What exactly is the point of not drinking out of plastic bottles if many of the pipes are plastic anyway?

You cannot escape the estrogen Jew.

lol i only drink coca cola, estrogen can suck my dick

Unless you live in some shithole drinking water flows through copper pipes.

Besides, the pipes in your picture are electrical pipes.

Down here regulations say that drinking water should flow through small plastic pipes, and copper pipes are used only for radiator water.

Feels bad man

just be a man drink & smoke and you'l avoid the estrogen jew

BERKEY + PF2

your an idiot and wrong on both accounts

PVC can only be used for drainage.

just get a water filter of Alex Jones, maybe super male vitality too

If Euroland doesn't use copper for potable water, what do they use?

polyethilene/pvc

I bet that has plastic components as well

What about cpvc?

copper, poly, and galvy are what's used here. When we do repairs everything is replaced with copper. No drinking water goes through pvc.

Only shit I know of in my town using plastic pipes is electric cables and gutter drains. Everything else is a much more solid pipe. I think the ones in my house are either stone or copper. I'm not sure which. I have to drink the water regularly because if I go a month or two without it next time I drink it I feel like shit for a few days.
I'd bet stone.

>using stone pipes

show pics

I bet the pipes outside your house than run underground are those big blue plastic ones like everywhere else in the country.

confirming.
cpvc and PVC is literally shit tier, it's our standard for sewage laterals from the house to mainline.

>stone pipe
wat. sewer uses pvc, you might be seeing that although it's normally deeper than water.

I am pretty sure a lot of water mains were run in AC here and in the US. Usually when they run or renew a water main now it will be done in PEX, so even if all your buildings pipework is done in copper your water is still going through plastic anyway.

If CPVC has lead in it then you can't use it in the US for potable water. It can only be used for drainage and storm water.

No blue pipes leading out. This house is like 60 years old though, and I don't think any of them were retrofitted. A lot of the piping outside under the pavement has been, so you might be right on that.
I am retarded, I think the stone looking pipes are just for the toilet. Metal for the drinking water, and plastic for the drains.

PEX master race

There is an issue with plastic bottles when you let them heat up and cool back down like having them in a hot car or truck, because it'll give you a urinary tract infection, especially with the cheaper new thinner material lining bottles. Nestle Purelife (hur dur u buy water) whatever is what I get for drinking, tap is used for washing and cooking.

Your body passes a lot of stuff as waste, water is the least of your troubles statistically. Its not about adding, but removing food like corn products which are a majority GMO and government subsidized for everything from cornmeal to HFCS in soda etc.

TL:DR
Don't worry about water until you stop eating genetically modified corn products, because it is a negligible concern in comparison.

Still makes me sick, though.

Water mains here are replaced with ductile iron.

Also, in municipal potable water wells we use stainless steel and bronze components. Any pipe dope or oil is food grade.

You are schizophrenic.

I have genetic GI issues.

corn isn't a thing here, can't even grow it tb h

Enjoy your diabetes, also:
>This goy doesn't think that drinking sugar all day won't lower your testosterone levels

Enjoy your estrogen, you faggot.

Liquid sugar is so much of my diet that I'm addicted to caffeine and sugar. If I go without either I sleep for like 14 hours a day. If this shit lowers estrogen then I could have been a literal fucking mantank because as it stand I am a white ape.

If you have anything like sodas, condiments, sweet foods, it likely has high fructose corn syrup. A lot of snacks are made of reshaped and flavored cornmeal.

You would be surprised, corn is in like 90% of products because of all the government subsidizes.

I am fat but only because I do nothing at all times. I don't have diabetes which is a fucking surprise, but I may have minor hypoglycemia. Then again, I don't know the first fucking thing about it.

resistance.

stone is great for water. it wouldn't make you feel like shit. it would enrich it with minerals and filter it.

Because all of us engineers are with ((them)).

If it's replaced every few years, maybe. Russian cities with old stone piping is a good example of why it's not such a good thing.

I've been without soft drinks since a week after New Year's. Replaced it with water and tea. First three days were the hardest, massive headaches, stayed in bed. My anxiety and mild depression is totally gone. Feels good senpai

it makes the frogs gay

yeah copper is clearly superior. the noble metal.

I'd guess theres a difference between water coming in to contact with pipes for maybe an hour tops an water sitting in bottles for possibly months.

Plumber here. Copper goes in commercial buildings. PVC plastic goes in residential buildings.

I'm not even convinced PVC is good for drainage considering it goes back into the system. Cancer causing chemicals and xenoestrogens leech out of it. The US once used iron for drainage everywhere. If roots refuse to grow into PVC, this should tell you something.

>Operating under the idea that the cans aren't lined with plastic.
You need to do some research user.

>What exactly is the point of not drinking out of plastic bottles if many of the pipes are plastic anyway?
Only certain types of plastic leach the estrogen mimicking hormone, and only when those types are frozen or heated. Also, single use plastic shouldn't be reused as they will degrade over time.

I'd fucking love to see potassium piping. It'd be the Samsung galaxy note 7 of piping.
Total recall: Plumbing warfare.

why do they use cooper? Seems very expensive

plastic piping isnt exposed to UV light like plastic bottles

only the sewage pipes are made of plastic.
fresh water pipes are made of coper.
where i come from.

It is more expensive, but it lasts longer and has anti-microbial properties.

>The US once used iron for drainage everywhere.
With lead joints.

It has excellent corrosion resistant qualities, it's more expensive now. But remember, they made pennies out of the stuff.

Roots don't grow in PVC pipes because they don't get into PVC pipes, they seal so well unlike old EW which was prone to breaking around the joins.
