earning 300k a year

Cuck.

>implying free market won't lead to the formation of multinational corporations that destroy the competition with all means possible eventually

>because it's not a free market system.
We've had a number of criminal enterprises make their fortunes rent-seeking and bilking the system. One such criminal was Rick Scott, current governor of Florida, who used the proceeds of his ill-gotten gains to get elected.

Why would the GOP allow such a brazen criminal to represents them? Because he really represents them

Just die, it's cheaper

This is the exact reason medical bills are so large. Hospitals charge immense amounts for necesarry procedures, because they know insurance will cover it. However, now that insurance is ruined due to Obamacare and Jewish insurance companies, the common man has to foot the bill. Similar situation for the cost of college.

We don't. Nobody here likes how expensive medical care is.

>Cuck.
I was being sarcastic. This is how American health care looks at patients, like they are hindrances to more and more profits.

Seems like the insurances and the government should be heavily interested in lowering the costs. Aren't there any lobbyists fighting in favor of the insurances against the hospitals? At least that's what they are doing here.

>How do Americans defend this?
by having insurance, which this short-sighted chucklefuck clearly didn't have.

You don't want to pay $80k for a trip to the emergency room, x-ray, bed, pills, rehabilitation, and surgery?

Then pay $150 a month for health insurance, you stupid nigger.

they're trying to do this by dumping more regulations on MDs and hospitals..

>it's quite sickening really...

cms.gov/Medicare/Provider-Enrollment-and-Certification/CertificationandComplianc/index.html

Pretty much this.

> 1. Drink some booze to kill pain, distract from shame of being dumb enoigh to break your ankle.
> 2. Set broken ankle into similar position as functional non-broken ankle
> 3. Drink more booze (next steps may hurt)
> 4. In the event of compound fracture. Attempt to push broken bone shard back into place. In the event of an extreme fracture, use a barbell or other weighted object to force bone partition imto place.
> 5. Drink more if you are a pussy and can't handle the pain of being a man.
> 6. Gently blow off the remaining bone fragments or blood.
> 7. Crack open a bullet and sprinkle gun powder over the wound
> 8. Apply a flame to the gunpowder to cauterize.
> 9. It acceptible to drink more after that step. Civil war style..
> 10.. Remove elastic from the waistband of your underwear and wrap it around the fractured ankle to ensure that the pieces are secured in place.
> 11. Create a paper mache mold of what you believe your ankle area is shaped like.
> 12. If you are impatient, use a hair dryer to speed up the casting process.
> * in the even that no hair dryer is available, kick in the front panel of a microwave, set the heat to high and bake your cast for 4 minutes.

There, I just saved you about $40k or whatever you paid some bozo to do to you, what you totally could have done for yourself if you were not a weak ass faggot without imagination.

You forgot the last step:
>13. spend the rest of your life with a limp, because your broken bone healed the wrong way.

>There, I just saved you about $40k
You also cooked my foot and gave me cancer.

> 11. Create a paper mache mold of what you believe your ankle area is shaped like.

> 11. Create a paper mache mold of what you believe your ankle area is shaped like.

Autism, the post.

More regulations are fine in this aspect since you can't choose your hospital in case of an emergency (which in turn is mandatory for a free market to function). So there are regulations which are neither mandatory nor strictly controlled. It seems like the health department needs more funds and rights to intervene for enabling them to actually negotiate.
>please hospitals, sign or completely voluntary contract, we don't have the resources to control your part of the contract anyway.
No wonder Obamacare didn't work.

>
If you have Medicare the government pays if they feel like it, they deny a lot of claims erroneously

Wrong, fucko. Hospitals will purposely use more procedures as necessary to pad their bill, as well as massively overcharge for them. They do this, not because they're being greedy fucks, but because they HAVE to high ball in order to give themselves leverage when negotiating with insurance companies. So when the government gets involved, it's wise to this practice, and pays much closer to what the procedure actually costs and cuts out the bullshit.

Take an insurance, you dumb fuck.

I believe in freedom, so if you DON'T WANT ONE, you should have this possibility.
But it's a stupid choice.

I lived in a lot of places, and living without an insurance is taking a risk of ruining your life financially at any moment.

deport spics
ban fat people and smokers from getting any medical treatment

they allowed the glorified veterinarians lobby their way into high barrier of entry profession monopoly that's in bed with the government and insurance companies to fuck them out of their monies

guess what would happen to them in a free market

good goy, monopolies are (((good for you))), single payer healthcare is (((good for you)))

>a single payer system will fix this! there's no way the medical industry will take advantage of a completely subsidized system, and will charge it double what it's charging people who can't/won't pay the current bills in their entirety!

I am not questioning that the system is fucked, I am saying that as an individual, you should take an insurance if you don't want to get fucked by bad luck.

>Healthcare prices are expensive
>Obama focusses on Social security net
>Doesnt bother tackling healthcare prices
>Due to Social security network + healthcare prices Obamacare is unsustainable in the long track
>People flip out when Trump wants to replace it

Why do you think Trump wanted to replace Obamacare? It didnt help the healthcare prices, it Just moved the costs of it from those who cant afford it to those who can barely avoid it

As a european, US social healthcare is possible, but only After healthcare prices are lowered and 70% of the population works in private sector (generating tax)

If you contract a cancer from microwaving your own foot in a microwave, just find another microwave and administer discount chemotherapy.

If you are paranoid about the cancer recuring, drink some booze before hand and cut off the pieces that look abnormally white or cancerous. Replace missing flesh with game meat or something. If you are on a budget, use dental floss. If you are a man, bind it with staples, nails or something else aesthetically badass.

>abuela

WALL

By getting rid of government, you retard.

that's kinda hard when there's no opting out of the communist insurance

Some things of social state are great, for example free healthcare and education, but you can't let leftists get their hands on this agenda as they ruin everything

By it not taking several months to get it.

If your bone is split and you have fragments , letting it heal wont do shit dumb nig.

...

Don't other countries with single payer have lower costs than us?

I've also heard this is a big reason especially malpractice suits

"""""""""""free"""""""""" healthcare is anything but, you'll see once you have a non-emergency condition both diagnostic and treatment wise it'll be subpar guaranteed; also a breeding ground for graft, trade union strongarming of the taxpayer and cushy corruprion deals for supplies because lol state budget is paying
"""""""""""free"""""""""" compulsory education is used as means of indoctrination and a way to legitimize the mob rule aka democracy; it breeds armies of useless government workers=teachers living at taxpayer's exepense, voting communist options because they would have a really hard time surviving in the free market

I literally broke my foot 6 months ago. I costed me exactly 500 bucks.

Feels good not living in a cucked country.

Our education has strong apolitical agenda and mainly the technical universities are still untouched with all that marxist agenda.
And our healthcare is fine, despise the corruption. I had non-emergency condition, yes it was pain in the ass in my hometown as the doctors there are fucking ukranians but guess what, as taxpayer I'm able to go to any doctor I want so I found another one in the next town and my diagnosis was quick and doctors we're polite and professional
Not everything "free" is bad you can't be paranoid to see jew of leftist behind every tree, our state was founded on these social(not socialist) pilars and I'm glad for it

That's not a broken ankle it's clearly a surgical procedure

Canadian care is similar but your government pays as the insurer Americans have private insurers

If he isn't a poor fag and has a job he'd pay at most 2k out of poker for all that

Yeah we don't have a free market in healthcare

Kike lawyers.
If the risk of being sued for unbelievable amounts of money weren't so high (because of Kike lawyers) hospitals wouldn't have to pay so goddamn much money for insurance (also mostly controlled by kikes) and therefore charge so goddamn much to the patients.

>Broke my ankle 7 weeks ago
>Go to ER
>Get my ankle set, put in walking boot
>Get bill for $4000
>Have insurance, pay my copay
>$250
Get insurance you fucking retard
(Pic related, my ankle)

free market fixes everything
free market does not make you buy into anything you don't want
free market provides the most affordable option because there is real price discovery
free market ensures there's competition and keeps everyone doing their best
free market values you as a customer, monopolies treat you like shit for the powerless user that you are to them
my gross earnings are mine, not for the state to expropriate a big chunk out of

>Don't other countries with single payer have lower costs than us?

Other countries that have single payer systems have people who actually take care of themselves. The pharmaceutical industry and general medical industry aren't nearly as predatorial. Frivolous lawsuits are a lot less likely to occur. Etc., etc,,

People who bring up "well it works in country X" are ignoring an insane amount of nuance.

>Other countries that have single payer systems have people who actually take care of themselves
nah m9, it's nothing but an excuse to jack up sin taxes and spend shitloads of expropriated money on "awareness campaigns"
we do tend to walk instead of driving in the old world tho

>be NEET
>never leave house
>never break my bones
>never need to go to hospital

the "never leaving your house makes you a complete loser who should hate yourself" meme was pushed by jewish doctors to make sure you goyim hurt yourselves and need expensive medical attention.

Nice uto piano dream you have there but it's based in ignorance of human factors.

Why are Americans so against universal healthcare?

Seems to me the whole system they have right now is a complicated mess

Retarded

spend the rest of your life with a limp, because the doctor set your broken bone incorrectly and it healed the wrong way and ya still pay 40K!

reality checked that for you Lesser Mexico

The point is, it needs to be rebuilt from the ground up, in order to properly be paid for under a single payer system. You can't just throw a completely broken system into your extensive list of 'things to pay'.

Where do your living money comes from?

If it was possible to rebuild the system from the ground up would you be in support of universal heatlhcare? would most Americans?

>Seems to me the whole system they have right now is a complicated mess

It is. (((They))) the medical industrial complex wants to finish sucking the wealth from middle america and this is their tool.

right, you probably even believe in PAYG pension ponzi scheme

They scream free market and say we are the land of capitalism but put regulations on weed, assassinate holistic doctors, and won't let you get meds from Canada. Free market my ass, shit's rigged market to kike you along the way. This isn't capitalism this is fucked up

You still pay like 3 grand of it though. My kid had a CT scan done and it cost $1500 after insurance. Granted my insurance sucks, but I still pay $450 a month for it.

They need to stop one system in 3 years while they start another.

It's really tough to say, personally speaking. I'm AnCap leaning, but if we're really approaching this from the statist "healthcare is a right" viewpoint, it would have to be severely scrutinized by the state, and the scrutiny would have to be publicly audited to prevent monied malfeasance from creeping in, during the rebuilding process and also during the execution process.

Almost like "Open Source" policy, with regard to the matter, and development of the system.

Yeah I get that. I do view healthcare as a right but it makes sense to take alot of care with government intervention in anything.

As someone who is AnCap leaning, what is your opinion on other government controlled public services currently running in the States, Fire Depts etc?

by burning off your fingerprints and living in the woods. (((they))) are afraid of nature

I guess all that "free" healthcare that every nigger, beaner and other mud race and undermensch get isn't "free" now is it?

Still think that "Diversity Is Our Strength" (TM)? Still think you're really paying 1$ a pound for those strawberries?

Somethings are "necessary evils", I suppose?

But still, is it right to tax the public when a crackhead overdoses and knocks over a candle, and ~10 firetrucks show up?

>broke ankle during vacation in romania
>romania is in EU so nothing to worry about
>visit hospital
>show them by EU-wide insurance card
>they fix it and give me some papers for docs in germany
>fly back to germany
>pay nothing for hospital

such is life in a first world continent

They will defend it and rationalise it because it is how AMERICA DOES IT and that's that

i have a real job that gives me insurance.

Or, we could provide adequate and affordable health care to our citizens so they don't have to pay $80,000 just to have their ankle worked on.

>aw shit, bro, you're $80k in debt after that car accident
>should've just walked it off, m8

Don't you dingo faggots have socialized health care? What the fuck are you even complaining about?

Oh yeah because it's not like we already pay the most per capita for healthcare...

>tfw when leaving EU

They don't defend it, they just get cucked by their own government like good goys
