SV40 stands for Simian Virus 40.
SV40 was the 40th virus found in rhesus monkey kidney cells when these cells were used to make the polio vaccine. This virus contaminated both the Inactivated Polio Vaccine (IPV) created by Dr. Jonas Salk and the Oral or "Live" Polio Vaccine (OPV) created by Dr. Albert Sabin.

They've done studies where two papers were submitted to prestigious universities to be peer reviewed. Both were major theses, 40 000 words or so, and both had a deliberate major error in their methodology. Not something you would pick up if you simply glanced at the synopsis and conclusion; something you would have to actually read the paper and follow what they were doing to pick up, but something a qualified PhD should have no trouble noticing.
Only difference between the papers was one came to a conclusion that the establishment already agreed with, and the other one disagreed with the established theories.

Appearance and health are correlated with inteligence/IQ (no really look it up)
"strong genes" are also correlated with being able to live longer and higher iq and having better immune systems as well as cancer resistance (check into down syndrome or "crap tier" autists, ie not Sup Forums smart autists but people smacking themselves and not being able to even to communicate properly. For those individuals, their health score is drastically worse compared to normal people; die earlier, larger chance of getting cancers at earlier ages, weaker immune systems, weaker responses to seasonal flu and etc.

"Goodness" of an individual genetic material is more or less proportional to their health/immune system strength, resistance to toxins, viruses and harmful chemicals, their maximum intelligence/IQ potential and overall fitness and appearance.

Oh sure, they can be overpriced depending on who's making them. Not all insurance agencies cover them when really they can make a killing with preventative medicine. We've combined a number of separate vaccines into one mega vaccine and there's not a whole lot of study on it ("why bother, its components are all tested") and there's a risk of using live vaccines can lead to actual infections.
However, not taking the vaccine is throwing the baby out with the bathwater. We can legislate most of the issues out and throw tax dollars on most of the rest.
