Communism is the next stage of humanity following the capitalist stage.
What exactly is communism according to Marxist-Leninists:

The modern gaming industry is good because of competition between companies. But in a communist country there is not such thing as "competition".

I don't know for certain, my guess is that in a communist society the patent laws on the cyber that is required to create video games would be freeware and open to the public. Therefore, the indie-developer scene would likely boom, and this increase in competition might reduce the trends in modern gaming that gamers lament, such as inscentivisted in-game purchases.
