all you need to do to combat illegal immigration is properly enforcing the law - that means mandatory deportationg for ALL illegals, and handing out federal punishment to anybody who employs illegals in his business.
illegals come for two things: work and welfare gibs. if you cut off the welfare gibs and make it impossible for them to work, you eliminate the incentive that brings 99% of illegals into the country. the rest are drug criminals who can be dealt with by law enforcement.
