IMO what you should do is save money in case things ever go bad, and then pass it on to your children and tell them you put it aside in case anything goes bad in the family and that they must do the same with the money you give them so on and so forth. Nah, carbs are ok but in moderation and hopefully with the phytic acid and phytates reduced. Meat is more easily digestible, but so are fermented vegetables/grains, so think sauerkraut, kimchi, brined pickles, sourdough breads, yogurt etc.
