Not a meme. one of their distributors was selling tainted products to their stores around the country. they did their best to make sure the name of the distributor never got out, potentially putting the lives of tens of thousands of people at risk if that distributor sold to other food service businesses. I don't know what kind of shenanigans they pulled to prevent it from becoming a nationwide scandal and tanking their stock, but I followed the stories of E. coli outbreaks closely to see if their stock would be a good short, and that kind of risky, sketchy business practice is the scummiest of the scummy.

We used to be something. I hope maybe we can be again. We've gone so long being way, way past lost hope. It's why everyone rose up along the rust belt to vote, because we saw a chance to maybe be something again. Even if it's a lie, we'd rather hold on to it then keep dying under the yoke of P.C. culture and law-regulated feelings.
