Can someone explain to me what's going on?

Starting of the 2 years negotiation

nice quads.
So, they're starting the intro of the beginning? That seems really redundant and difficult.
also thank you for replying to my thread
all these weirdos are posting pornography here today (more often than usual)

Eurocucks btfo soon!

What's up, Britbongo?

We're triggering Article 50 in 2 days time. This will trigger a 2 year period of exit negotiations and, along with it, lots of silly EU posturing followed by climb downs and emotional appeals in an attempt to suck us back in.

Hopefully, the EU take the hard-ass approach and the old Anglo Saxon stubborn response kicks in and we walk away quickly.

Ok, so basically if you do get succed back into the EU, do you think they're going to re-cuck you, or do you think the new negotiated agreement will result in a UK-favorable outcome, with contractual terms that promise those agreed upon terms shall not be infringed?
...Or is getting back in the EU always going to be shitty no matter what?
Also, my heart hopes that Britannia rules and leaves the EU.

>walk away?

Cut the damn cord and let them drown is more like it

We don't know if it would be better aside from the memes. One side is saying we will become more prosperous and the other side is saying we are turning our selves into a third world country, we just gotta wait and see what deal we get.

>One side is saying we will become more prosperous and the other side is saying we are turning our selves into a third world country
I have a feeling that nothing is really going to change, accept maybe the economy will be a little better. But not a huge improvement, just a slight one. Also, perhaps a safer country. Does that sound realistic?

>accept maybe the economy
*Except

The mechanism by which we give official notice to leave is called " triggering article 50".
Once this has been done, there starts a 2 year exit negotiation period, to make sure that we still can trade, and so that we can agree on things like what happens to our citizens living there, what happens to their citizens living here... and a thousand other things..

The 2 years cant be extended, and so once the article 50 has been triggered the clock starts.

It will be triggered on Wednesday.

Hope that helps clear things up user.

I kinda agree but it is out of our hands all depends on what deal we get. UK politics tends to overreact so probs nothing will be different for the average Joe

Yeah that basically cleared it up.
God bless you guys.

>I have a feeling that nothing is really going to change

This is probably the most likely outcome but watching grown adults cry like scolded children is worth it all.

Certain leftists in the British parliament were trying to slow things down. There are also voices coming from EU parliament trying to drag out the process, as well as try to sabotage the British economy as punishment. Prominent EU parliament member Guy Verhofstadt is a prime example of this sentiment. (Sorry for spawning this crook out of our non-country guys)

Theresa May has stated she will trigger article 50 end of March, after that there will be two years of negotiations. After those two years, whether talks have been finalized or not, all treaties between the EU and Britain are stopped.

Britain is going to be royally fucked during the talks IMO, as all 27 EU nations get a veto. If you look at how long it took for any action to be taken during a fucking Islamic invasion, politicians on the continent are going to milk this for every brownie point they can.

ABORT BREXIT, HULA HOOPS DONT FIT ON FINGERS ANYMORE, IT'S ALL GONE TITS UP

hahaha fucking communist fucks getting ruined

>watching grown adults cry like scolded children is worth it all.
Life is short, and watching the forces of evil weep and fail is quite enjoyable.

There's a lot of examples of sore losers

if Theresa May's plan is executed they won't be in the EU anymore however they will adopt all the rules and regulation and will also still follow 90% of the policies and agreements

Good luck with that. You can't trust commies to look out for your interests. If you could, Brexit would never have happened.

It is going to change. There are two things you need to consider for this case:

>British capital retention (due to winning both world wars and colonialism)
>Unified EU industrial infrastructure (i.e you can pretty much double your mainland production by having the guaranteed market of the EU, at the expense of nothing, not even tariffs)

Leaving the EU will cause them to slowly lose the second (they can get away without that and sign treaties regardless but the EU will punish them specifically to show that -exits are damaging and discourage more of them), which will then cause them to start hemorrhaging the retained capital as investors will now start seeing the British companies as currently overvalued (since a huge part of their bump in valuation was the EU market).

There isn't a problem with that at all, you can just tank the recession and have your economy get back on its feet in 4 years. Unless if you aren't a literal island separated from mainland markets that has no other reason to have that much capital within it (no special geopolitical location, no special resources), other than luck. This means that any capital retained from spoils of wars from both wars, colonialism and basically bombing the rivaling markets in Europe is now about to spill everywhere.

If that wasn't enough, there is one additional fact - the fact that you lack mainland connections to any markets whatsoever - which means that whatever you produce will ALWAYS be more expensive than its equivalent in the rest of the world due to the fact alone that you have to ferry it and THEN transport it by road, while everyone else just transports it by road. This is highly uncompetitive and will greatly affect their economy and export ability, something that the EU made sure doesn't happen by buying their stuff regardless.

As of this moment Britain is a fully paid up member of the European Union.

As of Wednesday it will be officially a departing member of the European Union.

By March 2019 at the earliest it will no longer be a member of the European Union.

Where has Juncker pulled this 50 billion out of his arse from?

Surely Britain should demand money or assets from the EU on exit given we've paid into it for decades as a net contributor.

Why is that cunt talking shit about burgerland?

>they're all losers
That guys is really awful.

>Why is that cunt talking shit about burgerland?
because americans hate government

The UK already had the most privileged status with special exemptions and things like that, if we did go back in after leaving I doubt they'd let us have those back

There is no way back in, us leaving will be the death knell for the union

>us leaving will be the death knell for the union
God bless democracy.

>the fact that you lack mainland connections to any markets whatsoever

What is the channel tunnel?

It's sad they won't be part of the Senatus Populusque Europaeus (SPQE)

More condescending wankers

> they will adopt all the rules and regulation and will also still follow 90% of the policies and agreements

Only companies that sell into the EU, and only manufacturing standards on products like when you sell into any other country. Getting rid of the one size fits all EU regulation could save us billions.
