He was a failure too technically. Germany got absolutely fucked after WW1 and that led to Hitler having to fix the country. Sure, Hitler made some ridiculous mistakes during the war, he should have listened to his generals more, but before the war he did a lot more for his country than this fucker

>being this retarded

You know that the fine gentleman on the picture ist Otto von Bismarck?

>unifying all of germany
>destroying all of germany
huh

>Bismark forcefully retires
>German empire collapses

Really activates my almonds

if only wilhelm did'nt chimp out

>hitler
>a failure
just because you "failed" at something doesn't mean you are wrong.

Yes I do. Wilhelm is responsible for the war but did Bismarck really do more for Germany than Hitler did when the 3rd Reich ruled before the war? Don't think so

If Bismarck had been around the Great War wouldn't have happened, probably would have been a war, but Bismarck would know enough to not engage in unnecessary hostilities. During the Second Schleswig War with Denmark, he forced the military to directly attack a fort rather than going around because he realized that the more effective tactical plan would have caused a greater strategic/political failure.

Literally who

Ottosz Bismudksi, one of the greatest polish Politicians of his time

Yeah that's true. I'm just pondering the idea of who ruled over a better state during their rule, Bismarck or Hitler?

Didnt that guy reunifying Germany was a mistake?

«A great prussian, but a tiny european»

For you:

It's time to take the real redpill and leave behinds babby's first Sup Forums infographic.

Hitler didn't do shit for Germany. He massively increased military spending and inflated his economy with worthless bonds. He built an economy which would have exploded without World War 2, an economic machine which required constant cash injections through annexations (and the plunder of foreign gold reserves and art).

On top of that, his short-sighted territorial ambitions and his obscene pact with the Soviet Union plunged Europe into a war it never recovered from, simultaneously destroying fascism and gifting half of Europe to communism.

I would say Bismarck considering that he knew when to stop, Hitler made the same mistake Napoleon did. Although Frederick the Great is who I would consider to be the greatest Germanic leader of all time even though it was only Prussia. He presided over a practical Golden Age in Prussia. He won wars against Austria, France, and Russia while Prussia was producing some of the best music, political discourse, and art in the world at that time.

Bismark did'nt let ideology get infront of realpolitik

Bismarck united the German States under the leadership of Prussia, ended the century old conflict between Prussia and Austria by crushing the latter, defeated the French and ruled as chancellor during a time of rapid Industrialisation of Germany. In the end he turned the German Empire into a continental european powerhouse.

What did Hitler achieve?
This here is the answer.
He was an utter failure who only achieved the near total destruction of Germany. Only fools would praise him.

North American education everyone

>Bismark
>WW1

Bismarck was a great politician but he should have never united Germany and expect that those big new country would be just so easily accepted by the other empires, fuck him too.

he offered treaties throughout war. the allies needed total annihilation to protect (((them)))

...

Ottoman Bismarkci
A Turkish General who has commanded German soldiers in WW1 at the Russian Front.
Him and Atatürk are the only Turks that aren't roaches.

The problem with the Molotov-Ribbentrop pact wasn't that it put realpolitik in front of ideology. The problem was that it simply was a monumental mistake that turned the other powers against Germany, strengthened the SU and led to our current outcome of WW2.

What reason did they have to trust him at that point anyway? Hitler consistently made promises to halt territorial ambitions which he always proceeded to break. If he had stopped after gaining the Sudetenland like he promised everything could have been fine. By the time WW2 was underway Hitler had shown himself to be entirely untrustworthy and willing to aggressively attack neutral countries like Denmark, Norway and the Netherlands.

A German who actually won wars is not edgy enough for them.

You worship Bismarck? But he fucked Austria.

>Austrians hate him

It's not his fault he got sick as a kid, fucking up his arm and ruining his mental health. He was a good boy who dindu nuffun wrong.

Austria's defeat led to the Compromise of 1867, which was highly beneficial for Hungary.

Germany exists because of Bismark you burgerdolt.
