You're fucking retarded. The West would get fucking flooded with millions. You fucking commie

is communism still not real communism when you rename it?
Cameron Clark
How do we solve the issue of automation properly then? There's going to be so many jobs taken over by robots in the near future that people's choices will be welfare or die. It's easy to post le ancap meme and say fuck em on here but these are millions of people's lives were dealing with here, some good hard working people.
Only a select few jobs will be automation-proof, and a lot of those get outsourced.
Julian Adams
Kill all robots and robot sympathizers.
Luke Reed
>Only a select few jobs will be automation-proof, and a lot of those get outsourced
ancap and stem retards don't seem to grasp this concept. they're going to get fucked just as hard as the dude with a 9th grade education
Imagine, how many milk man will go out of business if every household has these robots that can keep milk cool for several weeks.
Bentley Miller
If we had to implement basic income, we'd have to completely stop immigration, institute the death penalty for all major crimes above assault (basically murder, rape, armed robbery, assault with a deadly weapon), and end pay for splay welfare. Depopulation of the plebs would be absolutely required. We'd also have to create massive incentives for the few who would work ultra high skilled jobs to have high quality babies.
Ian Evans
Depopulation of stupid people. Lower the birth rates of spics, blacks, and white welfare trash to zero and institute the death penalty for major crimes above simple assault. Automation will kill a lot of jobs, but never all, the remaining jobs will require high skill human capital.
Ryan Bell
Listened to half of Rogan.
His idea is that society is like a body, and when a part of your body is starving, you need to nourish it.
It's a stupid fucking idea, because parts of your body die off all the time. Death is important, and your body doesn't need every cell to survive every encounter with the environment.
I'm sure there's tons of room for improvement in our society, but the way he's talking about it, and the way he acts like if this were implemented tomorrow that it would be a good thing, is like the way a 13 year old would think about it.
I argue that in life, sometimes people starving to death is a healthy thing for society. We simply don't have the resources (time, energy, etc.) to devote our lives to propping up every poor or sick person in this world indefinitely. The whole system would collapse in on itself, because you're taking resources from the strong and giving them to the weak.
Andrew Robinson
>I argue that in life, sometimes people starving to death is a healthy thing for society Dumbest thing I've read on this website in 2017 so far.
Jayden Lee
I don't want to pay for niggers, muslims and other undesirables to live comfortably here while raping, stealing, and destroying our civilization.
Levi Long
My only issue with GBI is that it gives more control to the government and makes people dependent.
We need less dependency, not more.
If GBI is to be implemented, it needs to be implemented in some fashion where a monolithic entity doesn't control it, and de-facto anyone making use of it. Lest it be the case in 50 years' time that someone decides everyone who doesn't believe or follow x ideology must have their GBI cut and that person is now homeless and starves to death.
Gee I wonder why this is being heavily pushed now.
Liam Lewis
>some good hard working people. clearly not

UBI yes please

He's not entirely wrong. Read up on Malthus. You just need to make sure that the right people are dying.
Blake Smith
well to be honest guys, my needs are taking care of, and i do all kinds of helpful/cool/entrepreneurial shit. so i guess it works.
Alexander Barnes
>It's amazing. no its not fuck off back to plebit right fucking now
Cameron Smith
Sigh just communism with a different name.
FUCK OFF
Easton Torres
UBI is the bridge to extinction.
> Money is the most easily transferred form of power. > I want a bagel. I have shekels. I can have a bagel
WHAT UBI REPRESENTS, is the erosion of power from the working class to the ruling class.
Fuck communism. This is just theft.
If you think rich people, still working to keep their AI factories running, will be well disposed to an underclass of humans doing nothing but smoking weed and jerking off - take a look at any third world country and tell me anyone gives a fuck about powerless, poor people.
UBI IS THE EXTINCTION CLOCK
Anthony Butler
Holy shit I cant even imagine how great that could be.
Could you imagine have the money and freedom to just take a few years off and better yourself? Study whatever you want to study, learn whatever you want to learn, it would literally be life changing.
Cameron Hernandez
Dickhead if everythings automated that means everything will be cheaper meaning people wont need to work as much to pay for things.
Bentley Fisher
I'm talking like blue collar, trade, etc. A lot of those will be screwed
Yeah you're onto something. We're way too overpopulated, especially for a UBI system. Too many leaches and scum but we need SOMETHING in place to deal with the good people. I don't know how we can do that humanely. I like the incentives and stopping immigration idea.
Death penalty for rape/murder/robbery is debatable (false accusations, courts might get it wrong, etc.).
Jeremiah Campbell
>We simply don't have the resources (time, energy, etc.) to devote our lives to propping up every poor or sick person in this world indefinitely. we actually do. what we don't have is the resources for everyone in the world to live like a fat, retarded american. you guys are the ones putting a strain on resources.
Robert Martinez
Purging people like you would be a start to fixing the problem.
Sebastian Walker
it has to happen. more and more people are on board with it and it's not slowing down. we need to make this mistake and learn from it.
Luke Carter
Just fuck you man.
Camden Reed
Dickhead, why would rich people, having disposed of the need for human employees, do anything to keep us from dying.
This is the part where you forget human nature and say "nah, it'll work out fine"
Brody Rogers
>pay for splay Kek, im stealing that term

You people realize that you actually believe robots are going to take all our jobs away and provide us all with all the basic necessities of life.

>People think Universal Income is good Are you people delusional? Just because you're mostly fat NEETS with no drive, doesn't mean it's good. You lazy fuckers will literally welcome your own oppression with open arms.
The rich will continue to increase their already massive wealth, meanwhile you lie a mediocre life on "just enough" to survive. Those with money now will live like rulers or kings. You will have no chance to make wealth. It's the perfect utopia for the wealthy. It's what they've always wanted. To rule over the rest of the world who can do nothing but say thanks for nothing.
What do you think happens when everyone has the same but a few have a great deal? There will be no social mobility. There will be nothing you can do except live and die in mediocrity. There will be no volatility, nothing.

Adam Wright
>take all our jobs away Many, yes. It's inevitable.
>provide us all with all the basic necessities of life. Not likely.
Kevin Edwards
>but only once automation takes away our jobs.
Never going to happen.
Andrew Rivera
>select few jobs will be automation-proof
Someone has to maintain the robots, someone has to write the scripts, someone has to manage upgrades, someone still has to visually inspect.
Bottling plants, mass produced candies, etc could all be automated today - yet they all still have a pretty sizeable employee base.
Plus there's rail yards, trucking, small businesses, and so on.
Eventually burger flipping jobs and the like will probably be automated - jobs that shouldn't be something you live off of. There's still grocery baggers, cart pushers, stock clerks, and butchers for entry level jobs at grocery stores.
And once again, someone has to build those robots.
Charles Watson
Reminder that Universal Basic Income is a new scam from old communists
Reminder that saying "automation will destroy jobs so we need basic income" -- should go hand in hand with wanting to oppose unskilled and semi-skilled immigration and deport as many as possible to avoid unemployment -- but somehow those pushing the strongest for one tends to push the strongest for the other.
sage goes in the options field
Adam Brown
yes it will wake up
Grayson Gray
It is your job to inform yourself and not act like a typical teenage faggot?
Grayson Jones
I'm pretty sure this is bait but if not then you highly underestimate the lengths people will go to do nothing forever
Leo White
>There will be no social mobility. There will be nothing you can do except live and die in mediocrity. There will be no volatility, nothing.
Sounds like what America is now for most people.
Josiah Rogers
Discussion is OK but we are not there yet. Once robots take over all manufacturing, driving and agriculture there will be probably no other choice.
Isaac Brooks
yep, instead of robots it was slaves.
We are going to be enslaved by our own robots.
We matrix now.
Brayden Fisher
LOL no it will not it is a fantasy from you teenage faggots that do not want to get a job.
it woudlnt solve much. but what do you know, get the fuck out back to plebit asap plz, you can speak of these fantasies there
Lucas Lee

Now extrapolate that to almost every single profession.

Sterilization before you can apply for that basic income.
Daniel Wood

John Cook
Why do you think the Russian central bank just opened a Chinese office? The idea of a monopolar new world order is absurd. The (((international socialists))) crafted the Anglo-american empire as a model. As we in the West sink into a welfare state, China and Russia will wage imperial war so bring them fully up to speed on resource development and international capital/finance. Universal basic income will allow us to live on the spoils of our forebears.
Elijah Cox
>my exception is the rule

dude I don't work for money because I'm lazy, I don't work because I don't have enough capital to be a competitor to fucking Google

Noah Lewis
Don't count on it.
Julian White
the current biggest problem humanity faces is the jews and nonwhites. if these problems are not solved, we will fail and perish no matter what
Grayson Cruz
Bitch and moan all you want, this would be a great idea.
Imagine the risks you could take if you knew that all the basic needs like food and shelter were taken care of, everyone would take the risk of forming a startup and become wealth. This is literally the greatest idea but neet faggots like you are denying it based on principal and not practice.
Joshua Lee
> let just pour government money over everybody, whether they need it or not > good idea choose one this is neither economically nor socially intelligent
Luke Young
Yep, only it will be truly "unfair" If you think it's bad now, then you have no idea.
The people calling for universal income are the same people moaning about inequality of wealth, etc. They don't realise that they're literally selling any chance they have of manoeuvring to a better position for a sustenance handout that will amount to nothing, ultimately.
The only people it will benefit are scumbag neets who would amount to nothing anyway, and the super rich, who will live, as i said, like kings.
Cameron Bell
Can anyone name a single civilization in world history where the wealthy pay the poor to exist?
This sounds like a decent idea, but it will never happen. The rich might pay to have the poor exterminated, but that's about it.
Jason Brown
If 119346555 Universal Income is the best way to future success of the human race.
Jacob Jackson
>My only issue with GBI It is a big one. But people can only be independent when their skills are in demand. We are very likely to end up ruled by some shitty oligarchy as a result.
Brandon Cruz
Fuck you, you fucking Commie. I will go to my grave fighting you retarded faggots if I have to.
Leo James
No such thing as universal basic income. Well there is, but it doesn't benefit the people. It benefits the companies who will raise prices on goods. That's the issue. All this stuff being pushed is by corporations which believe in the socialist model. Everyone has enough to buy there stuff, few have enough to become one of them.
Asher Watson
I don't think you know what "automation" is, or the full extent of what can be automated.
Everything you mentioned is close, or already capable of being automated, and is becoming increasingly profitable to do so.
Baggers can be automated. Carts can drive themselves back into place. Stocking can easily be done via robots. Butchers will probably be one of the first things to go to automation.
Aiden Torres
Do you really want to turn America into Somalia ? Basic income would slowly and surely remove all incentive to not be a degenerate scumbag, most people would go bananas if they didn't have to earn their living.
Easton Smith
...
Jeremiah Lewis
It is the only way to solve the problem that automation will kill the majority of jobs.
They're not doing this because they're nice but they're doing it for self-preservation, to keep people docile and make sure that they'll be able to consume their goods and services.
Everyone will get a meagre 'basic income' to afford their small-scale apartment, internet, netflix, processed food, etc. while the people in charge of the corporations will become more wealthy than anyone has ever been in history.
Easton Phillips
If 119346666 we will have universal income within 10 years.
Jose Long
All those poor horse-and-buggy drivesman.

It wont work because it's to easy to make a baby. People would breed like rabbit and create an Idiocracy.

And puckered sphincter level closed borders. How do leftists not understand that welfare works best in a homogeneous society. In lieu of that, it must happen in a closed system without uncontrolled boundary conditions.

People want mincome without the robots being here. What's the incentive to keep useless NEETs alive at that point?
Juan Perez
Sounds like you're lazy.
You're not going to get to being a giant like Google over night. Have to start small.
Or go work for an accounting firm or something, anything. You don't need to make an international, multi-billion conglomerate. You can keep local and still be a millionaire. I'm running my own business and rake in a pretty hefty sum of money. That's not without working all day every day and never having time off - but if you want something you have to work for it.
