Why don't you just buy your own?

Because you would see massive deflationary of our current market for medical care and services. You would see exactly how destructive deflation is and why the FED tries to fight it at all costs.

Because people who keep healthy don't get sick.

Because it's immoral.

Why is medicine so much more expensive in the US than in evil and inefficient socialist systems like Canada or UK?
What if people get in an accident or suddenly become seriously ill?

Why should I pay for other people's things?

That's the point of old money but you went and threw all your gold out and replaced it with circus tickets didn't you america

Because the last time we tried if fucked up. I honestly think it’s almost worth trying again.

why aren't you communist collectivist shitheads? Gee I wonder why you typical fat burger mutt.

Because pharmaceutical companies and healthcare insurers line their pockets from people who have no bargaining power with the companies themselves NOR do they have the ability to find a competitor for the same service or medicines due to the stringency of patents for drugs and biological resources?

Like how about after a company has made back its profit for a drug's initial research cost (just that drug's research cost), it loses the patent on it?

So you have an Early Adopter phase for medication, those who want it msot and can afford it, and then it eventually drops back down to an approximate cost-region above the production cost that they (along with the other companies that come in to offer their own version) still make money but have now rescinded their initial investment?

because the libs love it so Sup Forums must edgily hate it. so sorry.

>Why is medicine so much more expensive in the US than in evil and inefficient socialist systems like Canada or UK?
The Clinton Foundation worked to keep AIDS drug prices artificially high in the west in exchange for cheap AIDS drugs for Africa.

because you have to take my money in order to do it, and I don't want universal health care

really the only way to fix healthcare in america is to make emergency rooms stop treating people that don't have health insurance

why dont you make a good movie

because you are supposed to be federal state? same democratic system for 300 million is a retarded idea

Don't want to subsidize fat fucks.

It would be way too expensive to insure the aliens over in the Gachi Nebula those fuckers get hurt all the time.

Cause there's money to be made

No one wants to pay for subhumans

Capitalism

Pay for my healthcare

That guy could use a cigarette I bet

why dont you just move to a place that has universal health care?

it's massively expensive, inefficient bureaucratic black-hole that is barely capable of serving it's patients and if people actually gave a fuck about their health we wouldn't have an obesity rate edging past 50%

Unconstitutional.

the only reason universal healthcare is a thing is because people don't want to held responsible for running themselves into the ground, they want someone else to pick up the pieces

>America claims it is the most free country on Earth
>Unless of course you get sick or get in an accident, then you're fucked by medical debt, with the number one reason Americans go bankrupt is medical debt

This is unacceptable, even African countries have socialized medicine, despite it being little more than voo doo doctors and salves. Americans can't just admit that we are cucked by our billionaire overlords who only care about making a buck; whether that is your health, or your education. It is sad and pathetic and it is exactly why this system is dying and will collapse. There is more to life than profits and making money, a lesson that this civilization will learn the hard way.

I pay 204€ everymonth into the german socialised healtcare system.

I get every medical treatment I want/need without extra costs. I don't even get the bill to see. How is this bad/expensive?

poor people are subhumans

Do you want to pay for elective surgery like sex changes?

You don't have less freedom because you have to pay for shit, you fucking retard.

>How is this bad
Non-whites have access to it. You are prepping the bull

Thats way more than I'd ever spend on my own health care.

If we were 99% white, I wouldn't mind full universal coverage, but we're not, so niggers and spics clog up our emergency rooms

Still our healtcare insurance companys made a surplus of 400million €.

A better health helps people to stay competitive. Even with sandniggers and rapefugees.

Ok, so if I am uninsured and shatter my femur tomorrow, what are my options? Don't walk again and be unable to work, therefore become homeless and die, or pay for ridiculously over priced medical care that will likely also bankrupt me? That doesn't really seem like more freedom.

Keep on licking those boots though you faggot, I'm sure the wealth will trickle down soon for all the tax cuts Trump is giving his billionaire buddies, a few of which are in the medical and insurance companies.

And what happens when unexpected things occure like cancer, car crash or dental problems? How much you have to pay?

Sure. Some need more other need less of the pool, but still everyone gets what he needs whenever he needs without a doubt.

This. Paying into a system that is not openly for your race is cucked

Because that would defeat the purpose of doing research to develop a drug.

>Hey guys. Let's spend a billion dollars in R&D to maybe break even! If the drug works, that is.

I would prefer not to pay for other races, but it is, how it is. But it is still better than going into debts after some minor/major health problem.

How much drug R&D gets done in Germany? Out of curiosity. (I honestly don't know)

It would be really easy to only pay for half the process and then make fun of the Americans while they pay the world's healthcare R&D cost.

Why not medical services instead of (((healthcare))) (which makes explicit a guardian-ward relationship with the element, "care".

>How much drug R&D gets done in Germany?
I don't know, but this can be sure found somewhere in the interwebs.

But we have:
>Fraunhofer-Gesellschaft
>Helmholtz-Gemeinschaft Deutscher Forschungszentren
>Leibniz-Gemeinschaft
>Max-Planck-Gesellschaft
Which are pretty productive in researching.

Because it's a horrible idea and a radical market-oriented overhaul would be much better.

Because of incredible regulatory overhead. Unnecessary testing, expensive licensing, malpractice law, not to mention the whole separate issue of big pharma and our patent system.

You can treat emergency care differently if you want. You don't have to make the entire system depend on emergency room care which is just one small part of medical practice.

The reason our system is fucked is because it doesn't properly take prices into account. The problem isn't too much market influence the problem is too little market influence.

You can't compare two healthcare systems based on what one random dude pays as a monthly fee. Germany is healthier than the US, doctors are paid less, it is a more homogeneous country, you pay less for pharmas, and you have a more powerful federal government so please stop trolling this fucking discussion

Also please read this paper if "market-oriented overhaul" is a mysterious concept

faculty.chicagobooth.edu/john.cochrane/research/papers/after_aca_published.pdf

>stop trolling this fucking discussion
I tell you, what I have from my personal experiences, how is this trolling?

>Germany is healthier than the US
Guess why.
>doctors are paid less
sounds like a generalization.
>you pay less for pharmas
Guess why.

These are the results if everyone pays a small amount.

Is there a way to accomplish this without the government owing your medical records and dictating to providers what services you may receive?

There is a tightly-controlled, regulatory-captured crony system, aka, the medical mafia in place that makes any kind of health freedom impossible.

>Because it's a horrible idea and a radical market-oriented overhaul would be much better.
Medicine has been an organised racket since the recently-deceased Rockefeller's grandfather was in his prime.

Because the medical and pharmaceutical industry would milk it dry providing $9000 band-aids to every fat retard who goes to the hospital to get a splinter removed from their finger.

>universal healthcare

Do you have any idea how big the fucking universe is I'm not about to pay taxes for fucking fags who live on Pluto or some shit FUCK healthcare

Because we have millions of useless niggers and spics that would instantly crash the system--or worse, exploit it and breed even more.

Because fuck you, parasite. Pay for your own shit or die. I don't care which.

>Because pharmaceutical companies and healthcare insurers line their pockets from people who have no bargaining power
>who have no bargaining power
>no bargaining power

Take a wild fucking guess whose fault it is that patients have no bargaining power.

Healthcare is immoral and should be banned.

Then it's finally time to tear that shit from the hands of the elites and let people choose and purchase their own coverage.

The US failing to implement universial health care in the 70s?

> Guess why
Because you are better educated, fewer violent crimes, less gun ownership, whiter, less social and economic inequality, more physically active, have better diets and are not going through an opioid addiction crisis.

Just want to say that it would be funny as fuck burgers keep denying this shit, if it wasn't so sad.

some people out there just get a little unlucky. That 'heroic' 60 year old former NFL quarterback getting treated for cancer? Well I'm sure there's hundreds of other guys out in the states probably as nice as him, but they didn't have a good arm so guess they have to get snuffed out early.

I'm not a libtard by no means, but sometimes I think you guys will attack policies on the basis that they're traditionally left wing.

Why should I stare my stuff with lesser people of other races?
