Dr. Guy McPherson has predicted the loss of human habitat on earth by 2030, by taking into account Methane clathrates coming from the Arctic sea floor and from Canadian and Siberian permafrost. There are a lot of positive feedback loops we're not taking into account.
Stop pushing stupid memes on US politics and raise awareness on this. THE MEDIA IS NOT TALKING ABOUT THE MOST IMPORTANT ISSUE OF OUR OUR LIFETIME. The future does not look bright.
I assume you do not get WTTW nor have you watched NOVA.
Do homework before copypasta'ing BS and tell the truth.
You are exactly like an American politician. Spinning psuedo arguments to produce crap, paranoia, and distract.
I hope after you read this, you drink a gallon of bleach.

Your country is full of retarded bible rednecks who believe the earth is 6000 years old and think that "God will provide". God won't provide shit, we need solutions.

Matthew Foster
Agreed. If i wasn't being a slave for capitalism, id have more time to beat the system.
How bout you?
Christian Cooper
Because methane is an actual greenhouse gas and carbon dioxide is not.
If (((they))) promoted this too much, people might catch wind that everything they say about CO2 is a bullshit power play to make money.
And then people would read up on shit like methanotroph and not be as scared
William Torres
That picture looks comfy.

this happens all the time nobody cares.
russia might be habitable now.

Everything will be fine as long as we pay carbon taxes.
Don't be such an alarmist.
You might be worse than a conspiracy theories.

at least Turks will go extinct too
Thomas Clark
The "wooly mammoth" is being specifically brought back to combat permafrost. There's literally nothing that is eating the vegetation there anymore and as a result the ground isn't freezing during the winter like it did in centuries past. The ground use to freeze during the winter and stay cool enough during the year which is why this has never been an issue.
James Moore

You could have prevented this Sup Forums, we would have been exploring space and shit now, but you had to enslave us
Easton Jackson
can we burn methane as fuel?
Asher Lewis
There would be nothing we can do about this.
Joseph Campbell
hello, local retard here. I have one question concerning this debacle on methane pouring out. How have they confirmed that this 100% methane coming from the permafrost melting? From my shit education and lots of stoned out youtube science nights anaerobic microogranisms digest the organic material and produce biogas which is mixture of methane AND carbon dioxide.
Austin James
Yes awesome, now I don't have to look for a job no more. I just NEET it up til 2030 and then just simply die from too much methane. feels good mane
>mfw normalfags will work their asses off anyway and then be eternally BTFO and butthurt cuz their money ain't worth shit no more

its nothing
Alexander Rodriguez
It's 2030 +- a few years. That's a general point of reference for human habitat loss. It's the "shit hits the fan" year.
Xavier Howard
The greenhouse gas effect has diminishing returns. We will be just fine
Jace Gomez
fake news just like the yellowstone volcano
Adrian Russell
Good point
It's not as of our ancestors knew what they were doing when slaughtering all the world's wildlife. They were ignorant.
Everything is connected.
All the world's governments have known about the methane release eventuality for decades, a half century even.
When your worldview is that this world is a mirage or arena for supernatural beings to play with human life, with an immanent end time approachin this is exactly the kind of irresponsibility you'd expect.
You guys are all going to eat a shit sandwich because of it
Brayden Nguyen
I'm sure it would be easy to grow trees in that area.
Jason Jackson
Well we could ignite the methane and prevent it from escaping into the air.
Brody Wood
You dumb idiot motherfucker

Why? You could still pursue a life of excellence. Also, there's a slight hope that we can avoid this mess. Maybe the prediction is wrong. We got out of difficult times before. Engineers are thinking at various solutions.
Hudson Clark
What passivity. No rage? Indignation? No sentence of injustice? No sense of retribution? Nothing for its victims, nothing for its perpetrators?

Well it's true. You don't hear MSNBC, Fox news and friends cover this very extensively. Plus, Sup Forums loves sensationalist headlines.

Methane is a combustible natural gas. Top Gear has a bit where they showed you can make biofuel out of the methane collected from cow shit and run an ordinary diesel with it.
