People who are actively religious (and make a concentrated effort to live the life of scripture) are probably less numerous than the people who are actively not religious (and make a concentrated effort to live a secular life).
The greatest majority are people who insist they are religious, but don't live a religious life, other than commonly accepted pop culture stuff like Christmas, church wedding and so on.
