I'd be perfectly fine with the whole diversity push in comics if things were well written, and with original characters as well. A good example would be the Pakistani Ms. Marvel, which I hear is relatively decent in her own comic, but terrible in crossovers due to diversity circle jerking.

Yeah. That is kind of what I had in mind. Comics even back when I was a kid always really had an inclusive nature to them. It was more your garden variety good goy kinda shit though... some of the stories were still excellent and it wasn't 100% of the focus.
