Where were you when Trump sided with corporations and government over the American people?

In my house, in the media room on November 9th.

Trump is so awesome. Winning all the time.

On a horse, riding on the beach at twilight, with the wind in my hair, whipping it back and forth

Wasn't Lyin' Ted supposed to be against this shit? He created a website saying Obama was going to sell out the internet to the Saudis and now he votes for this shit.

HE HOLDS HIS HAND UP BIBLE HIGH AND THEN HE LIES
LYIN' TED CRUZ

Watching my gf take it in the butt.

Damn that drumf

Ted was the chosen one, we betrayed our true savior.

>Drumpftards will ignore this

Does he actually personally support this? I haven't seen anything from him directly. Not defending anything I'm just curious if he's talked about it or not.

Isn't the trump that one person every big corporation hates?

Not this one. If he signs it, I'm done.

Well, Spicer just said there will be a "signing ceremony" announced at a later date. So, he is going to sign it. So, I'm done. Fuck this guy.

You faggots see everything in black and white. "Uh oh, Trump isn't a complete carbon copy of my values, guess I'm with her now." I don't like it anymore than you do but that doesn't mean I'm going to spend the next four years thinking REEEE DRUMPF WAS A MISTAKE BECAUSE HE DID ONE THING I DON'T LIKE REEEEE

>internet privacy

who the fuck still believes in this meme?

Fuck off shill.

Yeah I don't understand why people think literally everything will ever go their way. You pick the one that will give you the things you want most or stop the things you want stopped most. Shit will happen you don't like but that's life desu. No one is literally you.

>thinking you had internet privacy in the first place
Your ISP monitors literally everything you do already. How did you think people ended up with those Cease and Desist letters after downloading their Chinese cartoons?

did he sign it? pRETTY FUCKED

Yes but now they can sell it.

They already did which is why you got those letters about your chinese cartoons.

>i have no moral compass and let personality cults dictate my positions

at least you arent in denial, which is good i suppose

>>i have no moral compass and let personality cults dictate my positions
What. That's literally not in line with my post at all.

I've never received one and I pirate everything.

Reading this

Before the FCC's 2015 Open Internet Order, the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) was the primary regulator of companies' privacy and data security practices. The FTC had the authority to bring enforcement actions against companies who engaged in "unfair and deceptive practices." The 2015 reclassification of broadband providers removed internet service providers (ISPs) from the FTC's jurisdiction. On April 20, 2016, the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) proposed a rule applying privacy requirements of the Communications Act to Internet Service Providers (ISPs). However, the proposed rule would not apply to edge providers and web sites, like Facebook and Twitter, since they still fall under the FTC's authority.
As you know, Senator Jeff Flake of Arizona introduced S.J. Res. 34 on March 7, 2017. This resolution would repeal the FCC's privacy rules. I do not believe a two-track system in which the FCC regulates ISPs while the FTC monitors the rest of the internet ecosystem is good for consumers. For this reason I cosponsored S.J. Res 34.

I got HBO letters, because HBO saw my IP and alerted Comcast. HBO doesn't know who I am.

And Comcast doesn't sell my browsing history. Not because of Obama's FCC, but because It's in my contract with Comcast.

Say bye bye to that contract

Thanks for proving my point.

Usually you'll get one for shit like torrenting a movie that just came out in theaters.

>I'm a huge faggot, disregard everything I say

Other people can play your stupid game too

>he thinks the company that is well known for blatantly lying to their customers told him the truth
WEW

Why?

Because it's legal for them to do it without consent now.

Never gotten one my entire life and I'm no kid.
I've been pirating for as long as I've been using a computer.
I do nothing to hide my actions.

In a nation with actual decent privacy laws.

Good luck with your corporate enslavement, USA.

Basically, it was a power grab by the fcc and republicans said no. So the FTC is protecting customer data, like they were before

Source? The law being repealed was passed 3 months ago.

Apparently they are legally required to offer an opt-out? Pretty shit but does fix the problem.

I don't mind having data about me being sold, as long as I get a cut.
That data would not exist without me, and I am entitled to profit from the sweat of my own buttcheeks.

>Can't pass the health care bill at all
>Has Russia up his ass
>Now my internet privacy is in jeopardy
>Badmouths everyone except Putin

HAHAHA fuck YOU. I am done with you shills, this guy is a fucking loser and is selling his ass to Russia.

you? entitled to a profit?
you're the commodity, dumbfuck.

hey, we've been asking for it all along. we love being had by megacorps up the ass. it feeds into the narrative we've been bred with, that some day each of us can rise to the top and extract every last drop of value out of our fellows.

Its his data you dumbfuck.

Trump will veto... right b-bros?

He's signing it later today.

>doesn't indite Hillary
>expands military
>doesn't audit federal reserve
>Mnuchin said no tax cuts for anyone making over 100k
>can't get rid of obamacare

Y'all got trumped.

Then I'll say bye to Comcast.
I'm not happy about this bill, but I can handle my own legal agreements, without Big Brother.

>They already did which is why you got those letters about your chinese cartoons.
Sell big data to insurance companies, to banks, to future employers

yeah na

I think I've made it this far without Obama's FCC legislation ever taking effect.
And you think the repealed legislation enforces honesty?
Dumb cunt.

Internet privacy is now governed by the FTC as it should be and always has been and not the (((FCC))).

Good! Carders will have much easier lives from now on, we just need to set up a shell "marketing" company.

If he signs it he will lose my support. I'd be okay with him being impeached too. But the senators and house who allowed it must also be ousted. This is not a game and this is something none of these out of touch faggots are capable of understanding.

The privacy bill contains a provision that prohibits the FCC from ever reinstating those privacy protections in the future. Once Trump signs the bill into law, our privacy is gone.

You know, if this bothers you, you're free to choose a different ISP.

If you only have one ISP, you're perfect free to do without internet. People did without it for literally all of recorded history until about twenty years ago.

If that's a problem for you, shut up and take your lumps. You didn't build it, you don't maintain it and your data is a commodity like any other. You'll see some ads now and again. Big whoop.

Just because a choice is difficult or you think it's bad doesn't mean it's not a valid choice.

Idiot
>once a law that never took effect is repealed we will lose our privacy.

Do you see how dumb you are?

>The privacy bill contains a provision that prohibits the FCC from ever reinstating those privacy protections in the future.
Are you retarded? They are doing more than just repealing a law.

Its more than just ads being used. This privacy law retraction allows for private companies to own millions of peoples search history in the form of an online index where people may purchase individual history logs.

You millennial niggers are naive and absolutely retarded.

We did build it. Com companies get tax breaks, contracts, right of way, etc., that we payed for. They use technologies developed by the gov and unis that we fund.
But I get your point.

>You know, if this bothers you, you're free to choose a different ISP.
Oh fuck off shill, there's limited ISPs. The chances that one of them will protect your privacy when legally they can just sell it for profit is laughable.

Also it contains all history, not just recent history after the bill is passed. All the way up from 2001 will become public domain.

I seriously think you are a shill for trying to downplay this bill. If that is so I can't wait.

Just you wait scumbag shareblue jidf shills

What does this mean to somebody like me who only visits Sup Forums and Pornhub

>You'll see some ads now and again.
Nope. That's not how it works. Detailed history will be available with the associated person's name.
It's going to be funny watching leddit and stormniggers get fired from their jobs for visiting a racist neo-nazi chinese cartoon website and all those hitler youtube videos.

Right now, is your ISP selling your data? Nothing is stopping them, except your contract. It would be a PR nightmare, and illegal(contractually) if they sold your browsing history, so they don't.

>I'm afraid the police will find out I shitpost on a backwater political forum and mommy and daddy will find out I patronize lolicon artists on hentai foundry.

Nobody cares what you look at, if you're worried about it you should stop, and if it keeps leftist scumfucks from organizing I'm all for it.

>Also it contains all history, not just recent history after the bill is passed. All the way up from 2001 will become public domain.
You are a lying shill

It prevents the FCC from governing privacy you dolt. That's bc the FTC already governs internet privacy.

You will most likely go to jail.

Like I said, your data is a commodity like any other. There is literally no justification for not being allowed to do whatever they want with it. There is no right to privacy enshrined in the constitution.

I hate the SJWs as much as the next guy but you are full blown retard. Why can't you have the Right without them selling their asses to the big corps.

It means that everybody will be able to see that you visit a racist neo-nazi website and jerk off to trap porn. If you try to get another job, HR will look up your name in some dataminer's background checking service and your entire internet history will be visible to them. Also, if a coworker complains that you're racist or sexist, HR will run the same background check sicne they need to be diligent. If you're already a NEET, then you'll be fine.

Three hots, a cot and Tyrone's BBC

Sign me up

And it's going to be even funnier when tough-talking leftards and illegal-hiding SJW shitheads get their heads kicked in during no-knock raids based on the shit they spewed on some leftist forum or another.

No. The reason the FCC law was put in place was because the FTC law no longer applies as of last year when the Supreme Court ruled in favor of AT&T over the FTC. Enjoy NEET life.

We're so fucked aren't we

Fuck off shills.

This is the worst bill to ever be created in the history of the US

Don't let these disgusting Jews lie and say "it's nothing"

Fuck off of our board you faggots

>Where were you when Trump sided with corporations and government over the American people?

I wasn't even born then

(((They))) will think you are a wanker in more ways than one

The "Opt in" rule that's being repealed didn't do anything until the start of 2017. It was passed at the end of last year, so if repealing it meant everyone was fucked, everyone was fucked for the entirety of the internet up until that point because the rule never existed. Besides that it left open a ton of loopholes and exemptions meaning some companies had to be checked by the FTC vs the FCC.

Of course people are going to spin it as "Trump and Republicans repeal the privacy protections we've always had so for the first time ISPs can sell info"

That's the important thing, even if this bill being repealed was our lord and savior, we never had it protecting us in the first place because it didn't do anything until the past couple of months.

It's going to be a riot, user. I just can't wait for leddit, stormniggers, and tumblrinas to leave this website en masse.

whitehouse.gov/the-press-office/2017/03/28/statement-administration-policy-sjres-34-–-disapproving-federal

The administration announced their stance 24 hours ago. Keep up, nigger.

This is what little dick trumplets wanted, this is a fact

I guarantee you there's a bunch of racist pieces of shit who think this and more is OK because "trump kept his promise about deporting illegals", any further corporate dicksucking is worth it too for them

If we voted for Hillary this wouldn't have been passed because we'd all be playing IRL Stalker right now. Still, this shit is pretty inexcusable.

There is still a minor level of it we sustain as private citizens. If this falls it truly will be gone to the nether.

I have to agree. I wasn't huge on trump beforehand, but I grew to like him over the last few months, meming aside. But seriously, anything that pushes us closer to a dystopian future with thought control and policing of our private actions to this extent is bad.

You're missing the point. ISPs didn't bother selling identifying information as they thought the FCC rule would go into effect. Prior to that, they thought the FTC regulation forbid them from doing so until the court sided with AT&T last year.

I want that chair I sit on my computer all the day working

>if you have nothing to fear you have nothing to hide

Spoken like a true commie cuck

>it never did anything so is fine if they take privacy protection away

Lol no fuck you.

This kek

The Hillary is the biggest one to me. I cant blame him for the Obamacare stuff, he's clearly tried over the last 2/3 weeks. He's hitting a wall of resistance

Fuck I want that chair.

Internet privacy is high but nothing is higher than deporting you people to keep the country white. Same thing with Brexit - who cares about stock market nonsense and economic voodoo science? Nothing matters more than having a white country. It's not a fringe belief, it's more than 1/2 the country who believs this (in USA as in England).

So are there privacy laws in place under the FTC? My understanding is there are not.

Keep in mind that this repeals new rules, that are barely a few months old. For the vast majority of time that the internet has been around ISP's have been operating under the same lack of rules that exist now via this ruling. The privacy restrictions were only enacted late last year. This turns back that ruling. So really, not much has changed.

It is a shitty ruling for sure. Just keep in mind that it isn't some sudden, new thing here. Today you are in the same boat you were in one year ago.

Also, those ((new)) rules that are a few months would have gone in effect in 2018.
Nothing Literally changes.

>muh internet privacy
>while browsing facebook
pull your head out of your ass

It's not "nothing," it's major, and it's a good thing, and TEH JOOZ had nothing to do with this. TEH JOOZ are the ones who want this stopped.

I want this in the hands of a nationalist government, because it will let them find and out leftist fuckheads like you.

b-based free market r-r-right bros?

I'm sure if we sell our data the money will trickle back down and we'll be millionaires right?

yeah ok. you're 'free' to do without electricity or running water if you want. you're 'free' to do without antibiotics when you get sick or anesthesia when you have surgery.
you're arguing from an absurd position

How the fuck am I a leftist for wanting to stop this bill you fuckwit shill? Filthy conniving little shit kike.

Also, you forgot the part where I said you don't HAVE to use the internet at all. Your daily pornfap session isn't required for life. Don't like the cost, do without.

Shut up dawg this burns pretty bad already. I am still fazed that I voted for Trump.

> you're 'free' to do without electricity or running water if you want. you're 'free' to do without antibiotics when you get sick or anesthesia when you have surgery.

That's exactly right. Because every last fucking one of those things is something that people did without for thousands of years. Just because you think it's not a valid choice DOESN'T MAKE IT ONE. There are people who live without electricity right fucking now and they're happy enough. IT IS NOT REQUIRED FOR FUCKING LIFE.

אני יודע מי אתה

>r-russia!
pathetic

This is the kind of thinking I'm talking about, a bunch of paranoid schizophrenic trash enabling a sociopath like trump and other corporate sucking pieces of shit because trump deported people.

It's not like you can disagree with your dear leader, and raise awareness of how all this is bad, or even make a campaign to let trump know he's gonna lose a shitton of votes if he goes forward with it right?

You have to sit there and take it in the ass because you're a good goy useful idiot who's afraid of brown people.

Holy shit, what a pathetic cuck.
