Backing away from the rights and wrongs of the conflict though; what I'm trying to point out is that it is entirely possible for genuine national socialists to be on opposite sides of a conflict without either one being Jew puppets. For the Ukrainian, the sense of national pride, the loss of territorial integrity, the fear of Russia applying a salami strategy and resentment at Russian interference in Ukrainian affairs (I'm not claiming that western interference is any better, but it was a relatively new thing at the time after decades of Russian interference that hadn't done much good for the Ukrainian people) might have driven him to fight. For the Russian, again a sense of national pride, anger at the mistreatment of Russian and pro-Russian Ukrainian populations, anger at the fact that the Crimea was given away in the first place, resentment at western interference in the Russian sphere of influence may have done the same.
These are all completely valid reasons to fight, choosing one side or the other does not make you a Jew.

Territorial integrity is always a legitimate concern for a state. They can't allow this to happen uncontested because it sets a bad precedent.
That having been said, the Kiev regime is illegitimate and the cause of the Eastern Ukrainians (or Russians if you prefer) is right and just because the Kiev junta is trying to hold onto the territory of the east while illegally toppling the government to deny them their democratically elected representative government.

Ukraine has never been a country, it was always a region within Russia that was given too much land because nobody thought that one day it won't be part of Russia.

For one part, Germans and Austrians always considered themselves the same people, just located in seperate states. The concept of "Austrians are not Germans" did not even exist until the 1960s. I would say the situation of Ukraine and Russia is more analagous to that of Czechs and Slovaks.
More importantly though, there is the issue of scale. Germany and Austria are both small and almost completely developed countries, with no Lebensraum for expansion. Seperation makes them weak and easy prey for enemies. Ukraine and Russia on the other hand, are both large and incompletely developed countries, with absolutely massive untapped potential. Being separate countries does not harm or weaken either population, and they are able to focus inwards, and develop further their distinctive qualities instead of bland homogenisation.
Taking the scale argument the other way; imagine if there were only two Germanic countries; Gelderland with a Dutch population, and NRW with a German population. Everything else is either France or Poland or whatever. In this world, Hitler would have advocated the unification of these two countries; preserving the distinctiveness of the cultures would not have been worth the increased weakness

Finns are only a nation because of the Kalevala instilling a national identity in them in the 19th century, that's a pretty recent event.
Similarly, Ukrainians are a nation because Franko and Shevchenko instilled a national identity within them. If Ukraine is not a valid nation, Finland is not a valid nation. For some reason, nobody is denying the nationhood of Finland.
This is largely because Russia does not want to take over Finland and use it as a breadbasket.

The difference between different German dialects is bigger than the difference between Russian and Ukrainian.
Not to mention that Polonization has played a part in creating Ukrainian and Belorussian languages in the first place.
As for the question of scale, I really don;t see how it matters. Having Russia and Ukraine separated makes them both weaker. Both Russia and Ukraine are surrounded by countries who are not Orthodox Slavs and who are potential threats to them.
