I sometimes imagine what it would be like to get thrown out of a helicopter. I'm ex Royal Air Force and I worked with helicopters. I was a crewman. I can fly them. They are fucking noisy. Is Chile a good place to visit? I know nothing about South America. But I'd love to visit. Travel reminds me of who I am. It confirms my identity. I hope that doesn't sound odd, but it's true. As much as I love the places I visit, my core is English. Travelling is part of my identity. It's in my blood - it's an insticnt. I have family all over. Anglo diaspora. New Zealand, Canada, Australia. I visit them when I can afford the flights. I really wish to visit Chile and other places in South America.

I don't recommend the north though (the regions near to Peru), there is nothing interesting and it's getting flooded with congolombians. Most tourists go to the beaches of Viña del Mar and others. Again, every region has a different thing. And Santiago sucks.
