>Coudenhove-Kalergi proposed Beethoven's "Ode to Joy" as the music for the European Anthem.
Dunno man...
>part of the 4th movement and not even the entire thing
wew
>Is this the greatest piece ever composed?
correct
7th symph II movement
When listening to this I become ultra creative. Resonance with sympathetic cords of the left brain activity must allow the brain to become unleashed. I feel like clear and focused, as if I've taken the limitless pill.
>youtube.com
I like this one more
>peppy german songs and poems
>art
Do you want to see real german art?
youtube.com
Lol.. faggot do you even moonlight sonata?
>uga aga pipi kaka
fucking lost it
First movement is clearly superior. But the entire thing is a masterpiece, including the much-debated 4th movement and it's odd sung parts.
His 6th symphony is almost as great, though.
A close contender for the greatest symphonic work ever produced by Western civilisation, but the 5th symphony is slightly better.
>His 6th symphony is almost as great, though.
>liking even numbered beethoven
no, this (also by beethoven)
youtube.com
Masonic hymn though. But yes.
3rd is so much better than the 6th. 3rd and the 9th are the true GOATs.
Get off my pastorale, pleb.
Well for starters the EU uses it as their anthem.
And second not thinking this is the best piece ever conducted.
google.co.uk
And third its Wagner who called out the Jew he is totally our guy!
Not quite my tempo.
youtube.com
dude i love evangelion
No, Beethoven was a fucking decadent.
Try Bach, Handel, Telemann
>came in expecting moonlight sonata
>leaving dissapointed
No, because Bach.
Damn good though.
youtube.com
This piece is more suited for the times ahead.
Because this exists
youtube.com
Gotta love Dvořák.
>bach
mozart is clearly superior in every way
Mozart is trash and has no passion behind it.
It's literally elevator music.
Becuase the EU appropriated it as its anthem.
>be conductor
>don't wear tailcoat
youtube.com
you subhuman filth
>piano concertos, great mass, requiem, k.310
>''elevator music''
Not impressed.
Beethoven has better compositions in his shit.
Like I said, Mozart has no fucking passion at all, and you can tell that in his work.
This is just one of Beethoven's many great works.
youtube.com
>Not listening to superior Bach
>Mozart fags literally think their mindless dribble is better than THIS
youtube.com
Just because Mozart wrote lots of fucking songs and was a prodigy doesn't mean any of his work was actually fucking good, name one thing he innovated, just one.
2:00 onwards in the kyrie is the greatest musical moment ever.
beethoven basically stole mozart in the pathetique - youtu.be
mozart is literally god tier and nothing can ever change that
>implying innovation is literally all that matters
neck yourself
youtube.com
mozart brought everything musical to pure perfection and to this day everyone tries and fails to reach his clarity and beauty in his music.
beethoven is just an angry german faggot in comparison.
Beethoven fucking invented Romanticism and wrote masterpieces when he was DEAF.
Mozart was good at making elevator music in a smooth and concise matter, that's all.
Now get out of here fucking scum.
> MFW
>m-muh passion, m-muh-feels
youtube.com
There's a reason blacks think Beethoven was a nigger.
>Beethoven fucking invented Romanticism
fucking kek, try - youtube.com
>wrote masterpieces when he was DEAF
who the fuck cares
>Mozart was good at making elevator music in a smooth and concise matter, that's all.
literally nigger tier thinking
>name is Romance
>it HAS to be romantic, right?
You already posted this, and as I've said, I'm not impressed.
It's melodious but makes me feel literally nothing, and music should make you feel something.
ot
>dedicates the third symphony to Napoleon for the revolution
>when the fag self proclaimed himself emperor Ludwig erased that name from the sheets saying that Napoleon was no more a man
Beethoven is based.
why yes
Why can't Anglos into classical music?
Fuckin pathetic tßh
lol that's the first time i posted that piece in this thread.
i can't help you if the most powerful music in the world doesn't make you feel anything. you might be autistic.
Rape my fucking ears why don't you?
Call me an uncultured barbarian if you want but Hans Zimmer has created some of the best pieces of any of the composers. Perhaps in his lifetime his genius will be recognized.
youtube.com
I mean if this piece doesn't invoke passion than nothing can.
HOLY SHIT ARE YOU A FUCKING TROLL
IF YOU AREN'T ACTUALLY KILL YOURSELF
Great movie desu
>STOP LIKING THINGS I DONT LIKE
Off yourself worm. One doesn't have to listen to purely 200 year old compositions to like Classical music.
No. Why not?
youtube.com
This piece makes it clear that Bach was the only person to ever write music; everything else is just noise.
No because this is
youtube.com

>Hans Zimmer has created some of the best pieces of any of the composers
for this statement alone you deserve to be shot.
in all seriousness, if you want to get into mozart, watch the movie amadeus. one of the best movies ever made, and it's what got me into his music.
this!
>for this statement alone you deserve to be shot.
Holy shit, double replying to my posts, telling me I need to be shot.
I think I've found Mozart's biggest fanboy.
>implying I deserve to get shot for liking
youtube.com
Only thing interesting about Mozturd was his shit fetish, now GTFO.
unironically kys
In Mozart's defence he did produce some great operas however he peaked too early and by 30 his music was out of fashion and fell into deep drunken depression.
Although Bach and Beethoven are the two greatest composers as we remember them for what they accomplished. All historical accounts paint Mozart as the most gifted composer who ever lived.
He was known at a very early age to almost instantly develop at least 10 variations of any piece of music he heard. When we has travelling with his family around Europe he would challenge any composer to a variation play off and always come out on top.
with dancing
youtube.com
if the part from, roughly, 28:00 to 30:00 don't melt your heart you're a monster
youtube.com
no you retard, i fucking love that theme too, but you put zimmer above the classical masters, which is fucking stupid.
This!
But i prefer a version played by Gulda on a standard piano:
youtube.com
Indoctrinated idiot. Just because it's 200 years old doesn't make it ANY better than what we have today.
This I'd also like to add this to the thread.
youtube.com
Zimmer is literally trash
There is good modern stuff just not Zimmer. Bonus point this one is anti-marxist.
It is subjectively better because it was featured in a popular film and has more modern appeal.
WHAT THE FUCK IS THIS THREAD?
SUNDAY MUSIC SHIT
MODS WTF???
Probably yeah. I personally prefer Wagner because of his Politics, but god was Beethoven brilliant.
Maybe you'd be more willing to shit in the loo if you listened to some classical
Perhaps we can enrich this thread with the sounds of diarrhea hitting the shitting streets?
Calm down, Poo.
ZAYTOVEN >>>>>> BEETHOVEN
This is nice.
Kind of crazy how much more talented people were just a couple hundred years ago.
I saw this in the suggestion.
youtube.com
This is my shit. It was one of the best themes in Civ 4. And Civ 4 is a based game.
I absolutely can't stand mov. 3, 4 & 5, but I love mov. 1 & 2, especially conducted by Karajan.
Here are some other classical gems:
Kempff, Beethoven's Tempest sonata, 3rd mov
youtube.com
Karajan, Beethoven 7th symphony, 2nd mov
youtube.com
And the 3rd mov
youtu.be
A young, cute and amazing Argerich playing Scarlatti 141

Kissin playing Liszt's transcription of La Campanella

Beethoven's Moonlight Sonata, 3rd mov

Beethoven's Appassionata, 3rd mov

Mozart's Requiem

>Kind of crazy how much more talented people were just a couple hundred years ago.
And to think he was almost entirely deaf when he composed that. Absolutely mind-blowingly amazing.
He probably did hate jews, because it was a pretty commonplace belief, but the reason people say so is ridiculous. Apparently because one of the characters in an opera he made had basically all the characteristics Jews project themselves as having they called it anti semitic.
>wew
Yeah, I think the same about the Moonlight Sonata, the fact that most people only seem to know the first movement and not the other two.
I'm into the underground stuff. The unsung masterworks, if you will. youtube.com
they had more rules
It's sort of easier to create pretty things if you have a huge list of things you're not allowed to do
In today's art, you can anything you want which is bound to lead to a majority of crap
I wouldn't say there's less talent nowadays tho, just more people giving it a try
Karajan was god among men.
youtube.com
He also wrote a book about how much he hated the Jews.
>Mozart is trash
Edgy m8. I know he is very famous and basically the whole fucking world knows him but that doesn't mean that he sucks, compared to today's mainstream """musicians""".
I am saddened to see the actual greatest piece not posted yet:
youtube.com
Let me send you to heaven!
His rendition of Mozart's Requiem is the only thing by Karajan I absolutely don't like, in my opinion it's way too slow for my taste.
As for his other work, I think no one usually comes close, not even Harnoncourt or Kleiber.
These pieces do it for me. I hope you like them:
youtube.com
youtube.com
(Northumbrian pipes are from my part of England)
Bach is god-tier
way superior to mozart imo
youtube.com
>muh feelings, gotta make me cry, gotta make muh peepee happy
I listen to music because I like how melodies and notes make a good piece of work if combined together, much like a three-staged rocket accelerating to orbit.
What's wrong with that you fucking nigger?
You're talking out of your teeth bad dental man.
>implying the revolution was a good thing
>en.wikipedia.org
lol literally never heard of that before. I'm gonna try finding a pdf of that. Jews are still definetly projecting though in that other play.
>Even wasting time with anybody else when J. S. Bach's music exists
Nobody can touch him or ever will
