A lot of the people you call "right wingers" are only considered "right wingers" because they are right of the far right, who demonise them and eject them from "the left".

There's this mindset that the left is unequivocally the "good guys", who fighting against the "bad guys" for "equality". They think the right only cares about rich white men and no one else.
The media as a whole is left-leaning, which perpetuates this myth. But now that the cultural conscious is as well, people believe they no longer have to carry proof for any argument or claim. Because as far as they're concerned, anyone intelligent enough to debate is already on their side.
It's a paradoxical situation where they whine that the right controls everything, yet somehow THEY'RE the ones with the power to ruin someone's life the moment they catch a whiff of wrongthink. If you don't slam Trump hard enough, you're a pedophile. If you don't mindlessly support #BlackLivesMatter, you're a misogynist. If you oppose false accusations, you're part of the problem (and also a racist).
It's a piety contest where everyone wants to be seen as the valiant knight slaying the evil villains. Yet these caricatures they want to fight don't exist. So they twist their logic to MAKE them exist. And you can't question it while still being one of them. After all, it's only the bad people that need to be educated. The good people are woke and therefore always correct. And if the bad people don't accept that, then they need to be MADE to accept it.
So now you have a bunch of rage-filled lemmings ready to dogpile anyone who steps too far out of line at a moments notice. Critical thought is not welcome: It means you don't wholeheartedly believe in the oppression of others.
