Communism is the next stage of humanity following the capitalist stage.
What exactly is communism according to Marxist-Leninists:

The capitalists get a cut of the profit because they supply the land and capital. The workers just supply the labor. There is no "surplus value" that is being stolen.

There is nothing stopping workers from doing this now. They can pool their money and buy land/capital goods if they want to. The reason why it isn't done is because it's also a really inefficient system beyond the small scale.

Oh it was demonised - try wearing a hammer and sickle in 50/60s Britain or the US, see what happened to you. But nazism didn't have a power structure any more to subvert western education etc, communism did. I suggest you read up on how much they spent on this. Scandal at one of my old unis a few years ago after the wall came down, and records were available, turned out a few profs were on the stasi payroll. Read about the long March through the institutions etc
