Communism is the next stage of humanity following the capitalist stage.
What exactly is communism according to Marxist-Leninists:

Allende, from Chile, was a complete disaster. The working class didn't love him, they hated him. Real wages went down from a 100% by the start of his government to a 33% to his end. Source: Macroeconomic Populism in Latin America, Edwards Besides, the country was on the verge of a civil war, with left wing terrorists killing and bombing to achieve their supposed revolution. I'm honestly glad Pinochet's government killed those parasites. Another fun fact, by the end of Pinochet's government, Chile has the least poverty out of any other Latin American country except for Argentina. Today they have even surpassed Argentina by sustaining the economic model used by Pinochet.

Socialist redistribution could achieve directly what would otherwise take the better part of a working lifetime. With socialism the employee can have her cake and eat it too. She gets a once and for all rise in income through redistribution, but economic growth does not stop, so she will continue to enjoy rising earnings year by year.
