I think our system was better for a time but it's fallen apart recently

Personally I'm more of a fan of the European system but acknowledge in practicality it leads to liberal domination.

Monarchy

The european system is the fucking same though, it just makes things more complicated with parties making alliances with each other against the other side.

This.

well ours allowed Trump to win

but i would prefer more parties

Europe is better but people are full cucked here so it doesn't matter

this

Ours

The two party system mirrors the divide between the anima and animus. It transforms politics into an epic psychic battle where the mother and farther archetypes fight for supremacy. I don't know if its better but I enjoy it.

seeing as how all the conservatives in the U.S. are rabid individualists, the european system would only ensure leftist reign here.

the only reason conservatives still win here every few years is because there's only 1 true conservative party.

imagine have a fucking ancap party, fash party, white nationalist party, etc.

it'd be a nightmare

Neither are effective if they don't represent the views of the people.

Either system can function properly, or improperly, depending on how well corruption checks work.

Right now, neither work as well as they should.

>Which is better
>this shitty system of democracy versus or the other version democracy

Imagine having Donald as your father and Hillary as your mother.

this. you cant trust them slippery elected fuckers. a monarch is more accountable because if they fuck up badly the price is their life.

>implying any form of democracy is in any way desirable when you have foreign ethnic groups literally molding public opinion through control of the means of disseminating information

European system is fucking trash

Hva har du tenkt til å stemme i år? Arbeiderpartiet?

Europe

Two-party system is cucked. Basically have to choose between the lesser of two evils.

Europe because it allows for new parties to take over from old ones.

>The european system is the fucking same though, it just makes things more complicated with parties making alliances with each other against the other side.

Not really.

Alliances are hardly ever full left or full right.
Centrist alliances with opposition to either side are the most common. (and the best representation of what most people want)
And you can even have split alliances with opposition between them.

All multiparty democracies devolve to two fighting coalitions. Having two parties just cuts out the bullshit minuteman and also doesn't risk having your government hijacked by the greens because they are the tiebreakers.

Neither. One party system is the only way to go.

they're both shit
In Europe everyone disagrees and a lack of power locks the system up
In America parties are jumbled together messes of what are actually several different parties and you often vote for the lesser of two evils

Kystpartiet

European system makes it impossible for the right to ever win.

America is better because we're still going strong despite our third world population

>muh 2 party sucks
So instead you'd rather vote for your candidate then have runoff elections to narrow it down to two or three people? Like they do in France? (Like they do in America?)

The Euro system is dominated by party politics, often I feel it's the biggest cock suckers and ass kissers that get power over there.
American system is very consolidated, there once was more than 2 parties, but over the years the process has whittled them all down to two big ones. It's likely that as time goes on, the same will happen to European democracies.

proportional democracy is autistic. useless single policy parties taking up seats from parties with actual issues, forcing them to spend months arguing american system much more efficient

The one where government representatives actually work for the benefit of the citizens.

Let me know when you figure it out.

but my king is a cuck

What European system? they're several.

The absolute worse is probably the French system, literally wrote a dissertation on it.

They are both good examples for how each other's system can be corrupt

How the fuck to missisipi niggers not know chess?

it is fucking simple

Parties in America give the illusion of choice. The same people finance and control both parties.

the two party system is the only reason conservatives stand a chance in the west.

I'd say a good 1/3 of republicans at LEAST only vote conservative for lower taxes

two party system causes leftists to vote conservative because they have to decide between saving money or muh minority rights

>Two-party system is cucked. Basically have to choose between the lesser of two evils.
To be fair, germany is basically a two party system, too, because everything except for spd and cdu is irrelevant and will never be relevant. So you have to vote for one of them to choose for the lesser evil, otherwise you waste your vote.

I enjoy spreading afd memes though.

In the europe system all those other colors just form a coalition and cuck the red color out of ever achieving anything even though they have a plurality

>1. e4 e5 2. Nf3 Nc6 3. Bb5 Nf6 4. O-O Nxe4 5. d4 Nd6 6. Bxc6 dxc6 7. dxe5 Nf5 8. Qxd8+ Kxd8

Presidential elections =/= government elections.

Most of Europe doesn't even have presidential elections because we have Monarchies.

Same results. Doesn't seem to matter. Jews own the money printing and the whites are being replaced. Congrats you get to focus on stupid details while your wife is being fucked in the ass by a HIV infected nigger.

communists vs. crypto-communists who larp as christians? Noice.

can I read it?

>Europe
>20 Parties, All Socialist

>America
>2 Parties, One Socialist, One Conservative

I'll take the latter, thank you very much.

Theocracy

Both have their strengths, both have their weaknesses.

In the end, it doesn't matter, because no matter which system is in place, the clever people will figure out how to warp it for their own benefit.

>forcing them to spend months arguing

So?

We're currently in that process.
Guess what? the old government simply stays in place until the new one is formed, nothing changes.

In fact it's fantastic for cutting back debts.
Because the old government can't create new policies to increase spending.
The longer the process takes, the less taxes we'll end up paying in the future.

I see you like copying American images

A monarchy with a House of Lords that can recall an ineffective ruler would be cool.

multi-party system leads to gridlock and welcoming refugees no matter who's in charge

with the 2-party system, at least we have a chance to stop the bullshit

I would like to copy your president, too.

Some friend of mine told me to go here if I wanna hate something arbitrary.
I hate the USA now. Great game. What do I win?

That has nothing to do with the system.
If we had a 2 party system we'd still only have "socialists", in fact anti-immigration parties like SP and PVV would never exist.

Well, you copied our rockets, so we have something good.

youtube.com/watch?v=FzCsDVfPQqk

I actually like the American two-system. Get's way more done. Why the need for a Socialist party, a social-democratic one, a green one and a liberal one?

>copied

Hey, they stole that fair and square.
Part of the war loot.

Kinda mean on the Russians though, but they still got enough scraps to reverse engineer.

To ensure that no party gets the total majority.

>Get's way more done.

MWHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

....no...you were being serious?

USA one is better. You have the primaries where you can vote for different candidates representing one of the two parties. Jeb Bush, Ted Cruz, Marco Rubio, Donald Trump and the rest all had different policies. In the end you can still give 3rd parties your vote if you like none of the first two. European elections are a clusterfuck with dozens of parties and in the end one party stands for one program.

The USA bar is missing a bar of gray or yellow to represent all of the single-issue parties that rise up to bring attention to their causes in the midst of the red and blue.

You know you got two votes? One for a direct candidate and the second one for a party.

Well except for the recent Obamacare repeal try.

What is this shit? I thought I could hate here. Instead I'm explaining the voting system.

I'm bored right now.

Meaning it still allows an insurgent strategy to win. There is way too much space left for corruption though (think DNC). Let's see if any european country can do the same.

We saved your scientists from the commies.

I remember a story, how a doctor had the anatomy papers from Mengele and CO's experiments. He said they were unmatched in quality and detail. He supposedly "didn't" want to use them because of the suffering that produced them, but decided that if he didn't it would have meant nothing.

Basically everything Obama tried was cock-blocked by congress.

Basically everything Trump tries gets cock-blocked by congress.

Unless you have a 2/3rd majority in both houses you can't do shit because you will be filibustered all day every day.
Only escape is executive orders.

Why does this matter under a system where jews own and/or operate most all your media and other forms of information dissemination, and fill the heads of the populace with bad information, effectively playing opinion maker.

2 party system is fucking retarded

its a lot easier to buy 2 parties then 10

Well that's why you need to win the house and the senate big league.

Great story. Some story no one could confirm and nothing happened after that. Is that what you call a climax? Sounds like hollywood

Our system has a lot of flaws but the two parties are forced to constantly evolve based on the will of the people.

For example, all of the republicans were and still are shitting themselves after a Trump win because subsequent candidates will be forced to become a bit more radical in order to reflect the will of the people that voted republican/voted for Trump.

If a cuckservative runs in the future--most Trumpets will either refuse to vote or vote third party. The neo-cohens will be forced to pander to them in some way or risk full democrat domination.

neither one is better. single party state best

Doesn't matter how many. What matters is how right the rightest side is, and I mean that by both relevant definitions

Multiple party systems always just devolves into forming coalitions against right-wing parties anyways. Might as well just make it legal to only have 3 major political parties and save everyone the headache.

wrong

It does matter so that no party getts a majority and is forced to play with others that got other inteests. You, as a winner, choose which party is the one that goes along your lines more than the others.
I don't know, what is bad about it?
We could choose a king and let him do his thing. The different opinions is what drives us forward and hinders us at the same time. It's a slow progress. Doing things in a haste is fucking stupid. Just imagine getting someone who can change everything in 4 years and then everything is gettting revoked again. What a clusterfuck.

That's stupid. As a major winner you choose your coalition and if it's a right-wing party that wins they will rather die than getting into a coalition with a left-wing party.

>says monarchy
>posts theocracy

What

Yeah--Saudi Arabia is such a paradise. We can hypothesize how great life was under a dictatorship/absolute monarchy, but all contemporary examples today look like repressive, backward hellholes to live in unless you're lucky enough to be related to the royal family in some way.

North Korea best Korea

The king and the pope were on the same level. Both were chosen by god, per definition.

yeah how is that health reform coming along?

That's just not true. If anything it gives them less power. They need other parties for majority rule so you will never have outright socialism. You guys will when a dude wins because the other guy was shit.

it will explode. You gotta know that by now.

USA system is basically done to make sure that nothing is done. But let those teenagers have their fantasies

But on another note. What would happen in the US if a communist candidate would get the majority? You would have to live with it. No exceptions.
The thing is the big fear of a diffuse "communist" state that keeps the conservatives on the plan.
You got more fear about a single president than us if a fucking left-wing party wins.

>You got more fear about a single president than us if a fucking left-wing party wins.

Hillary was pretty center right outside of her "muh womyn" pandering. She seemed like as much of a warmonger as Bush or her husband Bill was. Bernie was a wildcard but he lost rather bigly.

That's just because they are more leftist as a whole. Our system makes it easier to fix or fuck something up.

A hardline, written Constitution is suppose to provide a firewall against that. Usually historically we have a third and fourth party that acts as a disenfranchisement valve to tell the major party they are closer aligned with what they need to work on(like Green and Libertarian now)

So, what's more? Can I hate here now, or do I have to explain the benefits of a multi-party system to americans now?

>So, what's more? Can I hate here now, or do I have to explain the benefits of a multi-party system to americans now?

Outside of AfG, all of your parties seem left even compared to our democrats. What are the benefits unless you want varying degrees of socialism (which could be a decent system for us if we didn't have maintain such a large military)?

Your system makes it easier to make exploits a law. In amulti-party system you had to discuss that shit and not enforcing it by a decret.
It is faster, for sure, but not more efficient. Shit will be shit and not easily revoked in the future.
Something ges messed up will be revoked later.... 4 years later.
Great system you got there.

Say what you will about the American system, but it's endured as one of the longest, stable current governments.

Since 1776 to 2017 the US system has been relatively smooth, and able to absorb shocks like a Civil War, several depressions, and several external wars. It's gradually increased in wealth, and has a high HDI.

European systems on the other hand have been torn apart and pieced together through centuries of war, and given rise to populists from Napoleon to Hitler. While the current systems in place have been successful in creating some of the world's highest HDI rates, and creating prosperous growth, time will tell whether they are an enduring political system, or a stopgap for the violent turmoil that defined it's past.

>or a stopgap for the violent turmoil

We are that stop gap--literally. We force them, Russia, China, Korea, et al to play nice at the expense of our own citizens.

We could live affluent, posh semi-socialist lifestyles with free gibs everywhere just like in Scandinavia if we didn't have to maintain a fucking massive military footprint.

First off it's AfD. AfG isn't even existing. But no harm here, you're not german so you can't know.
They all seem left because the left gets a good amount of votes in germany and conservative parties have to deal with them.
In a coalition or as an opposition.
A good portion of left-wing isn't necessary bad.
The extreme left is still as unlikeable like the extreme right.
As the right is rising lefties go down the drain. It's not a majority. Never will be.
Look at the numbers.
From our 81 million people who live here, 17 million got a non-german background. And they will not voe for a party that goes against them.
It's perfectly fine (send me the burning dog).
We live with others and will live here when canada goes full muslim.

Civil-war, the great depression, external wars were always the downfall of the US. In these times the dollar was worth a dime and don't get fooled: The US is in a depression right now. No system is more wounded and losing ground than the US. Economically as environmental.

European system runs on steady depression, fast assimilation and a fucked up NATO-alliance. We will lose in the long run, but the northern states will make a new coalition. I'm sure of that.
Trading with norwegian, sweden, denmark, netherlands and even UK will be the next startup. The rest can go to hell and pay debts.

But sill, where can I hate here now?

>First off it's AfD. AfG isn't even existing

It's Alternative for Germany in English and you know this, faggot. Stop being gay.

>A good portion of left-wing isn't necessary bad.

What works for you wouldn't work for us since we keep the warmongering Europeans, Russians, Turkey, Russia, Korea, India, Pakistan, Israel, Iran, etc from chimping out and annexing land/causing massive fucking world wars due to both parties being right wing enough to maintain a military large enough to police the world.

Is this beneficial for US citizens? Of course it isn't from a superficial standpoint--we suffer for it since we don't get to enjoy free university, health care, and massive amounts of other assorted free gibs that nations like Norway do. But the alternative could be worse. We could get forced into a war none of us want to fight (due to alliances/treaties we already have) if Russia decided that it wanted to take Poland or even Germany for the lulz. Or China annexing Japan for the lulz and so on and so forth. The leftist alternative of "weak military but posh social programs" could easily make life worse for the majority of the world (with all of its nuclear weapons) if the USA decided to stop playing policeman.

>The US is in a depression right now. No system is more wounded and losing ground than the US. Economically as environmental.

You're full of shit. Our economy has grown to the point that it has surpassed the EU. This isn't 2009 anymore. You are stagnant not us.

>No system is more wounded and losing ground than the US

In what way? The USA remains the worlds largest economy, has unparalleled hard and soft power capabilities, and continues to lead the world in virtually every metric of achievement, from scientific works patented, Nobel prizes, and Olympic medals.

The US's strength will diminish relatively as challengers like China rise, but it's economy and political stability remains incredibly strong
