I think he recently talked to a practicing evolutionary biologist. Destiny was open an accepting of some of the flaws in his own arguments. Not to say people like Sargon, or shitheads like him, know what they are talking about. Genes become active based on environmental factors, nature and nuture are interdependent on one another. If someone has a gene that says "be a criminal" in an environment of poverty, then that's simply what will happen most of the time. Sometimes the gene will say "be a criminal regardless of environment". Sure, biology does have a factor in this sense, but an environment enforces what sort of traits show up in a person. This is why people can still fail in advantaged situations, and succeed in advantaged situations, though they tend to be outliers. They just have genes that say "do this regardless of environment". On the whole, if you were to place people in better environments (or simply improve environments) your more likely to see
The part about bombing Mexico is you just misrepresenting what he's saying. He's making an argument about the effectiveness of a project like "the wall" and being hyperbolic about other ways we should spend money to effectively address the problem. Is it really so "retarded" to suggest working with the Mexican government to dismantle the cartel, when we are talking about a giant "wall" as if it would be anymore effective?
An influx of labor isn't that bad economically. We don't utilize our welfare system in a way that helps train our workforce, and I don't think anyone would argue otherwise. It does need revision. However, cheap and readily accessible labor is not bad for a well run economy. If you can control the top benefactors from the market, and effectively disrupt wealth in a way that trains your work force, then it's fine. This shit about raising the minimum wage, tariffs, shit will just adversely affect the price of goods and completely disrupt the growth of the economy.
