svg images only exist for the period august 2016 - present. however the images prior to this period 2013 - august 2016 are all stored on wikipedia's history server as png. tough breaks.
Further, my script is written with PIL, the python image library. It however does not cope well with svg - which is why the images are converted to png for the editing process. the conversion is curently at 1:1 because i produce the movies on a 1000 x 1509 canvas - a best fit canvas size that is not the biggest nor the smallest but sits well in between the average of the sizes of all the images that I have.
Ghouta was an experiment. It is useless - this was a point I made in my initial post. But i guess u didn't read it because you were too busy stuffing your face with milk chocolate. Effing mountain nigger.
