Libertarianism discussion

What is exactly wrong with Libertarianism ? To me it seems like a comfy ideology where both Liberals and Conservatives can cooperate.

Because it's just another kind of liberalism, and all liberalism is cancer.

Autistic and not grounded in the reality of human behavior

Reddit the ideology

/thread
Humans are not civilized, that's why we need civilization.

too much faith into the goodwill of complete strangers who you think are as nice and self reliant as yourself

I've thought of libertarianism as positing a solution without actually analysing the problem.

How do libertarians ensure that no large cabal of banking elites manipulate the market for their gain?

>all liberalism is cancer
only when carried out at everyone's expense, what do you care what degenerates do on their dime?

That's what we call an ideology.

No central banking allowed.

End the fed now.

>both LIBERALS and conservatives

Fuck liberals and their feelings.Libertarianism doesn't give you the weapons to fight degeneracy and political retardation(communism)

by not having mandated currencies like we have today; means of payment would be decided by parties doing the exchange

>it's a /pol thinks Libertarian and Anarcho-Capitalism are the same thing episode
fuck off

You don't believe Banks would pop up in a free market economy?

They are the same like anti-facists and anarcho-leftists are.

Pretty much this. I think libertarianism is neat, but it requires a strong homogenous nation to work to the fullest.

They're absolutely not. Having a state with a strictly defined small amount of responsibilities versus not having a state at all is a massive difference.

No one seems to agree on what libertarianism actually is. I visit libertarian forums sometimes, and virtually all of their topics are "X isn't really libertarian" or "you can't be libertarian if you believe in Y".

What would you call it then? Minarcho-Capitalism? Cuz that's equally as retarded

is mass immigration an incursion into property right?

It's just an ideology that demands a unreasonable amount of strictness. You can be a liberal and believe in gun rights, or be a conservative and be in favour of drug legalisation, but somehow as soon as a libertarian makes any sort of compromise with another ideology it's "NOT LIBERTARIAN".

It's honestly just easier to describe yourself as a small government moderate, because then people don't bother you with inane trifle like "well if you're a libertarian than why do think x???"

not as we know them today, it would be unfeasible for a variety of reasons

stfu Jacques, reddit the Ideology is more like modern-day canada, which is my no means libertarian

ebin meem

on the contrary actually. Citizens are allowed to be armed which prevents a degenerate cuckwad socialist government forming

>muh freedumbs
Its degenerate and you liberals know it.

Such as?
