Hello Comrades. This general is for the discussion of Marxism-Leninism, the ideology of revolutionary socialism and communism.
Communism is the next stage of humanity following the capitalist stage.
What exactly is communism according to Marxist-Leninists:

## A LESSON IN HISTORY ##
Christianity soon became the religion of slaves and oppressed people.
It grew in power as it provided welfare to everyone.
It turned the tides of the empire.
It absorbed pagan leaders and made them into rightful rulers.
It fostered the study and research of classical documents.
...but in the end it became a cumbersome legacy, which addressed old problems in old ways, which are not optimal any more.
Hence, it became the enemy -- it used to be progress. Now it's the enemy of progress, science, and the like.
But a new star rose among the masses: the star of communism.
A whole new ideology? A whole new set of instructions?
Well, theologically speaking, maybe. But it still bears many similarities with Christianity.
Communism is a religion of slaves, which thrives on welfare and promises of a better future.
The only difference with Christianity is that Communism does not reject progress and thinks Heaven can be created on earth.
Delusional as it may seem, it succeeded. Why?
Because, in the end, every age has a "religion of slaves" that is apt to its time and place.
