I am curious whether or not any of you have deleted your Facebook accounts and the reasons for doing so. I despise the website for many reasons, only keeping an account for messenger, events and occasionally looking people up. Is it futile to try and boycott such a large part of the internet?
deleted it years and years ago. what a cancerous surveillance tool.
Caleb Anderson
I deleted my account long ago. Never looked back. Most people aren't worth staying in touch with in the first place.
Not enough to make it worth telling Zuckerberg my life story, that's for sure.
Jacob Harris
Never had it. For the love of KEK delete that shit. Degenerate OP
Carter Lopez
>implying you can delete
>implying you don't have a shadow account based on what friends and family have said and posted about you
Ryder James
Yea I made it when I was young, it is truly degenerate.
James Foster
>having a cuckbook account >ever Good goyim.
Jacob Parker
I made my account in 2012, still have it.
I haven't made a single post, only upload an image of a bear as my profile pic.
I only use it for messenger and rarely for events.
kikebook only has my name but no other information.
Evan Perez
I dont need a kikebook account for that. My family is red pilled and nobody uses kikebook.
Levi Sanchez
Just create a fake one?
Zachary Lee
>kikebook only has my name but no other information.
They also have everything that any one has ever said about or posted about you.
Ryder Rogers
I keep mine to stay in touch with friends. You are being watched regardless. You are posting on what is probably one of the most surveiled forums on the internet right now. Own any smart devices? Potential to be watched. Do you use USPS? Potential to be watched. That being said I like using kikebook to shitpost CNNs comment section and watch normies ree the fuck out.
Chase Butler
Pretty much my situation. Barely use it. 2 profile pictures, under 10 images and never post. Lots of friends from high school but I am giving less fucks about them every year. I suppose it's just a nostalgia thing.
Leo Ross
My family are blue pilled as fuck about facebook.
When I told them about shadow accounts and how, if they post a picture with me in it Facebook will make an account for me even though I'm not there they thought that was really amazing.
Nicholas Perry
Mine is just years out of date and I only use it to talk to normies when I can be bothered with going out and forcing myself to socialise with people
Michael Evans
No one's said anything about me or made a single post about me, wall is disabled. I only have a handful of friends on there. Some people I know have like 1500+ friends and I'm like why...
Anthony Hernandez
You let Mark read all of your private messages about everything intimate in your life?
Jaxon Taylor
Don't post, just for "private" comms like groups and inboxing. Not secure anyway I guess.
Jason Butler
Deleted it when I got a job so they couldn't keep tabs on me
Aiden Powell
>Lots of friends from high school but I am giving less fucks about them every year Feel the same, I could delete most of my 'friends', who I barely talk to anyway since we just knew each other in highschool. I could reduce the list down to like 10-12.
Ian Brooks
It isn't JUST ABOUT the content that's shared on facebook, they use tracking widgets to follow you around the internet.
A facebook account turns a semi-anonymous tracking device into a personalized tracking device.
Thomas Morris
kek, generation jewtube.com is in desperate need of internet security awareness.
Blake Morales
I deleted my years ago. There was going to be a raid on facebook many many moons ago and I had a couple of fake accounts which collected thousands of friends. Wikileaks fucked up everything for a while but it seemed the best time to do some tidying. Never looked back as it is a hateful waste of time and the only people left on it are those who use it as a business advertisement. If you are going to delete facebook you should think about all the other sites you are using and do a clean sweep. You will have so much more time to waste on Sup Forums instead.
Nathaniel Butler
>No one's said anything about me or made a single post about me
How would you know what people say in private chats away from you?
Google does the same.
Asher Gutierrez
"only" messenger? Isn't that where you lay out all of the private information you wouldn't otherwise mention in public? Messenger is where they get all the information from.
Lucas Perez
Didnt deleted it bc i needed it for college Group projects, dates of exams or classes other than that i havent touched it in the last 4 years I dont care about where anyone went on their fucking vacation and i dont want you to know shit about my life if the only contact we have is through a website
Carson Brown
> I keep mine to stay in touch with friends.
Sounds like they are really close friends if you don't even see them in real life.
Zachary Bell
How so? I haven't liked or commented on a single thing on facebook. Cookies are disabled. Only use it for private messages.
Bentley Rodriguez
>not using a different device
Henry Turner
So almost nothing.
Chase Parker
I'm addicted to Facebook crack, my friends are all over the world and it's too convenient.
Blake Nelson
That's true and I have noticed it. Suddenly I'll start getting ads shoved in my face that are relevant to something I was just browsing or watching. It's weird but then again I'm not exactly searching for child rape porn so whatever. Nothing you or I can do about it regardless.
Julian Stewart
This.
I don't have an account. Never will. I despise fb.
For my friends, I don't give a fuck about their dogs or their political views. I'll catch up with them in the normal way, beers, coffee, BBQ. Find out what they've been up to that way.
I truly try to limit anything I do online. Dont use google, yout ube, insta etc either. Although Sup Forums is my guilty pleasure.
Good luck getting rid of it op.
Daniel King
Not just that but google and facebook partner to share these tracking databases.
Did you LOAD a like button on any page ever? Where do you think that button comes from?
It isn't even a cookie kind of threat, it's network stuff.
Charles Flores
>Isn't that where you lay out all of the private information you wouldn't otherwise mention in public? Well I don't share private info there, just general shitposting with friends. If I wanted to share private info, I'll just text them.
>How would you know what people say in private chats away from you? True I don't, but people don't really talk about me much. I'm not that interesting.
Thomas Ortiz
and desu I don't really care. my life is mundane as fuck why would anyone care what a 20 year old degenerate who posts on a japanese cartoon image board does
Grayson Bennett
My friends are very close even though we don't physically see each other on a regular basis.
Oliver Williams
If you have a mobile and dont need it throw that shit away. These machines are in every western city and are used to spy and track you, even when your mobile is off.
William Brooks
They are not friends if you communicate through face book. They are barely acquaintances.
Gavin Adams
>going on jewbook Lad.
Alexander Ramirez
deleted it about 5 years ago, had it for about 6 months only made one because one of my friends was playing this stupid game and he figured i'd like it ( i didn't )
never was very active on it plus when you see people you don't see on a regular basis, you'll actually have something to talk about instead of reading about it on fb
Hudson Scott
I deleted mine about 3 years ago. It was a narcissism trap. Posting things I hoped would get some likes. It's fuel for insecure people. Most of my friends we're people I've known in the past. Real friends I could count in one hand. So I just said fuck it, it's a waste of time and a useless timesink.
Thomas Sanders
>Did you LOAD a like button No? What do you mean? It's not like I have facebook on 24/7. I login maybe once a few months.
Dylan Cook
Because when it times to put you in the camps they'll have decades of shit to throw at you. When loli becomes illegal, the people who loli'd will be hanged. When anything Sup Forums does becomes illegal, you'll hang.
Alexander Phillips
One of my lawyers made me leave my mobile outside his office when we spoke
That was like 2 years ago
The bastard was/is smart
Hunter Lopez
They don't care about you in particular, they care about studying the human race so they can control what they do and think.
Juan Roberts
On OTHER pages. Pages with a like button on them. "Like this page to share with your friends!" or whatever. Those are tracking code. You don't HAVE to push the button for it to track you.
Joseph Fisher
Made an account like 5 years ago, never used not worth it. delete
Nolan Jones
Normally you are right but I have two or three tight friends that are geographically separate.
Henry Baker
I keep mine up but I've deleted almost everything. I never check it or add to it. It's just there so I can keep some contacts of old friends and family. I don't really socialize with normies unless I have to.
Chase Parker
Deleted mine in 2015 after having it for 10 years. No ragrets.
Austin Peterson
No I just have several versions of adblock installed which removes all that.
Matthew Diaz
I only use facebook because websites require you to check their facebook pages so you can get Steam keys. If I want to see my contacts in real life, I'd rather visit them.
Samuel Nelson
Use email like a normal person. You will eventually not have these good people as friends if you only communicate through facebook. Your choice though.
Angel Sanders
Would someone seriously hang someone for posting on this board? Like in all seriousness?
Carson Nguyen
Friendly you don't have any real life contact with aren't really friends. I once met a girl from another country and we were really close, but it still wasn't anything because it was just digital. This isn't real life mate.
Jayden Rogers
I had one during the glory years where you could get laid from a random add
Then when it became a form of "communicating" I deleted it
I made a dummy account for tinder/websites
Facebook is a really feminine website. Who gives a shit about social things? Unless we're talking about something that might help me in the future I don't really want to waste time talking about it unless we have to (like in real life during smallchat)
All the fucking sharing of music and quotes and jokes and shit, grow the fuck up faggots school ended years ago move on
Chase Allen
Don't know if I deleted it or not but I stopped bothering with it fairly quickly when I realised it made me hate all my friends for constantly such inane drivel.
Matthew Butler
Adblock can do some of it, needs a lot of addons to get the appropriate tinfoil defense. Totally possible, handle your shit.
You don't know what the law will be tomorrow. Surveillance will always be there though.
Levi Rogers
Was never stupid enough to sign up for one cause even when I was a cucked libby teenager I still didn't like the idea of some web service keeping track of me and documenting my personal life.
Anyone dumb enough to sign up is just signalling how popular they are by keeping tabs on everyone they went to elementary with or too dumb to just keep their real friends numbers on dial.
Aiden Taylor
le reddit memes
Parker Phillips
>Adblock can do some of it Well how do YOU do it then?
Kevin Powell
The second I learnt that your personal messages are not private and can be accessed I deleted it.
Just delete it dude, after a week you wont even remember why you had an account.
Ryan Howard
I deleted my kikebook back in 2013. I like the concept and it's really useful in getting in touch with people (or stalking them) but I deleted it because I couldn't resist going full retard and getting into political flamewars or just arguing for the sake of arguing. I would post really cringey things thinking I was hilarious and entertaining but one day a Chad pulled me aside and said "bro you should delete your account bro" So I did and then all that Snowden shit came out a couple months later so I haven't looked back. I like Twitter more because you can tweet people directly and ride hashtags to get attention.
Lucas Barnes
adblock, noscript, umatrix with manual rule filtering, userscripts to selectively disable javascript functionality
Michael Diaz
alright, i'll look into that
Kayden Edwards
I haven't used it properly at any point. Had a profile a few years ago. It's now deleted.
Don't miss it. At the most you should have it to keep in contact with family members that live far away rather than 500 people lying about their lives.
If you need it to keep in contact with friends, then you can do without.
John Russell
I never had a social media account MySpace, Kikebook, Twitter, Instagram, etc. are all cancers that have been ruining the internet since their inception
Jason Nguyen
Meh if they did retroactively punishing people for posting here and somehow could make "ironically" talking shit on the internet in the past a criminal charge then it'd just give me an excuse to an hero or fuck some sjw gestapo up.
Nathaniel Howard
Email could work with close friends or a girlfriend if she's not a thot, but you've stricken the cord at the problem with Americans...
They're vacuums of insecurity that need constant reassurance.
You think they post about how they went out to eat for memories? No... they post it to signal to others they are social, they are adventerous, they are fun to be around, and charming.
America is all about virtue signaling and no actual virtues to speak of. Especially the women. The women need constant validation and acknowledgement from thirsty dudes who will never see them or sniff that pussy.
Why do you think girls get so mad when some bitch likes your post?
Connor Smith
A friend of mine got a tourist pregnant and she tracked him down thanks to facebook and tried to get him to take a paternity test
He deleted her and deleted facebook so she started contacting his family, they started contacting him
Facebook is great if you want to be approachable by absolutely every person in the world absolutely all the time! Havnt you seen how successful people live? They make themselves available for psycotics and hobos all day and never make sure they have a small group of trusted people around them!
Everyones got Fortune 500 CEOs on facebook right? They're super accessible, just like you, the winner you who is super accessible
Samuel Foster
don't worry, i'm sure something you've done will be illegal somewhere by now.
Nathan Mitchell
> 500 people lying about their lives.
This is especially the case on instagram. I know this girl who is so poor she has to sleep in her car or at airports most of the time, yet if you look at her instagram pictures, they are just all these photos of her in airport lounges, expensive restaurants, etc.
Mason Turner
I keep in touch with my family through email and skype. I only really use skype because my parents find anything else difficult to cope with. In reality I talk to my parents more now then when I was living in England.
Mason Diaz
>not having a fake profile to troll lefties on the major news posts This is why you cucks aren't on our level
Eli Lee
What is it, 2005?
Colton Edwards
have it still to keep in touch with family and friends, never put my own photo on it tho, im pretty sure a picture of me does not exist anywhere on the internet
Gabriel Fisher
I don't really plan on living in Uganda or North Korea
Caleb Harris
I put mine into sleep mode back in 2008
it was really fun in around 2005/2006 when you had to have a college email address to sign up
my tipping point was when my nearly 80 year old great aunt added me as a friend
Ayden Wood
I'd probably have you all hanged if was given that power. An act of mercy really.
Ethan Ward
When I had facebook my way of dealing with unwanted people to state I was a Scientologist.
Jonathan Long
Fpbp Never had one, didn't like the terms and conditions
Jeremiah Walker
Sauce on that image?
Jaxson Moore
What I really mean is they arent gonna start putting people on train rides to camps for insignificant shit expressing political views on an image board
Jackson Gomez
Glad some of you recognise it. You're not alone though, it's the same here for the most part.
William Phillips
Deleted it last year, but I hadn't posted on it for years prior. I made a post before deleting it, the day before election day, "vote trump!"
Took a bunch of screenshots of the butthurt then deleted the account.
Should've never had one in the first place.
Ryder Cruz
I have a deactivated which I've gone on once in the last 4 years or so.
A girl cut me out of her life for finding out when she got back from her vacation because I told her I found out that date from when I reactivated my account to look into making a tinder account. Deactivated it within half an hour because I remembered how cancerous facebook was and also I didn't have any photos on there that would get me laid on Tinder.
She said it was an invasion of her privacy and she didn't want to know me anymore.
Is that excessive or am I was I genuinely invading her privacy? Considering I was supposed to be her friend and was still on her friends list on facebook it made zero sense to me. I wasn't even looking for info on her, some friend of hers had commented about it on the main wall.
Jace Collins
People have lost their jobs because of what they have posted on facebook. Definitely in the UK you need to check your employment contract about what you can and can not say of social media.
Jacob Lee
This.
Facebook was fun until all the catladies, faggots and other categories of shitnormies found their way there. It has since turned into a rabid SJW-fest for said people fishing their insecurity for likes.
Cooper Torres
That's also the goal of the imageboard too though. >be 2025 >get parking ticket >your porn history from 2014 is used as evidence in court
Henry Watson
Delete it like I did, you can choose to keep messenger so you can keep messaging friends and stuff. You load facebook and it doesn't load up your account then you think. "Oh yeah, I deleted that for a reason." You can then go and find something else to do either on the internet or in real life.
Blake Collins
that's women everywhere mate.
Ethan Perez
I've never made a Facebook
Levi Miller
"Deleted" mine. Feels good. If you use it regularly then you'll be surprised how often you lurk once you are aware of its absence.
Lincoln Allen
>not using different IP
Christian Nelson
Deleted mine long ago. And all my social media but Snapchat and LinkedIn.
Life's better without it, trust me.
Sebastian Clark
I don't know much about young people, but I see all these girls obsessing over taking pictures of themselves and I assume putting them on social media somewhere. Then they get a little rush as someone likes their photo and shows them attention. Seems like it is just a tool to manipulate attention seeking behaviour for financial gain.
Jayden Jones
>go and find something else to do >on the internet Sorry, I forgot to mention this just means you spend more time on Sup Forums.
Ethan Martinez
>making a kikebook account >ever Ya dun goofed, user. Anyone worth communicating with can be reached through other means.
