Went to the doctor once and he didn't even help me.

I could have just as well invested that money into an ETF and have it cover all my medical expenses. Short of getting into an accident that royally fucks me up (at which point pulling the plug would have probably been preferable) or getting cancer (at which point the plug would also have definitely been preferable) there was not much that could have exhausted that potential fond.
