I had a leaflet around today for the Labour candidate for the upcoming May County Council elections. My local Councillor is an independent, and I am actually related to her, but this Labour lad seems to actual care about relevant L O C A L issues, instead of just being a socialist faggot, even though he's only about 25 or so.
Not seen the Tory candidate, yet, but the county is dominated by independents and Labour anyway.

Honesly fuck uni group work. I was put with a bunch of foreigners and gave one girl (some sort of arab) the task of designing a custom desalination system for a hypothetical yacht. She had 10 weeks. She had the help of the whole group. When it came to the presentation she basically just proposed an off-the-shelf unit which weighed 7x as much as she was allowed.....
