I know this is not /auto/ but there is a lot more people from around the world here

I know this is not /auto/ but there is a lot more people from around the world here.
How expensive are cars in your country?
Here cars are as expensive as they are in China and there is no leasing.
>Payed $12.000 for a 96' Merc E320 that looks and drives brand new

For 12.000 euro I can buy a really nice bmw 320 2013

A 2017 E320 goes for $49,000 here in Murica.

And you can lease it, which is nice, damn I would have a new C-Class if I could get your prices and 3 year leasing

leasing cars are for niggers, theres too many regulations on leasing a car. I just get a loan from the bank and skip all that financing/leasing bullshit, they jew you on the interest rates.

>buying a bmw with less than 6 cylinders

Here a new E Class is around $70.000 totally demential compared to the US price. And getting a loan for the car will almost get you to the 6 digits

>PA2006

Doxxed :^)

I bought a brand new VW for 20k

that mercedes series has got the worst rust protection, you should have bought a older or newer one.

Working on it right now

>inb4 poorfags talking shit because I bought a new car

$15- $20k for barebones new car

$20- $30k for average car

$30k- $40k nice small car or ok big car

Everything after that is either an overpriced truck or a luxury car

Got it rust proof with a treatment, also there is no salt on the streets here because it never snows so it's pretty much alright, got rid of a little bit of rust under a door and it now looks new

go a decade back and get the 300 turbodiesel or the 240D sedan or wagon. Those still look classy as fuck, drive nicely, and just won't die.

I am a year and a half into my lease on a '16 C300. It's a beautiful car but if you wait like 2 or 3 years to buy one they'll be mad cheap

More or less same price here for a VW

400 dollar civic, drives like a golf cart but does 120 mph easy...
Fuck your 12 thousand dollar honda knock off that drives like shit.

It's $12,000.
. is a full stop.

>ricers

really? $400?

Does it have an engine?

Transmission was shot, 200$ for new one

Road tax is so high here if someone offered me a car worth 5k euro's for free I would reject the offer.

Buying a car is all about navigating the tax system.
Sometimes a $40.000 car is cheaper to own than a $20.000 car.

>$12,000 on a second hand car

Bro I drive a jag and it was barely more than a grand £

Don't waste money on the motorised jew

Yeah idk if you realise or not, but Europe is set up for the average working man to not have luxuries, like a socialist society.
In America you can save for 4 years and buy a GTR and pay the same price (road tax) as someone who drives a civic.

>bro...

Disregarded

Cars are as expensive as they are in China, I was going for a Jag on the same price but it's hard to get parts if something goes wrong

Overpriced and they devalue at the highest rate in the world.

Examples

1990 Non Turbo Automatic Toyota Supra- $12,000 USD

2000 Mitsubishi Evo Turbo Manual- $19,000 USD

aren't E class Mercs basically an S class? which is supremely superior than a C class?

That is a tight fit.

>400 dollar
the fuck

I have a lease on one of these for 270 a month

>Looks and drives brand new

Is that considered new in Chile?

Yeah, but my E class is 20 years old

2k at least for a truck. You can find beater cars for as little as five hundred.

so $600 civic + 10 hours of work?

I won't tell you because you would die from asphyxiation from gasping when you hear our automobile prices.

That sounds pretty expensive actually. I don't think a 96' is a particularly valuable Mercedes

Still worth it, it's my first car, it turns head around here and I love it

I've sat in a newer C class and been in an older E class
the E class is much better, unless you can afford a new S class

Enjoy your import taxes

lmao you can buy that shit for 1000 euros here

Keeping it then, I'm not planning to sell it until I can buy a newer E class or an S class

yea on parts and with a corpse in the trunk

Can't import used cars here anyways

You can get that piece of shit for 3k. Are you out of your mind?

only albanians drive that-

Tell us Thor

These cars are scrap metal here.

very cheap, you can go to the machine shop and ask them to make you a car for $2000 while most jap cars cost 14-20 thousand bucks.

>civic with a body kit
>120
Sure, I bet you get 20 extra hp because of your fartcan

Well, in supposedly socialist expensive hellhole Sweden the cost of a Toyota Corolla would be approximately $20 000 USD. Expensive, right? Well, in Norway the same car would cost almost $35 000 USD! Not even including the much higher annual car taxes, hugely expensive tolls, parking that costs more than hotel rooms, vehicle registration fees etc...

Toyota Corolla 1.6l 97kW Comfort, btw.

Pic related cost me barely $1,600 to insure, buy, and get all the legal documents finished to drive it

That car is 3rd world AF famalam

Your government hates you or you get paid a shit ton of money for doing very little

nah man, my dad bought the same thing for 1000 euros from some guy in PERNIK, just needed an oil change

That car here is anywhere from 800 to 2300 USD. I am in central Florida.

Government hates us. We have about 29% higher wages in Norway. But it is not enough to have higher purchasing power than Sweden. In fact Sweden has 1.95% higher purchasing power than us.

Damn that sounds a little low... how much did you put down?

Only tax I pay on my car is the excise tax on gas.

I wish there were more taxes on cars to be honest. Then we could afford better roads and have less deadbeats clogging them up with their sub-100kW shit.

Parking in midtown Tallinn is fucking expensive tho. €4.60/h. City hall raises it every time the mayor can't find a parking space.

kek. Can't find a parking space? Do what the americans do about that.

not for long

>800 dollars for that condition

Please sir come with me. The gas chambers are this way.

I'm about to drop 10k on a cobra mustang 2007

Shit, get a turbo kit and a manifold and you'll have a very quick car in a straight line.

England here 1200 sterling for 03 corsa but damn things built like a tank

You don't even try. Let me show you.

The cheapest: Honda Civic 2017 2.0 Sport Manual: R$ 87.900 reais (28.208 USD).
The "complete" edition: Honda Civic 2017 Touring 1.5 Turbo CVT: R$ 124.900 reais (40.082 USD).

Civic here in Brazil is a luxury car, only rich people can buy one of this. Another example: 2017 Camaro Coupe. Brazilian price: 305.000 brl (97.878 USD).

$12,000 USD in US would be high.

If you got a diesel I'd suggest doing a "valve adjustment".

how the fuck is this Sup Forums related?

>motorised Jew
I kek'd.

>Vauxhall built like a tank

Sir have you ever experienced a pummelling because you're due one

Cars are expensive here. My mom bought a used 2000 Chevy Suburban for $6000 with 150k on the odometer.

While some of the laws obviously make no sense i dont follow your argument entirely.

It makes sense to tax polluting cars more than others.

Slide thread. Go to Sup Forums this is not politics related

~$1,500

It's fucking sad.

Worst decade for Mercedes ever. I hope they put a new wiring harness on it.

OP got jewed out of his hard earned cash

E is in between C and S.

Depending on what youre looking for it can make more sense to buy a high-spec C over a low-spec E. Also the C is more agile and fun to drive.

Not everyone wants a limo and drives 50.000km a year.

I don't know much about cars, but people usually pay around 30-50k USD for a regular car. Teslas are getting really popular these days though, and they're usually like twice the price of a normal car

Slutt å kverulere, Per-Göran.

TOOT TOOT

MOST REDPILLED CAR COMING THROUGH

> machine shop
> make you a car

Wat

Second hand luxury cars are generally quite cheap here since there is no market. People with money don't want second hand old cars and people without money can't afford the parts and maintenance.

Lots of young men buy them then discover they are money pits and get rid of them.

I paid 25k for my used car. Its a Lincoln navigator though. Paid 8k for my 04 BMW m3 that's my back and forth to work car.

Does your government supports cars like tesla and bmw i3? I have read some news about, incluinding lower taxes, etc.

>DIEsel

Czech-user is probably drunk

Yes lad, Ford Ka is best car

4k, but I have good credit and it was a special winter event

that's not twingo

Niggers aren't welcome here didn't you read the signs

A new car is a bad investment though, buying a high quality used car is the way to go.

>not having your cars machined to order

m8.

What model is that, I dig it

I make €60,000 a year and cycle a bike. I get a taxi whenever I feel like it and save he rest.

20 minute cycle to and from work. I'm not paying insurance. It's a scam. I don't believe in any kind of insurance.

>not riding a motorcycle
>not going fast
>not cutting off carcucks in traffic
>not making panties wet

when will carfags learn?

>not leasing japanese luxury
>lexus literally proven to last 1 million miles
>0-60 4.9 secs at BEST according to zeroto60times
>beats shit-tier german (((engineering)))

what's Sup Forums's excuse for not getting one? also, under 30k. BTFO

>leasing cars are for niggers
Not really. Very few blacks have the kind of credit it takes to get a lease.

But yeah, leasing is a bad deal. The only reasons I could imagine leasing would be because I have an old person in my family who needs to drive but I wouldn't want them having to put up with any kind of car trouble or trust them to maintain the car themselves. Or if I could lease the car and count it as a business expense for tax purposes.

This right here is a retard

I thought you said bicycle for a moment I was about to commence pissing my drawers
