If you punched a hole in a wall, just spackling won't cut it. You need to put a wire mesh/screen inside the wall, pull it flush with fishing line, spackle it, pull out the line gently, sand, and then paint.
Already patched it up, just waiting for it to dry so I can sand it this evening and see if in the next week or so I can get to a Lowes or Homedepot and get a paint sample boot thing and try to match the paint.
