It's an important distinction. Saying that 23% of Japanese men are not married at age 50 includes divorcees and widowers. Specifying that 23% have NEVER been married is a much different matter.

What people tend to forget is that China, Korea and Japan are the most highly urbanized countries in the world. The women there have very "metropolitan" attitudes towards the role of females. So many Japanese women have done porn in their past, it is almost expected. Feminism is rife in Korea, and it is even more obnoxious than in the west. Asian women slut it up worse than white women.
Maybe the old cliche of the submissive oriental woman applied back in the 1950's, but it is long gone now

Their intelegence as whole is good, but not great, thus they are going to have issues with a growing elderly relying on a thinning workforce, a push for immigration from countries not of their own culture, ect ect.
