These are obsolete missiles and Trump only fired them because they're past their expire date, the Russian missile systems, when active could shoot the down easily. The Russians don't tend to do that because it then makes their anti missile batteries targets for the serious US arsenal.

The guidance systems in amerifat missiles are easily confused by the absence of friendly units to strike. The should have parked a red cross ambulance on the airstrip and all of them would have landed in 3-inch grouping.
