Do some of you Sup Forumsros just get the sense that something is...weird?
I'm 19, and only started to get into politics a couple years ago - I started out reading about the Arab Spring and from their just kinda got more and more into it.
Still, I feel like I don't know anything at all, I feel like there is just toooo much information coming in a once but in that noise of bullshit memes like harambe or news outlets all trying to spread their agendas not understand whose lying and whose not something seems... off
Does anyone else feel like this?

no
you're just a teenager who doesn't really know anything about the real world but you've read a few wikipedia articles or whatever and think you've got some special unique insight and everyone else is "sheeple" or whatever
you'll fit in well on this board

That's exactly my point though. What don't I know about the real world? When exactly o I get the handbook on what the fuck is going on.

you hafta write it yourself
it's only finished at the moment you die

Lmaoooo

heh

All part of the plan. Bombard the people with so much information that no one knows what to believe, in order to demoralize them.

I feel it. We're feeling the prelude to the next world altering, era-defining event, good or bad. Likely bad. "History doesn't repeat, but it does rhyme".

But that's not what I mean right, I get that day to day shit you have to make up as you go along - but I have to pay taxes, and I have to fight for my country if my country goes to war, and I have to live in my city even if it goes to shit.
So in that sense it matters to me what is going on the wider world whether I like it or not
But what exactly is going on
Are we on the brink of war with Russia?
Are we going to be part of race war?
Is Donald Trump a modern day Hitler?
These aren't just silly questions that we can have bullshit arguments about on the internet, they are that, but also they do matter.

The best way to look at politics is to take it from the ground up.

What I mean by that is, read (or listen to audiobooks). Start with the things that define western renaissance civilization. Plato, Aristotle, Socrates etc etc

Expose yourself to some basic mathematics as well. Mathematics and Philosophy are deeply intertwined in a very special relationship that you won't find in many other places.

Also expose yourself to things from more recent history. The writings and essays of classical liberals are good. Thomas Paine, Thomas Jefferson, Lord Hume, John Locke etc etc

Expose yourself to some economics. I personally enjoy Milton Friedman and Murray Rothbard. They're good places to go.

Also expose yourself to things like the Gulag Archipelago.

The farther up the pyramid you get, the more the fuzziness you are describing will come into focus. It's very difficult to appreciate the evil of socialism until you know what it is, how it violates the human rights of the people trapped within it, and how most of it's internal maxims are predicated upon lies.

Contemporary politics and events are shit. They change week to week. If you really want to throw your intellectual weight a lot, go for the deep game. Study history. Politics through deep time. And most importantly - honestly examine western enlightenment civilization and decide independently for yourself if it is worth fighting for once you have come to know what other systems are competing against it.

I mean I started getting into politics at 18, back when i was a libshit. But after seeing obama fail to do anything he said he would, and fuck up the country in the process. I was redpilled.
T. Live too close to Chicago and believed the dindu's lies for too long.

nice response mate

This, GTFO OP

Just keep reading more and learn more. You'll get wiser as you get older

THIS - THIS is what I'm getting at.
Like I don't think I'm smart enough to do the long process of going through that, I've started, but it's taking so long. I've after 2 years only just realised how fucked socialism is.
Like, do people not realise how similar we are now to Nazi Germany or Socialist Russia? Not in the Donald Trump sense just the Socaialist, double think, Group think mentallity.
Like what am I missing?
All I said at the start of this thread was something seems off and people responded in a way which makes it seem like I legitmately triggered them.
What kind of conditioning is that? Is that not strange?

Fpbp, this describes this place fairly well.

I am starting to feel weird but not sure if its because I've seen threads like this so much lately?
If something is repeated often enough, people start to believe it

>All I said at the start of this thread was something seems off and people responded in a way which makes it seem like I legitmately triggered them.
You said Sup Forumsros.
Please go back to your rekt and Trap threads you degenerate Sup Forumstard.

...

I recommend you to keep lurking a bit on this threads of Sup Forums, they are quite eye opening and makes you start thinking and investigating things you didn't even know they existed before. And as days pass, you will conprehend how biased and rigged almost every mainstream site is in favour of the far left in general, and get to know who controls that. At least the old pol, now we are getting full of shills and retards
(note:We are not the same retards of /b /)

Well it's really a life-long process, man. You can't come out of the gate and be a juggernaut overnight. A lot of being intelligent is simply bothering to learn the things that previous generations have figured out. It has nothing to do with you being just a snappy witty guy who knows all of this automatically.

I'm 26 years old and I've been taking responsibility for my education since I was like maybe 15 or 16. It's not something you do in 3 years and then have forever. It's a pyramid you should be building until the day you die.

Just by simply loving knowledge, and learning, and the intellectual legacy of your people, you will gradually begin to stratify yourself to higher levels than most of the other people around you who are still intellectually asleep.

And most importantly, never start assuming you know everything. Arrogance and hubris are the things that cause the pyramid to implode.

>At least the old pol, now we are getting full of shills and retards
The latter applies to OP.

Here's a big shortcut for you, it's the jews.

awww babby's first redpill

Relax dude.
But what's the point if I can't effect any change? You're 25 and you see how bullshit it all is but do see it getting better or worse with time?
I've already realised that, but with that came a sort of realisation that the main popular opposition to far left media, right wing media, want's the same thing
Globalism and National Socialism are all the same things really, still both socialism
But, like you said, I don't want to be arrogant.

So what am I missing?
It seems like the world is crashing, just look at the cataloge:
Stocks are poised to crash
Russia and the US are flexing against each other
'Liberals' and 'Conservatives' are both, ironically, fighting over the control of the people
People are turning a blind eye to Pizzagate which bullshit or not should at least be investigated

So what am I missing? Why are you so calm? Where are our modern day Plato's and Thomas Jeffersons, and John Locke's?

And how is the world not as bad as it seems?

...

Yes; this is what happens when you gather thousands of people to pray to an Egyptian God of chaos.

Fair enough I could just focus on my work, live and die, and not care about any of this stuff - whether or not there is any kind of 'conspiracy' working against the interests of the common people - and people do that all the time. So even if there is 'something' going on, what does it matter, right?
But are you all content with that? Content with knowing that there's a chance that you might not only be ignorant, but there might be forces at work who have a vested interest in keeping you ignorant.

Well mainly the benefit that i've taken is that it has invigorated me to be responsible for my own destiny. I own and operate a small business that allows me to live comfortably, and explore hobbies that interest me. Most of my peers are complete derelicts, they're straddled with insurmountably large sums of student debt, they're miserable etc etc

Also we are living during a time of flux. A lot of social paradigms are changing. It's hard to predict where things are going, exactly. But one thing you have to understand is that in all systems that enslave humans, the thing they all rely upon is deception. Either outright lies, or conventional wisdom that is false.

By educating yourself, and by trying to educate the people around you, you are helping to deconstruct the control grid and give humans a quantifiably better chance at building a society that rewards the pursuit of individual life, liberty, and happiness.

lol

this entire post could be rephrased as "ignorance is bliss"

There's no real conspiracy. The "globalists" are only trying to manage the end of unipolar American power, the rise of China/India, the rise of other emerging markets, the lessening importance of Europe etc. in a way that won't lead to a third world war

>I feel like there is just toooo much information coming in a once

Imagine if there were industries specifically designed to distract people and make them take time away from these issues, and to profit while doing so!

>back when i was a libshit

everyone starts out as a libshit given today's media and ((((school system)))

taking selfies is weird

Lol holy shit you're actually so oblivious and naive that you don't even have an idea about how you could start understanding the world around you.

Like nigga read some fucking history books. Learn about Western Civilization, from the Egyptians to the Greeks to the Romans to the British to the Americans. That is the unbroken chain of Western civilization.

There is no "objective" sense of "what is going on", which is incredibly poorly defined to begin with. If you don't even know what you want to know, then you are helpless.

>Guise what if something is happening.

And I thought I reached that point, realising that getting mad over politics or over TV shows or other meaningless shit is pointless since we are the ones who give our lives meaning etc etc. and yeah I figured that even if there is a 'conspiracy' it's probably not one that's like kill all black people it's probably something like this
That being said, I still can't shake the idea that something is up

Why are the 'Globalists' so interested in pitting black people agaist white people by funding groups like Black Lives Matter and making movies like Get Out? Like no body wants a race war right, so I should just mind my own business and things will sort it self out.
But they clearly haven't been sorting themselves out.

Yeah I should just read about 2000 years of history, and that's a totally reasonable thing to do.
