The industrialists supported a war because it's something that they personally profited off of. Not to mention, there's nothing weak about a nation or party sticking to it's original principals. Don't get me wrong, I understand it was Hitlers decision in the end but that still proves my point that Germany may have been better off under the leadership of Gregor or Otto Strasser as opposed to Hitler. Neither one of them had any desire to go to war. Not to mention, Gregor ironically talked Hitler out of committing suicide at one point in his life. Yet Hitler ended up having Gregor killed.

You can have factories under a corporatist/national-syndicalist system as described by Strasser. Complete private ownership doesn't necessarily mean it's going to be more efficient. Not to mention, the Strasserists didn't advocate a complete command economy like the soviets did. Business was still semi-private but with increased worker control.

Not saying Hitler was perfect, but I'm skeptical of the claim that Gregor or Strasser could have accomplished what he did in terms of the success of the NSDAP. Probably would have remained a minor party under their leadership.

It's the matter of implementing those systems. It takes time to uproot something thats been going for decades and replace it with a new theoretical system. Mistakes would have undoubtedly been made and inefficiency would be rampant, neither of these things are good for the war effort.

I'll give you that one. They didn't quite have the same amount of charisma as Hitler. I've listened to his speeches I'll even say that he was an amazing orator. With that said, I feel the system advocated by Strasser would have been better for the German people. Perhaps if he hadn't killed my brethren in 1934 I'd have a more favorable view of him. Hitler came to power in 1933, You're talking at least a good 6 years before the beginning of WWII. Not to mention, I still think the war could have (and should have) been avoided.

Looking at it from irreligious perspective, what is defined as degenerate should be dictated by its practical outcome. What is the single most impactful social strucure? What seperates blacks and white in the US even more than race? Good families with a father and a mother.
