As you may have heard, one of the richest Europeans - Ivica Todorić, the owner of the Agrokor group, the largest privately held company in eastern europe is in deep shit.
The guy became rich during the transition in the 90s by ilegally acquiring companies for a few cents. Prior to that he was selling flowers.
He basically owns Croatia as he employees around 20% of total workers on the market.
It all started when Moody's dropped his rating to B-, and bankers denied new loans.
The government that saved him a dozen times denied their help which is the first time ever someone turned their back on him.
***continued***
Gabriel Rodriguez
This is the Croatian stock market one hour after the opening.
This guy is basically living in an actual castle. Yeah, castle. He is one of the most shady people in europe, working with zionists and russian jewish bankers.
And now the jews came to collect their money.
Tyler Lopez

our government should let him drown in debt and take over, nationalize the company Todorić's policy systematically ruined our small businesses

Those digits. We need to take him down.

>He basically owns Croatia as he employees around 20% of total workers on the market. >20%=60.000 people Meaning Croatia has 3-400.000 people working in the private sector. Meaning a tenth of the population's tax supports the entire country. Just fucking nuke us.
Evan Powell
interesting, what are the probable consequences?
Logan Martin
That depends on the outcome of the situation. If the government decides to save him, private sector will stay immobilized.
If however they let him drown, there will be a small inflation but it will attract investors which is not a bad thing.
They should have done it earlier. This guy is breaking every monopolistic law there is. He even brags about owning 86% of the market.
Cameron Carter
>fighting side by side with france
Am I dreaming or is this real life ?
Gavin Green
The government will bail him out, the two main parties are too deep with him to risk letting it all go out. The opposition (SDP - social democrats for our friends abroad) has already decided in favour of the bailout, and the current leading party is strongly for that as well, with Most being an exception for opposing it. Also it's funny how the media specifies a third of the debt is owned by those damned Russians while the rest is conveniently left out. This happening will be carried over our backs and we all know it already.
Not even nationalisation will help as the company has proven to be unable to compete in the EU market. Better to excise the infection than risk further spread.
Transfer of what was already stolen to foreign hands which may prove to be a good thing.
Dominic Peterson
how much was he paying his workers, 20 euros a month?
topkek
Adrian Gray
Do you know what is the approximate amount of money, for a bail out, your goverment theoretically would pay?
Christian Rogers
They work around 12 hours a day for 300$ or less. No bonuses but a coupon for food in his stores. Thats a kek.
Evan Johnson
What did he do to make the jews upset and come collect their shekels?
David Jones
7 billion HRK or 1 billion dollars.
Cameron Gonzalez

why did he get so bad rating from the agency?
Nathaniel Wright
Should we bail you out?
Jack Price
what is a "Croatia" and why should I care
Zachary Johnson
Because his liquidity/solvency/profitability indexes are terrible. He can't pay his debts because he chained all the companies together and tried to split the costs creating a house of cards.

>implying the state has that much in March
Little enough for me to stop going to his stores and to not buy any of the products of his labels.
The guy literally bit off so much he can't chew it. He bought a Slovenian store brand trying to expand but the debt seems to have pulled him down. Well not him, but his company. I'm sure the guy and his family will remain well off no matter what.

That's not actually true for all. I'd work 55hrs/week for that money any day. As for leaving the country, yeah it's mostly true because wages are dictated by local bosses because most guys are cucked so people give up and leave to work for actual money's worth.

I'm fuckin tired of having nothing but bad news from the country, fucking depressing I kind of stopped checking.
How is selling even more shit to foreigners a good thing ?
Why would that not be a joint kike effort to take over what little remains under croatian hands in croatia ? Fuck his credit rating then move in to buy everything. You think kikes have any loyalty just because he worked with them ?
Is he that bad ? Tell be something good for fuck sake. I know I'll get 90% replies insulting me because I'm diaspora. I'm moving in a couple years fuck me if I have to come to a shithole. It also seems there is absolutely no way we'll move closer to the višegrad shit is there ?

I'm not denigrating you guys I'm just saying there's a benefit to that kind of lifestyle and the degenerate western mentality of being on a constant hamster wheel of endless debt and long hours isn't necessarily balanced out by some shekels.

Kek, we have something simillar here. Even the names of the groups sound almost the same - here we have Agrofert.

Not fair Reeeeee
Christopher Davis
Say what you will about Tito and the commies, but they had a successful foreign policy that enabled Yugoslavs to move pretty much anywhere and work, for some pretty quick and easy cash. Then everything blew up and a lot of people tried to stay where they were. And now quite a large number of people are moving after, either through the EU or through relatives who are living abroad, because the situation in ex-Yugoslavia is still relatively bad due to insane levels of corruption and oligarchy.
Jeremiah Walker
m8 when I returned from the US I was so happy to be in a 99% white cunt again. But of course they will probably start importing shitskins here as well, after all we need to be like (((((westerners)))))

This is only partly true. Yugoslavia was, like all socialist states, fairly incompetent because of the widespread corruption and it didn't have work camps like the USSR, so Tito had to play both blocs for gibs, which he admittedly did pretty well. But as soon as he was gone, the flimsy state started collapsing from within. Things aren't much different nowadays.
kek the (((refugees))) don't want to stay here

Gabriel Stewart

It's because they're afraid of what would happen if he goes down, together with all the assets he bought from the state.
Try to think about it, the government will never get its money, suppliers wont get paid and thousands of people will lose their jobs. Todoric would probably be fine if he was smart enough to siphon some money to offshore banks.
So you see that everybody, except Todoric, loses if Agrokor goes down.
This guy is right, collapsing Agrokor might bring down Croatia financially. On the other hand, we need to collapse if anything is to change in the mentality and economic policies.
Aiden Hill
What's the differences of Serbs, Croats and Slavs?

The biggest source of unrest are the muslim shitheads near us and keeping the status quo without trying to solve the situation will blow up in all our faces.
Ian Jackson
Lads, if we scheme for the fall down correctly we may be able to buy the companies at a cheap price and hopefully if we can get some investors to finance the refurbishing of the companies to bring them up to conpetitive standards some real money could come out of this
