A lot of guys in the Jobar pocket are/were remnants of the original SAA brigades that defected and formed the FSA all the way back in the beginning.
They are similar to the Daraa guys, OG "rebels" but nowadays they are more or less affiliated with those original ideals and are now controlled and led by Jaysh al-Islam who since 2013 after the merger with Liwa al-Islam have been thought of as a counter weight to al-Nursa in the north by their patrons abroad.
End of the day they are jihadists, effective ones at that. But that doesn't mean they are all dipshits, quite the contrary, they've been incredibly effective and maintained their military capabilities throughout the war.
These are the same rebels who capture anti-air systems and deployed them as part of a deterren

>TFW you realize the only hope for the region is to be united under Israeli rule.
Israeli-ottoman empire when?
Ryder Brooks
the Zalzal rockets were in east Qalamoun though
although of course I know Jaysh al-Islam East Ghouta and Qalamoun are strongly connected
John Scott
Turkish leadership is crypto kikes anyway so it would work out
Lucas Fisher
>the Zalzal rockets were in east Qalamoun though
Indeed, but like you said, Jaysh al-Islam runs the show in eastern Ghouta :P
Leo Green
Is this a legit thread or another kike ploy to divide the /sg/? Tell me the truth.

King Salman Base in #Riyadh after being hit by #Yemeni ''Burkan 2'' missile... Causing reportedly 10s of killings & 20 destroyed warplanes
Oh, FSA joined two pockets together at a great cost to their dwindling resources. Why are shills so ecstatic about this, exactly? It will be just like Aleppo, even faster.
John Morales

Do you mean Syrian pop music?
I actually don't know any.
Blake Robinson
Changing the interviews to Bibi was better in my opinion. Topkek brutal meme Right here, still alive, still YA ZAINAB WOOOHOOO
Oliver Williams
Yeah, music that Syrians used to listen. There was an article on The Economist about Syrian music making a breakthrough on the world stage so I thought I'd drop by and ask if anyone knew any of its older music.
Hopefully some Syrian lad might indulge me.
Robert Morris
Why even change the links? Hiding them like that is kinda pathetic.
Christian Brown
Remember, FSA svbieds are all remotely controlled.

> So the LNA is "real" Libyan army, just like under Gaddafi's rule? Don't mind me asking it's just I wish to see Libya be at peace now, and I've heared rather decent opinions on her during Gaddafi's rule. Might not like the persona, but hey, at least there was order. yeah the LNA have a lot of soldiers from the old armed forced keep in mind that there is also a huge part of the LNA in west not just the east the tobruk government have also accepted the proposal to change the flag and anthem so the loyalist can play a crucial role after the liberation of the country from the militias
Camden Roberts
>Why even change the links? Ask the Jew-wannabe nigger OP, it was fun though (some year ago I think?), when we've baked like 10 breads with Bibi interviews because no one paid attention to them kek.
William Stewart
for the polish bro who asked in the old thread
Levi Bailey
Change the flag?
To what?
Jeremiah Thompson
wait really? any proof?
Jacob Hill
the loylists refuse to work under the new flag and some people refuse to go back to the old one
so changing to a new flag that the two parties can agree on is a big solution
Jacob Ward
FSA? What do you mean "FSA"?
Your picture has a Tahrir al-Sham logo
Blake Clark
He was being ironic.
Today HTS launched 2 SVBIEDs in that attack, both were manned by humans.

not yet not until the whole country is liberated the militias are bunch of faggots who are die hard revolution supporters who won't accept anything other then this ugly flag
Justin Barnes
they actually do that every once in a while
its just that they are in the open there so are quick to retreat before air support comes in.
Elijah Cook
>I wish to see Libya be at peace now Oh, well.. You probably know that it may take as long as the Syrian conflict? Worst case scenario is US terrorists will go in, help the militias with a few air sorties overcome LNA and IS will probably grow strong in the region. Best case scenario is Russia more or less openly backing Haftar and providing him with ATGMs, armor and air superiority. I highly doubt it though, Syrian conflict costs them quite an ammount, but sometimes a few well-placed FABs can change the flow of events completely. Keep in mind that adulationi foedum crimen servitutis, malignitati falsa species libertatis inest, and try to stay safe user!
Jaxson Myers
yeah, damascus will fall soon r-right?!
Grayson Brown
wait did HTS invent the 2 svbieds attack tactic or was it IS?
>20 destroyed warplanes That is where the RSAF has thier airborne tankers, intellegence, and logistics aircraft based. It is reasonable that 20 planes could be beyond repairable after a 500kg warhead detonated.
Joseph Miller
>Oh, well.. You probably know that it may take as long as the Syrian conflict? yeah maybe but the situation looks very promising the militias are not as powerful as 2 years ago plus the LNA is now way stronger and have more support and soldiers the only reason they won't attack tripoli is because of the damage it will cause. i have a source in zintan who told the army there have fully mobilized 2 days ago as a reaction to the demonstration but they didn't get the order to attack.
>Worst case scenario is US terrorists will go in, help the militias with a few air sorties overcome LNA and IS will probably grow strong in the region. they actually helped militias in sirte with around five hundred airstrikes in a couple of weeks that is why they were able to capture it from ISIS the pizza niggers also helped them with boots on the ground and field hospitals but i don't believe they will get involved in the civil war it will cause Russia to retaliate in response. the only reason they won't get involed is because of the weapons embargo. the tobruk government have even offered to buy tanks and jets but it's not possible.
with the east 99% fully liberated the west won't take long the militias are week divided and already fighting each other
Oliver Barnes
Thanks for asking senpai! All the best for Colonel's people and nation of Libya!

>and try to stay safe user! thanks i will just keep playing MMOs and writing my assignments no need to go outside :^)
William Adams
Because the Syrian regime doesn't operate the S-300s.
The Russians clearly have power of those weapon systems and an agreement of some sort with the Israelis regarding their strikes against Hezbollah.
Camden Anderson
Who is more responsible for what has happened in Syria over the past six years?
Assad and backers 44% Rebels and backers 56% -----'- @VivaRevolt
assadist bots as usual voting in the poll to influence public opinion that won't work
@worldonalert
@VivaRevolt Yes, it's disgusting. They are everywhere.
>the only reason they won't attack tripoli is because of the damage it will cause That's a great thing to hear, I thought they were afraid of military issues. >the army there have fully mobilized 2 days ago as a reaction to the demonstration but they didn't get the order to attack Seems like LNA is indeed well-organised, if militias won't get foreign support they should be done pretty soon. >the tobruk government have even offered to buy tanks and jets Where do they have money from? Do people in their area pay taxes to the government? >militias are week divided and already fighting each other Sounds much more optimistic than it looks on the maps and than I thought tbqh We'll see, seems Nusrats were pretty desperate to launch an attack like this, obviously they wouldn't achieve more by idle standing in defensive positions, but that offensive was just stupid, they've lost a lot more than they've gained.
It can't be translated to English sadly, something along these lines: >In adulation lies the criminal feature of captivity in malice - false appearance of freedom.
