Muslims can't stand the idea of an independent nation-state because the existence of many independent nations contradicts their two-world perception in accordance with the quran. Muslims and liberals go together like bread and butter since they both loathe nation-states.
Another crucial concept is Taqiyya, which is an islamic tenet which authorizes muslims to use dishonesty, subversion, and trickery to infiltrate non-muslim societies.
You see examples of it today in western countries. Just look at how the mayor of London, Sadiq Khan, segregates women from men during public events and calls it 'gender equality' in order to maintain his credibility in the eyes of western liberals.
