6.5KM TO THE WATER TREATMENT PLANT
Aaron King
Look like the older T-90 with the cast turret. Don't think I have seen a T-90A yet. Any idea why those specific tanks? Are they worth less than the T-72b3?
Adam Reed
I like how Palmyra took forever to reach but was liberated within a few days of reaching it. Well done SAA.
Owen Brown
Oh man I love me some kilomemes
Brayden Lewis
Intriguing.
Justin Walker
Sweet
Cameron Russell
Now 5 km to the water treatment plant. They are hauling ass with little resistance.
Nolan Campbell
what?!
it was 17 kilomemes two days ago!
Alexander Sanchez
>Any idea why those specific tanks No idea at all m8, i can just assume that they matched price/quality ratio that joint pro syrian forces require at the moment.
Wyatt Mitchell
reminder treatment plant tomorrow goys
William Foster
this is what it means to make /sg/ great again

Jirah Airbase is under siege or ?
Anthony Turner
Not yet.
Nathaniel Diaz
Hail Assad
Christian Perry
Probably Tuesday or something
Ethan Torres
So. You have T90 battalion. What would you do?
Juan Richardson
nah I meant ,is it under SAA control and under siege by ISIS like Deir Ezzor ,since it in red color
Daniel Hall
No, SAA was forced to abandon it.
Josiah Reed
Nah, all airbases look that way
Josiah Scott
Nope, under ISIS control, it is red because it is important infrastructure also a note: there is one more hour of light before night today. will the tiger forces make it to the treatment plant before then?
Jace Collins
I bet T-90s are for Idlib offensive
Dominic Gomez
Why doesn't Assad capture Qaboon? It's a tiny pocket, but he just keeps on bombing it from time to time without any ground action.
Henry Davis
Raqqa?
Nicholas Stewart
>No idea at all m8, i can just assume that they matched price/quality ratio that joint pro syrian forces require at the moment. Having a look at the specs it makes sense. T-72B3 has newer electronics but less protection. The old T-90 had it's cast turret that was similar to T-80U, made in Ukraine but only basic electronic systems, looks like there was only around 100 of them. I guess the SAA don't fight at night or against modern tanks, so the thermal vision and advanced features on the T-72b3 and T-90A would be a waste.
Bentley Lopez
Id love them to be used for more ISIS landgrab. Go full speed east Aleppo until you hit a brick wall then think about Idlib.
James Cooper
I think Assad/Russia plans to let Kurds take Raqqa and afterwards try to work something out with them
Chase Howard
More likely to clear the land between Deir Hafer and Palmyra.
>How's the pilot situation He is in turkish hospital >In general how is the replacement ratio in the Syrian AF Close to zero, we shiped them some su24 like year or half a year ago but thats all, i used to remember exact number but i forgot now. >What does the Navy do atm? Half of the marines are just Lakatia garrison. Syrian navy helicopters were seen droping barrelboms all over Syria, even in Daara. And we annexed some of their transport ships for the "Syrian express" because moving ammo n goods on the russian "Landing ships" is pretty retarded tbqh.
Urban territory, dug-in terrorists. Trying to take it with regular SAA forces would end in failure, or at the very least cost massive casualties.
The major offensives are mostly carried out by a small number of elite units like the Tiger Forces, Desert Hawks and Republican Guard. Most of the frontlines are manned by shitty third-rate troops, and only hold at all because the opposition is equally shitty.
Henry Wilson
>Nice ,didnt know Ivan was such an expert in making kebeb New liberations per second record for RuAF.
Pilot achieved rank of "Russian warlord".
Luke Morris
Very much, first he made many documentary trips in Russia/Central Asia/Caucasus which were 5/5. But now he makes entertainment programs rather than documents. Wish he'd do a doc on Karelia
Read the Wikipedia article phamalam. They don't consider themselves twelvers, but it doesn't matter really as alawites have no religious rituals (at least not since hafez) and their doctrines are secret and to esoteric for the layman to understand. The average alawite might as well be an atheist. Alawites religious sect in name only.
Kayden Clark
>Reports on Mosul in syria thread
Isaiah Harris
Fuck me >to esoteric Too esoteric >alawites religious sect Alawites are a religious sect
If only Tiger had thermals they could do night ops.

Isaiah Watson
apparently yeah, no casualties tho The source that confirmed it is some turkish journalist who reported on it after only a few hours so I personally doubt it really happened
Jace Sullivan
We don't know. Some roach posted info on his TT account that it was, but I call bullshit. Come on, after 6 hours?
@Syria_Protector map updated, #SAA ~ 6 km to the water pumping station, 5 km to Al-Jarrah airbase.. Ongoing advances.
Ongoing advances.
Samuel Reed

Palmyra was retaken and then reliberated from IS, east Aleppo is rapidly falling, Manbij is being returned to Assad's control. Donald Trump is President of the United States. Mosul is nearly back in Iraqi hands. Infighting among rebel factions in Idlib is causing heavy casualties with Liwa al Aqsa joining ISIS.
