do you plan on going to church tomorrow?

I've yet to formally join a Church

Pentecostal reporting in. Things are looking pretty positive for us.

Do you like peanut brittle?

Bump
I love Chrischan

does your wife have long hair?

I went to a park often as a kid that would give out free peanut brittle and I always took more than I probably should have

>implying I have a wife
When I get one, she will. Maybe not THAT long though.

do some women have long hair like that at your church? or is it just a meme?

apologies for this retarded topic but no one else has brought up something better for discussion

SAGE

>Reminder that Catholics better go to confession and Mass tomorrow for Divine Mercy Sunday.

>implying Christianity wasn't used as an excuse for those

you only responded that obvious bait for a covert thread bump

I'm a gay Christian...
>I don't partake in pornography
>Struggling with not masturbating
>I have a (e)bf and I'm going to try to wait until marriage...
>I want to have a family
I-is this feasible with God.

oh no I've been caught

>I have a (e)bf and I'm going to try to wait until marriage...

if you make sure that waiting lasts forever, maybe

I guarantee you're not a Christian
I guarantee no one here is.
Leviticus 20:13
"'If a man has sexual relations with a man as one does with a woman, both of them have done what is detestable. They are to be put to death; their blood will be on their own heads.

Matthew 5:17-19
“Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them. For truly I tell you, until heaven and earth disappear, not the smallest letter, not the least stroke of a pen, will by any means disappear from the Law until everything is accomplished.

Luke 16:17
It is easier for heaven and earth to disappear than for the least stroke of a pen to drop out of the Law.

Matthew 5:27
Have you yet?

And to add to that

Matthew 15:4-7
Mark.7:9-13

Basically the so called Christians and Jews alike are all hypocrites, true Christians and Jews died off a long long time ago.

But you'll sit in denial, because you were raised and brainwashed this way that you are now, programmed like a fucking computer, can't use logic and reasoning just obedience to the lies you were taught.

Yes. I'm starting to tithe also.

>I don't partake in pornography
>Struggling with not masturbating
That's okay, lots of Christians struggle with porn/masturbation. The important thing is that you don't give up trying to fight it

>I have a (e)bf and I'm going to try to wait until marriage...
even if you marry him, it will still be a sin. Your marriage would only be valid in the eyes of the state, not God or the Church and homosexuality is a sin

>I want to have a family
you'll need a wife for that

I-is this feasible with God.
God makes anything feasible, but he doesn't support sin. Have you tried being straight? I struggle with bisexuality and am trying to kill that part of me. If you can't then maybe God wants you to be celibate

Christ fulfilled the law and brought the new covenant, you don't have to follow the Old Testament law unless you're Jewish.

>this copypasta again
for what purpose?

you're btfo every time you post it

>For this cause ought the woman to have power on her head because of the angels. (1 Corinthians 11:10)
what did Paul mean by this?

This is the best thread on this board, and probably on any board for that matter.

I was recently called a "dumb cunt" because I dislike pornography.

Yep. Hopefully I can get up the courage to talk to that young baptist qt. She always comes with her mom though so I don't know how to make it not awkward

>I have a weird feeling God doesn't want me to get married and the feeling gets stronger every time I think about it.
>Paul says a man should get married if they feel lust.
I've never been this confused. I don't know what I should do.

How can you fight bisexuality? I mean I've always prefered girls for relationships but can help to feel exited for men some times. I trie to refrain myself from masturbation and porn, and although have more self control than some time ago, it's still a big lift on my back. I really want to end this because its practically the only sin I commit continently.

Is it bad if I'm Catholic and never go to church?

Yes, but most Catholics do this. Just try to go at least once a week.

Yeah, unfortunately. Try to go on Sundays.

According to a catholic mystic who had a vision of Christ:

>Sister Mary stated that Jesus told her that the two sins which offend him the most grievously are blasphemy and the profanation of Sunday.

Catholics aren't Christian

no u

>implying that sort of silliness doesn't happen in catholic masses too

youtube.com/watch?v=rh_nqtp3VrU

...

...

A few women have hair that long. Most of them don't, but even then you're not going to see a lot of bob cuts in the audience.

...

i kind of want to experience one of these 'drunk in the spirit' services (if that's what that's called)
but i think i'd be too shy to let loose like that

I think it'd be fun to, I'd probably end up laughing though

quakers have an interesting service
>sit around in a circle and shut up

This is why they should have kept Tridentine Mass. That's such a tragedy that they are removing such beautiful tradition. There's only one parish in my area's diocese that still keeps the Latin Mass.

Remember:
>1) Masturbating and watching porn counts as lust.
>2) If you don't get married you will die old and alone
I know it's more holy to remain single, but I don't think I want to live that kind of life.

All of those verses are God stating or reiterating the law. Are you saying that because Christians don't perfectly follow the law that they're hypocrites? You have a serious misunderstanding of Christianity

I believe in Radical Christian Womanism, which is second wave womanism that retakes womanism from the blacktransersectionalist (meta)anti(white)femists and give it back to the breasts and the womb where it belongs.

Christian women are woman reborn as God's vision for the gender. They are radically feminine, and they probably are into things like unassisted homebirth and modest clothing.

But make no mistake, long hair for a woman, in this day and age is a statement of intent. Of course, I think our women should cover, so game on.

I think that all God doesn't want you to do is anal. So don't do anal, and you'll be okay!

the color yellow needs to become our national anthem

It means she should have authority over her own head, apparently because of the agents of the Powers using hair as a weapon of lust, division, and even heresy in the church. It's quite a rich and interesting topic.

Here's the Bercot video for everyone:

Does anyone here bother thinking about what denomination they are?

I've gone through believer's baptism with the church and they're the only churches I go to and I suppose I'd have to classify myself as Southern Baptist if anything

I'm a Pentecostal. I still consider the people like Catholics as Christian, but I'd prefer if they were also Pentecostal. I am glad to hear that we're making good progress converting them in Latin America.

Does masturbation without the use of porn or sexual thoughts count as lust?

How should I start learning about Christianity.

The Protestants were very cruel to do this to us.

Romans 3:23

"for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, and all are justified freely by his grace through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus."

I wish I could so much. I want to begin the process of becoming an Orthodox Christian, but I work every sunday.

If you tell your work that you're religious you should be able to get sundays off.

>/Ecclesia/
so you're a biblical uniterianist?

if you're bored enough, take this test:

You know the answer already user. Its a difficult habit to break, take it day by day, then move on to weeks, etc.

Yup! I help run the service so I am there every Sunday. Feelsgood helping the Pastor and staff every Sunday.

Fuck Mormon

Sounds good.

You should be happy for them user. They were as spiritually dead as a whitewashed tomb before the Pentecostals came along. Why, in a land of so many faithful Catholics, has an ugly ideology ideology like Communism been allowed to take root?

christianity is a fucking clusterfuck, don't ask these niggers, if you really are a christian, ask god. consult your beliefs and faith. No matter what though, don't listen to anti gay idiots who think gay marriage is evil. Even if you could be theoretically committing a sin, god already doesn't look kindly on real marriage, celibacy is better, marriage is a way to make a sinful relation okay. in other words, living your life as closely as possible to gods vision but more gay is far better than sticking your dick in everything.

The Church needs reformation yet again, but I fear this time, yet again, there will be those who would prefer to flee from the task and instead turn brother against brother for their own aggrandizement.

youtube.com/watch?v=w1iiP1Q4Yhg

Uh....no

Except I literally don't. I've never used porn and I can't think of a time when I've ever felt sexually attracted to anyone (as in, ever having a conscious desire to want to have sex with someone). People have suggested I'm asexual but I'm not sure that's a real thing. I genuinely don't understand what lust is, or sexual attraction in general, or what distinguishes the two from each other and abstract arousal.

>god already doesn't look kindly on real marriage, celibacy is better, marriage is a way to make a sinful relation okay.

Do not teach heresy, please. Thank you.

its the truth.

thats what reformation always means. reformation never "works", it just splits and schisms a religion, which may or may not be a bad thing in your view but it certainly doesn't restore an issue,

Hey Christians! I heard somewhere about God being a war god? Can I get some more info on that? Cause that sounds great.

Damn user, i'm opposite of you with Catholic and Orthodox being 100%.

Speaking of churches, does anyone else's church have a formal membership registry? My church just started doing this recently, and apparently being a formal member grants me the privilege of voting on motions, including formal adoption of budget. It's limited to baptized Christians, of course. Seems harmless to me, but does this sound weird to any one?

That sounds far too formal and political

"The Truth About the Sodomites"

I've always been Southern Baptist. Most of them are okay with other Christian groups, but one church I went to gave lessons on how Catholics and Mormons were heretics.

>Catholics and Mormons were heretics
I mean, they ARE heretics, but they're certainly still Christians.

Pic related

>100% catholic
>100% orthodox
>100% protestant

You don't need to visit a church to speak to God. God always listens but he's busy in heaven.

I was always traditional about religion, but yeah I don't know what fuck happened.

Are you saying you are not attracted to the human form, or that you are attracted to the human form, but cannot envision yourself having sex with someone. The latter would seem more to be an expression off trust issues then asexuality.

Mormons are certainly not.

The test is shit.

I don't know how to define attraction. I cannot think of a time where I have ever gotten an erection over the appearance of someone. I don't have any inherent disgust regarding sex, I'd consider myself indifferent towards it. Though I have been indoctrinated into "sex isn't an option until you're married" since childhood - It's possible that mindset could have somehow caused subconscious repression, I don't know how to rule that out.

it's usually really accurate

>Tfw when in communion with the True Church

Thank goodness, I was afraid I might need to round up a stake.

It's an online test so I wouldn't be too surprised.

Thanks for the input. I've always thought it was a little unnecessary as well. Guess I'll just maintain a slightly weary disposition toward it.

Not sure either, you probably should talk it over with someone you trust. Do you have issues with intimacy in platonic relationships?

Depends what you call intimacy
I've got a close friend who I hug a lot and I'm comfortable being physically close with, but it's not sexual. When it comes to talking with him about things, there are still some things I'm not comfortable or used to talking about (but I can pinpoint those to being either a topic that I don't like thinking about in general or something where past experiences before I met him made me used to not wanting to talk about it with anyone (eg tv shows that previous friends didn't like, so I just naturally don't talk about things I watch anymore))
Back like 4-5 years ago I had a (different) close friend who I was too clingy with, but we had bad communication and I never realized it at the time. He got a gf and school ended, at which point he essentially cut contact with me (and everyone else from school). For at least the year after that it was kind of a withdrawal period, I was still thinking about him a lot and didn't care about making any new friends at uni. I've got a close friend again now and I'm consciously aware of not being too clingy (ie not trying to message him every day or be a part of everything in his life) Not entirely sure how relevant that is but I feel like that ordeal defined me a bit regarding how much value I put on requiring other people. Perhaps it's related.

Any Calvinists/Reformed Protestants here?

Well, whether its hormonal or psychological or something else, no one can really tell you if you're supposed to be married or not but you and God. But I wouldn't say that the presence of sexual desire, regardless of its source, necessary means you have to be married. I'm fairly certain the majority of people who try to adopt celibacy struggle with it, otherwise it wouldn't be such a treasured virtue in Christianity.

Either way, its something you have to think over. Might be biological. One last thing though, do you exercise regularly, or lift weights? Its a meme, but a true one I've found, that eating decently and working out, especially with weights, does increases my interest in the opposite sex.

Grew up in the reformed chruch

Nice. Did you leave or do you still belong to it?

Catholic reporting in

I'm working on converting to either Orthodoxy or Catholicism, leaning Orthodox. I live in West Michigan (lot of Dutch settlers) so there are tons of reformed churches here.
