Looking back, it's shocking how bad things went for me. I finished highschool as a normal guy and since then I went downhill, putting on 45 kilos and doing absolutely NOTHING with my life. Now I'm 23 and things are looking much better, even though my depression still is alive and kicking.

I started a conditioning program. I've been fucking around with powerlifting for the last 3 year off and on, ill hurt myself and get demotivated and lose all my gains. I think that the missing piece is conditioning and core and joint strength.

I'm like 3 sessions in and I feel great. In the past I've failed with conditioning because my approach was to run for like 15-30 minutes all out and it's horribly unpleasant and demotivating. Now I'm going to run slow for 30-90 minutes a few times a week and do some high intensity hill sprints or circuit weight training type stuff on the other days. I'll add back in lifting heavy in a few weeks and do 2 or 3 days a week focusing on a few compound lifts. Feels good man.

Well since this seems to be the best thread to ask I am going to start here. Last month I decided to stop living a degenerate life and decided to start improving myself. I have quit smoking, and have cut out alcohol to maybe once a week, now it's time for me to start repairing/taking care of my body. Why do you want to learn to draw and sing? What kind of art do you want to make? One thing takes up time that you could be working on the other. Find out the thing you wanna do the most, and master it.
