Before the 60s, there was a lot more emphasis on the scientific method and being as objective as possible. But ever since the rise of critical theory, post-modernism and relativism, these brainwashed leftists think "there is no objective truth", so you should be free to make up your own, and even consider facts and reality "harmful" enough to be suppressed.

He has proven that there is high demand for non-cucked lectures and ideas, and is proving that the role of the university is increasingly irrelevant. He himself has stated something to the effect of "I don't believe the University, the place people go to seek knowledge, is housed within the university anymore".
The more success he gets the more he proves that the internet is a better place for learning than the Marxist indoctrination camps, and as soon as something is arranged where employers can accept the equivalent of a college degree through online coursework and programs, the universities lose every ounce of power they still have.
