For those of you planning or considering a trip to the U.K., I strongly urge you to consider 2-3 days in Newcastle. I just returned last week and had a blast.
1). Very friendly people who are quick to offer suggestions
2). The region supports a Healthy lifestyle! Even during the bitter cold days you could see them jogging around
3) easily accessible
4) Just a general fun place, you can tell the area and locals really support the nightclub and bar scene.
Who /Tyneside/ hear? Thank you for your warm spirit!
Duly noted. The pic does look like the scousers in the tv show. When my Dad talks of his years at sea Geordies often feature in a very positive light. Lots of Geordies in the engine room I think, back in the day.

Not geordies if you say mum instead of mam, but you're northern so at least you aren't southern. Durham is like the best place in the north of England I swear, swan and three cygnets is a haunt of mine.
Nicholas James
Well technically if you're south of the Tyne you're not a Geordie.
I did live in the toon for several years though.
Cameron Sanders
fucking love Duhram mate.
Nathaniel Mitchell
I'm from boro the only places i'm not called a geordie is the north east.
Nathan Thompson
Everyone here identifies as a Geordie really. We wuz.
The south of the river rule only applies to Gateshead, on account of that place being the kike hotspot of the region. Goes by where you're from and what team you support really, Geordies, Mackems and Smoggies.
