Islam and labour have a lot to answer for.
Bentley Sanchez
Sensible plan, loads of people I knew always managed to speak it in about 2 weeks going out on the piss, buying takeaways and new games consoles.
Was always quite funny then watching them bleating poverty for the rest of the term.
Thomas Ortiz
I did buy a cheap fender accoustic guitar for about 150 quid on my first undergraduate degree.. still have it.
Carson Murphy
>early on a slow night Ballsy move that mate..
Brandon Martin
Yeah I don't know how students end up in their overdraft, surely people must realise if you've got no real income you can't spend like a retard.
That said, last year I totally blew through all the money I had saved due to having a car. Between buying it, fuel, insurance and repair bills I probably burned though about 7 grand in 12 months, sold it for like 2 grand because I had literally nothing left in my bank account.
Sebastian Sanders
>buying a cheap instrument ever Fatal error. You fell for the "I learned to play on a busted guitar" meme
Juan Rodriguez
My friend spent 1000 bongs on a bass guitar using his student finance money.
He's a music student though, and the bass was nice.
Cooper Morgan
Learned to play on a fender mexican strat, ibanez bass and washburn electric before that.
I just bought the accoustic from sound control i think it was called (closed down) on manchester oxford road almost a decade ago so i had a guitar with me, tried a few yamahas and such, tried a fender cd100, sounded ok for the money, action was fine, no issues with the build, id played one before and knew they had a good rep as a budget guitar and bought it for between 100 and 150 quid.
Lucas Myers
Think £150 is a lot more reasonable than £1000, its annoying to think though I knew of people doing things like that then applying for Hardship Grants from the university because they claimed they had no money.

>Think £150 is a lot more reasonable than £1000
150 quid gets you absolute dogshit unless you know what you are doing to be fair, for that kind of budget you should stay away from almost all electric guitars and basses.
You can snag an acceptable accoustic for about 200 these days. Which is about what that cheapo fender i bought costs today.
Personal opinion i wouldn't suggest anybody spend less than 300 on an electric.
1000 is a good ballpark for something special, though bargains can be had between 350ish-600.

I'm doing it slowly, not at that stage yet. I'm just telling them how stupid they are for believing His Majesty is going to help them he's in fact done nothing but enrich himself.

MORE LINKS BETTER DISCUSSION NOW WITH ADDED TORIES BRIT/POL/ ELECTION SEASON
wishing i was neet so i can sort out the state of this election
>never tory >coalition >rise of small parties
Le Pen will be a sounding bell for the British electorate, the right will feel bolstered, the left will become entrenched. Partisan politics will increase as divisions deepen. Corbyn must cater for the """general""" public, whilst holding somewhat true to his morals. May on the other hand, has no morals so she is free to maneuver, avoiding the long knives ofc. The Lib Dems, SNP, Green etc. don't offer a viable alternative for one-party government, however they could well play kingmakers in a rainbow coalition outcome. I don't see UKIP making any gains in seats, probably lose Carswell's. The right have no option but to rubber stamp Theresa the geeza. The left is somewhat fractured and disillusioned by Breggsit, it's up to them to choose to unite, or divide and wait (for another generation). May has efficiently made people so numb to politics that they couldn't care less about this general election. Yet she has overestimated her hand, the narrative of Tory domination doesn't sit well with the public
>There will be a hung parliament >Theresa May will lose her majority, and premiership >A Corbynsortium of left-ish parties could stop the Tories >Corrupt May will go down in history as a failed daughter of Thatcher
Camden Barnes
>probably lose Carswell he resigned and is now an independent
Gavin Robinson
You really can't compare France to the UK, France is like Britain was in the 1970s with a stagnating economy and the added twist of home grown Islamic terrorism.

Some burger in ptg just posted a reddit link, and I won't post it here because reddit is a bit gay. But it's a collection of headlines, here's a selection.
>Man yells, "Make America Great Again!" Before shooting 6 people dead. >Man wearing, "Make America Great Again" hat murders 2 strangers for no reason. >Two men beat a homeless man with a metal bar and urinate on him screaming, “Donald Trump was right, all these illegals need to be deported,” When asked for a comment about the incident Trump defends them saying, "My supporters are very passionate. They love this country and they want this country to be great again." >"You fucking gorillas and baby monkeys, We voted for Trump. Trump's building a wall, beaners, and you'll be going back to where you belong." Man yells at black elementary school children unprovoked before he swerves his car at them attempting to hit them. >Local Republican Politician sexually assaults a woman by, "grabbing her pussy." and then says he is allowed to do it because now that Trump is president he doesn't have to be politically correct.
Things that happened, honestly.

I think Jeremy Corbyn seems like a really good guy and I hope he's our next prime minister.
Jaxon Johnson
no the lib dems are done for you could argue that they could form a coalition with labour but their voterbases are diametrically opposed and even people that vote lib-dem only do it because it's basically the left wing version of voting for ukip
Carson Hernandez
I think the Labour right should break off and merge with the LD, and call it the Liblairal Democrats. They could beat Labour within ten years and become the opposition
Julian Brown
That would be horrible.
Though come to think of it why don't all the Blairites just join the libdems?
David Barnes
LibDems are hurting right now because Tim "Pray the Gay Away" Farron has pissed off the people he's trying to convince because he holds a basic religious belief and they hate that because current year.
