I know it's meme today, it was even a meme on the 60's. It still doesn't change the fact that the system isn't operating as intended.

...

Anyone been to see Kong: Skull Island? Thinking of going to the cinema tonight.

No.116178792

I don't really watch films

I'm tempted to go but the place will be full of little shits with their parents and I can't be arsed putting up with them.

Decent line-up. Bound to be a few arguments..

Its why I only go after 8 pm, made the mistake last time of going late afternoon, cinema full of drooling shit kids and their retard parents.

Thought I had escaped it when popped into Frankie and Bennies for some food and it was the same.

Mr Farage is a bit of an idiot now

He is trying to be too much like Trump and Trump is a big idiot

>When you get the synagogues and the Methodist churches leading a campaign in your city to provide support for refugees predominantly from a Muslim faith background it does help pull the city together.
This is why Britain needs to become a radical secularist state, abrahamic religions are all the same

but then we would not have god's law and the national anthem will have to change as well as the queens crown

so guys what is the plan ? ;)

>introduced life peers (labour was opposed)

""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""Conservatives""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""

Oh, it's all fucked. Labour too.
Strictly it's Labour's shift that threw the whole thing off balance, I suppose. (Though there's also a case that the blame is with Cameron for following the lead.)

>abolished our based £sd imperial money in favour of decimal shit
I believe that was Labour's decision, they just implemented it.
(Or do I have that the wrong way around.)

>I believe that was Labour's decision, they just implemented it.
That's the Toryfaggot excuse for everything

Wasn't it Callaghan that did it?

lads im 24 without a job, how fucked am i

I'm less than a month away from being you.

>le blame the tories meme
Y-yeah well it's not their fault they were left with such a terrible financial climate thanks to Labour 9 years ago, they just need time :^)

Tory governments have been implementing socialist policy since after the war.

Have you ever had a job?

It's glorious lads

Not really. The majority of those were imposed under Tory governments directly, with Labour accountability being more restricted to "Why the fuck didn't you roll it back?"

Tories set up the Halsbury Committee which reported in favour in 1963, Labour accepted in 1966 and legislated in 1969, and Conservatives implemented in 1971.

So Callaghan accepted and legislated, but presumably the Tories wanted to do the same. (Otherwise the committee would doubtless have found against.)

Fun fact: Tories also declared in favour of devolution in the 60s. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Declaration_of_Perth

Both parties are in hoc to ((them)) more or less.

Stop being catholic.

Really depends on your current situation, any experience and education

Still tho, never lose hope, keep combing and eventually, EVENTUALLY you'll find a job that a slav hasn't gotten to yet

>introduced life peers (labour was opposed)
Good. I'd rather have experienced peers in the house that represent the geographical demographic of every area of the UK based on heritage, than some common London paki
>ended national service
That was Wilson
>legalised gay marriage
Trur
>fired standing mps for being homophobic
Never happened
>started "care in the community" so underpaid mummies would have to visit dangerous mentally ill people alone in their own homes instead of just paying for mental health wards
Care in the community was introduced because nobody wants to pay for your "anxiety" mental health shit. If you can't be a decent human being in society, don't expect welfare
>passed the hate speech legislation that would get anyone here imprisoned
Race relations act was introduced by Labour. Discrimination acts were introduced by Labour
>entered us into the EU
But then also gave a referendum to ratify it. Something labour never wanted
>abolished our based £sd imperial money in favour of decimal shit
That was Wilson
>presided over the largest immigrant influx in a single year in all of british history
And now we're leaving the EU, and it's all thanks to the Conservative party. And we'll have full control of our borders. /ourMay/ will make sure of that. Fuck off UKIP shill your party is dead lmao

used to be a joiner/shopfitter but my old firm went busto and we got conned by the boss, he said we were just moving factories so we all mucked in and set his new factory up then he fucked us all off shut down the business and started up doing something else

but other than that iv never worked anything else, got no education besides a half completed college course i did while looking for work after school

hopefully Nigel will get an opportunity to savage Soubery in some way.

If your a joiner you should have loads of work, loads of construction projects for new housing going on, people doing extensions to their own houses etc.

>That was Wilson
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/National_Service_Act_1948#Ended_in_1963
>But then also gave a referendum to ratify it. Something labour never wanted
Labour gave us a referendum in 1975 and proposed withdrawal without a referendum in 1983.

you can get a job tomorrow with a CSCS card.
shit agency pay though and also the ((self employment)) con.
If you're desperate a CSCS card can help but you will have to learn Romanian first.

>The greatest enemy that we have—to slightly adapt Roosevelt’s slogan about fear, that there’s nothing to be afraid of except fear itself—the greatest enemy we have is raised in our own mind. The grammar of self-intolerance is what we have imposed and allowed others to impose upon us. Political correctness is a white European grammar, which we’ve been taught, and we’ve stumbled through the early phases of, and yet we’ve learned this grammar and the methodology that lies behind it very well.

>And we’ve learned it to such a degree that we can’t have an incorrect thought now, without a spasm of guilt that associates with it and goes along with it. Every time we think of a self-affirmative statement, it’s undercut immediately by the idea that there’s something wrong, or something queasy, or something quasi-genocidal, or something not quite right, or something morally ill about us if we have that thought. And this extends out beyond racial and ethnic questions to all other questions. To questions of gender, to questions of group identity and belonging, to questions of cultural affirmation, to questions of history.

There's a 'care in the community' house a few doors down from me. Pretty sure the shoeless black guy who stands in the road shouting "BUS DRIVER" all day doesn't have anxiety.

>Think about what it will be like when white Americans are 10% of the population of the United States—or 12%—15%—or even 25%. Political correctness will not save you from the marginalization of your history and traditions, which will occur because it’s not much fun being a minority. Which is why all minorities seek through their vanguards to take majorities down. And they seem to take them down physically, conceptually, actually, legally, philosophically, and in other ways. And they form alliances with like-minded groups that wish to do to majorities what minorities feel that they ought to, because it’s a question of survival. Everyone’s interested in surviving, and even getting along with each other in a relatively quiescent and “PC” way is just another way of surviving. Maybe in the current circumstances it’s the only way in which multiple group-based societies can survive.

>The Bill Clinton metaphysic is that everyone should mind their own business, and everyone should get along with each other. But it denies the crucial harbinger of identity, which is the heart of all existence and becoming—in Nietzschean terms, or in neo-pagan terms. All real identity is underpinned by what existed before you. The societies that are being created are tabula rasa societies, where you’ve got essentially a blank piece of paper, and what an American is, is written upon this piece of paper, the way you ask a child to do a diagram or an image and they do a face with a smile. And that’s your new American: your new American is straight off the boat, he’s a face with a smile and two dots for the eyes.

east midlands mate, only job i got offered was minimum wage.. told the guy to fuck off in the most polite way possible his response was 'fair enough, i've got 10 eastern europeans willing to do the same job for less anyway'

>Where is the history of what it means to be an American? Where is the historical trajectory which relates to what you are now and to what you have achieved? And if that tabula rasa is such that everything that you have ever achieved in the past is smoothed-down and removed, what will it mean to be an American? What will it mean to be an American—a de-hyphenated American, deconstructed to the degree that doesn’t even occur—because that is all that will exist in the future. “Americans” will be those that wish to be American.

was looking into applying for an SIA license, anyone got any experience with security work? i know the hours can be wank but im not too fussed about that

Corbyn just said there should be a second referendum. OMFG. Based Mummy May will be in power forever!

If there was a credible alternative, they could probably actually win given a bit of time to build support and a bit of luck with FPTP.

UKIP is all we have and they're not fit for purpose.

The Conservatives implemented the real movement which abolishes the resent state of things?
(Jesus Christ, that's a hell of a description. I mean you could probably argue that they have done - in total abrogation of their job of Conserving - still, their record is ropey.)

But I mean if we're being a bit more freehand with the definition of socialist, sure why not. (Though their record on the minimum wage historically, infrastructure spending and even the military leaves much to be desired.)

>East Germany is now a state that no longer exists. It’s been agglomerated into Western and greater Germany. The Wall has come down, the Stasi have demobilized and are no longer evident, yet in a strange way a spirit of Marxism is abroad in the West. A spirit of Marxism is abroad in the United States, unbelievably so! The number of American Marxist-Leninists you could have gotten in a few taxis to a certain extent, and yet this element of cultural Marxism is abroad in the United States, as it is in Western Europe, as it is in Northern and to a certain extent Southern Europe, as it is much less evidently so in post-communist Eastern Europe, where there’s been an enormous reaction against it.

What a cheeky traitorous cunt, rather than employing their fellow countryman.

Unfortunately he'll be gone after the next general election and someone like Andy Burnham will come in and shore up Labour support in their heartlands which might otherwise have gone to UKIP if they'd got their act together.

its happening all over mate, i still know a couple of people on the tools and they all tell me that site work is 75% eastern european now and that even back in the workshop the majority of natives are getting replaced with these robotic poles that work their bollocks off 6 days a week for 6 quid an hour

You don't really get this do you? British Conservativism was never about conserving literally everything pre-1700. It's not progressive or socialist to implement changes the society wants and is clearly not going to stop until it does. It's 19th Century Victorian paternalism. Sometimes things change, sorry but National service was wrong and entirely pointless. And why would anyone even want Imperial standard shilling and sixpence now? Snap out of this shit, even the GOP don't want to bring back lynchmobs

Isn't that illegal? Shouldn't they be paid proper wages?

That's a lot to draw from my post.

If you want to implement changes society wants, renationalise the fucking trains already Tory-boy.

yeh its illegal but they just dont put it through the books

pay them cash in hand

I meant your comment in general, Tories and labour offer the same pandering policy Rather than alternatives to each other.

>conservajews

Oh, right. Yeah, I think Hitchens mentioned this in "The Cameron Delusion", the whole thing is designed to be an adversarial system which is farcical since both parties agree on more than they disagree on.

Why would an Irishman have to go to Iraq to become a terrorist anyway? Couldn't he just go to the local council?

For a while there was a site that scraped and put up all the removed comments from the Guardian. Was pretty eye opening the type of stuff they remove - very mild criticism of any of their party lines. Gives you an idea of where their audience really are if the comments on that are what's survived.

>Good. I'd rather have experienced peers in the house that represent the geographical demographic of every area of the UK based on heritage, than some common London paki
Do you know what "life peers" are? It's the exact opposite, idiot.

I think its just the natural evolution of democracy.

If both sides are honest and principled they have to admit undesirable truths.

The Tories have to admit that low taxes equal low public spending and Labour the opposite,

But if one party promises both low taxes and high public spending then it puts the other parties at a disadvantage regardless of ability to deliver.

Great game of rugby so far

There's nothing "natural" or "evolving" about democracy. Thinking about it in the way you would an organism is extremely unhelpful.

It was a series of conscious decisions and concerted elite effort that has led us to the "managed democracy" that we live in now.

Both parties have been promising low taxes and high spending for decades now. And using ever more ridiculous and ruinous types of financial engineering to achieve that. Now they are rushing to build a police state before the economy collapses.

>tfw you've probably debated with these people on Sup Forums and thought that their retarded opinions were trolls and shitposts but your were infact just arguing with an autistic child

This happens way too often.

And your approach is the right one too.

If you want people to value you you first have to value yourself. Sort yourself out m8.

You're arguing semantics to make the same point...

Okay then. It the natural course of human behavior.

No I'm not you retard. I'm saying that the construction of a police state and a fraudulent democracy isn't the natural course of human behaviour at all. It's one of many possible outcomes.

What's the point tho

I'm not talking about police States, I'm talking about the process of democratic parties becoming practically the same.

Cheers for the unwarranted spergout though.

I've been here for years and had a folder full of OC's and reaction images etc i'd put hours and hours of time into, and it just clicked one day, why the hell am I doing this, why do I invest so much time into an anonymous and temporary image board, why do I invest time into arguing with strangers who could well be children, why do I try to 1-up people with pictures of varying expressions etc.

So I deleted the whole lot, still find myself going to go to my folder but remember it's gone now and I feel a little better for it, it becomes obsessive and it's not healthy for the mind.
